About: While I’ve had family pets my whole life (dogs, cats, tortoises, frogs, and classic betta fish), I waited until after undergrad to try my hand at raising puppies. I have two energetic Siberian huskies who LOVE their play time, their walks and trips to the dog park. They make fast friends! Zuko, the youngest husky, has cataracts in his eyes, so I have a lot of personal experience with medication and eye drop administration. I currently only work part time at our local restaurant, and I’m off Thursday, Friday, Saturday. Wednesdays I work 4:30pm-9pm, and Sundays I work 9am-1pm, but I have the unique ability to take as many breaks on Sunday as I please, offering more time for potty breaks and walks! Mondays I work 9am-1pm and 4pm-9pm, so I usually do come home on my break to walk and feed my boys, and if that schedule works for your pup, I’d be happy to care for them then as well! My backyard is fully fenced (6ft wood fence), and two young, energetic Siberian huskies to keep your baby company! Both of my boys are neutered, friendly, and don’t mind a little rougher play. My dogs are not crated while I’m away, but I do have a crate and a separate room for your pup for the hours I am gone. Dogs are always allowed on the furniture in my house.

“We love Lindsay and so does our Rio. She takes such good care of him, was so patient with him when he had stranger danger at first, and makes sure he is a happy boy after every visit. She is always so responsive and easy to communicate with.”

About: Aloha! We’re new to Rover ~ but not new to loving dogs! We’re a pet-loving family with a calm, home-based lifestyle, and we’re so excited to welcome your furry friend into our ʻohana. In our clean, spacious home with a fully fenced yard, your dog won’t just be a guest — they’ll be part of the family, with plenty of play, structure, and cuddle time. From playful puppies to wise seniors, we’ve cared for dogs of all ages, temperaments, and needs — including picky eaters and those with shy or reactive personalities. With our friendly, well-socialized pups of our own and years of hands-on experience, we know how to make dogs feel safe, happy, and right at home. What makes us different? It’s our aloha-style care — warm, consistent, and full of heart. Every dog gets personalized attention and daily routine in a loving, real-home setting. Meet & greets are welcome (but not required for short stays) — we love making sure it’s a great fit for everyone! Pet care fits naturally into our daily rhythm! Our mornings begin with breakfast and a walk, followed by mid-morning and afternoon breaks — perfect for playtime, cuddles, or an extra stroll. My husband is an early riser and often home early, so there’s almost always someone around to give your pup the attention and care they deserve. With our flexible schedule and genuine love for dogs, we offer a safe, structured, and loving environment where your pet can truly feel at home. I also love capturing sweet moments and would be happy to send daily photo updates upon request — so you can stay connected and see all the fun your pup is having while you’re away! Our dogs are house dogs and truly part of the family — they’re free to relax and make themselves at home. We don’t require guest dogs to be crated overnight if that’s not your preference. However, if your pup is already crate-trained or you’d like them crated during their stay, we have a clean, comfortable crate available and are happy to accommodate. We have a secure, fenced yard for playtime and a covered garage space set up as an additional play or shelter area when needed. It’s important to us that every dog feels safe, cared for, and loved. A little about us: My husband and I were both born and raised on the island of Oʻahu and moved to Oregon 15 years ago. We’ve raised three young adult children who still live with us — they’re busy with college, work, and their own hobbies like workouts, basketball, and bowling — but they’ll definitely sneak in some extra hugs and cuddles with your pup! We love to travel, hike, and explore. My husband is a great cook and takes the lead on meals. I help out too — and I enjoy weekly boxing workouts with friends. Our lifestyle is active, loving, and home-centered — and our goal is to create a space where your dog feels just as welcome and loved as ours. We look forward to meeting you and your furry family member!

About: I’ve been around animals all my life. Helping with rescue situations with my family, walking our furry friends and pet sitting. I’ve personally have had special care pets and have cared for animals that need extra love. Between my family, personal life and clients I have worked with puppies and senior animals. My kiddos and I love animals. We love our furry family and can’t wait to provide love to yours. I am free most days as I am a stay at home mom to two kiddos. We love animals and have enjoyed caring for our furry friends together. Walking pups, pet sitting, weekend care to long term care. With a flexible schedule I can be available most anytime. Please note if your family would prefer no children around I can try and accommodate that if scheduling works. When I meet up with clients I make sure that kiddos are allowed with me, take notes, listen to the details needed to provide the best care. With personal animals at home I know how important all the little details matter. Provide photos or messages if desired when providing care so you can stay connected to your family.

“Andrea was great at initiating our first meet-up as well as continuously communicating throughout her drop in visits. Our pet was well cared for and not nearly as anxious as she usually is when we are away.”

