About: My own dog recently passed away at the age of 20, so I am an expert in care for Senior Pets and Special Needs (blindness, deafness, etc), and a calm and patient sitter for anxious dogs. I am very experienced with medication and specialized diets. Your pet will have a wonderful time in my care! I run my own businesses and am very flexible at the current time to care for your pets! I can even bring my work with me on occasion if needed. I am very respectful of your space and often take dogs out to the park or somewhere outdoors to play if there is no yard. Your animals will get plenty of playtime and love, and I value staying in close communication should any issues arise!
About: I’ve been surrounded by pets for as long as I can remember! Growing up as the main caretaker for our domestic shorthairs and Burmese cats gave me a natural feel for feline personalities, daily routines, and keeping cats happy and comfortable. Over the years, our family home was also filled with dogs of all kinds, including a high-energy Border Collie and sweet sighthounds like our Greyhound and Whippet. Having such a diverse pack taught me how to adjust to different energy levels, training styles, and exercise needs with patience and care. I’m currently the daily caregiver for a wonderful Labrador, and for the past several years, I’ve also loved stepping in as a reliable pet sitter for my neighbors when they travel, making sure their fur babies feel safe, loved, and right at home while their owners are away. My schedule is super flexible! I’m currently a college student, but because almost all of my coursework is completed online, my days are wide open. Aside from the occasional weekday morning for a class or check-in, I’m available throughout the day and week whenever your pet needs drop-in visits, feeding, or extra playtime and cuddles. She even put out food for the neighborhood cat that visits our poarch for us. About: I've pet sit cats, dogs, chickens, guinea pigs, and lizards for the past few years and have taken care of my own my whole life! Most of my experience is with German shepards and pitbull mixes when it comes to dogs, but I've had my fair share of little dogs including chihuahuas, dachshunds, and Boston terriers. I'm a college student currently on summer break and available to spend time with your companions after 9 am during the week, and am open to discussing weekend times! I want to learn about what works best for your pets and any special rituals they may have! I've worked with dogs that were crated at night, ones that were needed to be walked to use the bathroom, and ones with a fenced in backyard that they were free to roam! My name is Vicky, I have 2 dog savvy kids, a great husband, and a super friendly Australian Cattle Dog named Beau(8.5) and Zero(3.5) our dog savvy cat. We live in a house with a large fenced (7ft fence) backyard in a wonderful neighborhood. I have over 8 years of dog care experience. I work full time at a local vet office as a veterinary technician assistant/customer service representative, and have fostered over two dozen puppies for local dog rescues. I'm available Friday, Saturday, and Sunday full days, but if other days are needed we can discuss that at the meet and greet. I really enjoy getting to know each dog I care for; what their likes/dislikes are, what makes them happy/sad/mad, how they like to eat their food, etc.., it really adds to the quality of care I like to provide. My meet and greets are pretty simple. You'll come to my home, our dogs will meet, we'll go over care and any questions we may have, and view areas where your pet will be spending most of their time. Our boarders typically spend their time playing in the backyard with me, my family, and Beau, we go out for walks at the discretion of the owner, during summer we set up a doggy pool and sprinklers so they can cool off, we like to do very amateur pet photo shoots(weather permitting), during the holidays we like to take our December guests to see Santa! if not outside they will be indoors watching a movie with us or playing hide and seek, We strive to to make them feel like they are at home. Corey was wonderful! I was so worried about leaving Tabby and Amy, but I found that there was no need for me to worry at all. Corey would send me reports every day with lots of photos of two very happy cats! She gave them plenty of attention and played a lot with them. Julie is a wonderful caretaker and such a nice person. I relocated from Las Vegas to Hillsboro and one week from moving in, needed to go on a trip. Julie FaceTimed me while I was still in Nevada and then also visited once I had moved. She is knowledgeable, reliable, and takes her role seriously while also providing playful fun. Cypress was an incredible sitter for our dog Rocky! Check ins were varied and detailed with plenty of pictures. In addition, they were very prompt to respond to messages both before and during the booking. Our pup can be a little temperamental and finicky during walks, and Cypress handled it beautifully! They have a special touch with animals as our cats came out for extra attention during check ins as well. Without any promoting, they also checked on the cats food and water, going above and beyond. I am looking forward to having them as our trusted dog sitter again in the future. ❤️
Jamie was absolutely wonderful with our two cats! She was incredibly attentive to their individual needs and truly went above and beyond to make sure they were happy, comfortable, and well cared for while we were away. She was extremely communicative, kind, and thoughtful throughout our trip, and we really appreciated that she came over for a meet-and-greet beforehand to go over all of their care needs and logistics. We felt completely at ease knowing our cats were in such caring and capable hands, and we would happily recommend Jamie to anyone looking for a fantastic pet sitter!
As usual, Annee did a great job taking care of my cat, Echo. He's now dealing with new allergies, a cone, and new oral medications, so there was more complexity involving his care. She did a great job as usual and while we had to make adjustments multiple times around medications, she was receptive and did a good job given the circumstances. Echo remained safe and healthy, and played a lot with her while I was gone. I continue to trust Annee with Echo's care and would book her again.

sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