About: 🐶 About Me Hi there! I’m Jessica—a lifelong dog lover and experienced pet parent. After 16½ wonderful years with my own pup, I’m not quite ready for a new dog of my own… but I deeply miss the joy, snuggles, and companionship. That’s why I’m here—to give your dog a safe, loving, and fun environment while you’re away. I work from home full-time, so your pup will have round-the-clock attention and care. Whether they love to play, nap in a sunny spot, or follow someone from room to room, I’ll be there for them every step (and paw print) of the day. 🐾 Pet Care Experience I had the joy of caring for my own dog for over 16½ years—from energetic puppyhood through her golden senior years. That experience gave me a deep understanding of how to adapt care based on age, energy level, and personality. Whether it’s giving meds, managing special diets, or making sure senior pups get up and down stairs safely, I’ve been there. What sets me apart is my ability to create a calm, loving environment that feels like home. I work from home full-time, so your dog won’t be left alone—and they’ll get personalized attention, playtime, and snuggles throughout the day. I’m especially tuned in to dogs who need a little extra TLC—whether they’re shy, older, or adjusting to time away from home. I’m happy to stick to specific routines, administer medications, and support training habits you already have in place. This isn’t just a side gig for me—it’s a heartfelt way to stay connected to the dog energy I love so much, and to give pet parents peace of mind while they’re away. 🐾 Why I’m a Great Sitter 16+ years of hands-on dog ownership Full-time work-from-home setup = 24/7 companionship Calm, nurturing energy and personalized care Flexible schedule and great communication Comfortable with all sizes, breeds, and personalities 🏡 My Home & Yard Your pup will love my fully fenced backyard—it’s a secure space perfect for zoomies, sniffing adventures, and lounging in the fresh air. It’s also chock full of toys and “buried treasure” from my own beloved pup—a backyard with history, love, and tail-wagging energy. Inside, they’ll find a calm, cozy space with plenty of room to relax, play, and feel at home. Whether they’re crate-trained, couch cuddlers, or both—I’ll follow their routine to the letter. 📸 What to Expect I provide consistent updates, adorable photos, and check-ins so you’re never left wondering how your fur baby is doing. I know firsthand how much trust it takes to leave your dog with someone—and I take that responsibility seriously. Your pup will be treated like family, because in my house… they are. I work from home full-time, which means I’m here all day to keep your pup company! My schedule is flexible, so I can easily accommodate potty breaks, playtime, walks, and feedings according to your dog’s usual routine. Mornings start with outside time in my fully fenced yard, followed by a mix of work (for me) and supervised lounging, cuddles, and playtime (for your pup). Midday walks and backyard breaks are part of our rhythm, and evenings are all about winding down together with lots of love and attention. Whether it’s a weekday or weekend, your dog will have round-the-clock care and companionship. I never overbook, so your pet gets the dedicated attention they deserve. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. In my home, I provide a clean, calm, and welcoming environment with lots of soft places to rest, space to play, and loving company throughout the day. I have a fully fenced yard for secure outdoor time—perfect for sniffing, exploring, and soaking up the sun. I always supervise outdoor play, and dogs are never left unattended in the yard. Inside, I create a low-stress atmosphere with minimal noise and no other pets or small children, so your dog can settle in and relax. I follow your instructions closely—whether it’s feeding schedules, crate routines, or medication needs. I’m happy to provide frequent updates with photos and notes, so you always know how your pup is doing. This isn’t just pet sitting—it’s building trust and creating a safe, loving space that feels like home while you’re away.

About: Over the last 7 years I've had 2 small dogs, 2 cats, 4 ducks, 12 ducklings, 2 rabbits, and fostered 7 dogs and 20+ cats aged newborn to hospice and BFF to semi-feral. Growing up I had big dogs, cats, fish, and rats. I work from home, so I am very flexible for in-home care and free weekends and after 4 for dropins. Whatever your fur baby needs! I have a 6" fully fenced in yard. Separate rooms for cats or exotics. I have 2 small dogs, 2 cats, and 4 ducks, that all get along well. The ducks are fully enclosed when not supervised. I insist on harnesses for walking and am very familiar with using muzzles if needed. My house has no breed restrictions as long as they are safe for me to manage.

About: I love spending time with animals, especially cats and dogs. I’m a patient and caring person. I train my cat every day — she already knows 16 commands, and we both truly enjoy the process. Pet care is part of my daily routine. I love planning my day so I have dedicated time for playing, feeding, cuddling, and taking care of animals. It’s not “extra work” — it’s what makes my day feel complete. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or the client’s, I always aim to create a calm and safe environment. I stick to their usual routine, respect boundaries, and pay attention to every detail. Pets should feel safe, loved, and understood — and I make sure they do.

Hillsboro pet parents share their Rover experiences
Our cat, Mittens, walked into our lives two months ago. She was a stray and her personality has proven to be difficult for all who know her. She has two modes, friendly and cuddly or violent. After scratching our nine year old neighbor who was trying to watch her while we were out of town as well as an adult neighbor who was also trying to help, I contacted Andrew to see if he could take over. Andrew was able to understand our complicated kitty and did a great job caring for her while we were gone. Mittens adored her time with Andrew, and minimized her attacks under his care. He spent time getting to know her and playing with her. He brought toys and cuddles. He offered helpful tips and resources for taming our spicy feline. I hope that Andrew is available when we next go out of town. I also hope that our spicy stray calms down. Thank you Andrew for making our time away one thousand times less stressful.

Very appreciative of Scott accepting my last minute booking. We reached out when we realized what we thought would be a shorter day trip was turning into an entire day outing. He stopped by and walked my German Shepherd and Jack Russell terrier. Fed them, gave them some love & attention and got their water refilled. He did a great job and sent me all of the communication and photos when he was checking in walking and checking out. I recommend Scott highly to anyone who needs help with pets!

Mara did such a great job taking care of my 3 cats. They were happy and healthy when I got back. She communicated with me and gave me regular updates. My home was in great condition after a week long trip. I would highly recommend having Mara and Samuel take care of your furry family members. I look forward to working with them again.
