I am free on Thursdays and Fridays as far as week days go. I also can work on the weekend too. I just need notice so that I can accommodate. About: From middle school to college, my family cared for a sweet rescue pup named Ginger! I cuddled with her as often as I could, played music for her, and took her on walks to chase rabbits. Nowadays I live with an adorable cat aptly named Kitty (who's napping against my leg as I type this)! She's my landlady's pet; I look after Kitty every time I'm alone in the house, and Kitty always brightens up my day. :)) I want to learn more about different pet personalities and how to care for them with the respect they deserve. I keep my eye out for unique behaviors and body language quirks, and I'm always game for playtime to help keep their minds and bodies enriched. As a recent college grad, I've got an early morning part-time retail job and am in the midst of applying for a second daytime gig. I anticipate having some afternoons and evenings free! I treat home visits like a peaceful hike in the woods - leave no trace, and enjoy the company! I don't go poking and prodding around unless instructed to. I DO give lots of head pats and scritches if pets want them! I'm careful to refrain from over- and under-feeding pets, and I'm always open to hearing what I can do to improve in any area of pet care. About: I have dogsat for my grandparents numerous times, sometimes up to two weeks before. I’ve had pets my entire life and know how to walk, care and feed them! Pet care fits in my schedule because I care full time for my own cat, who is a Manx breed. He is pretty high energy and is very active, so I’m always giving him attention and caring daily for his needs. I care for my pets at home by making sure they’re fed and watered regularly, and taken outside regularly, as well as giving them attention.

About: Growing up I was always surrounded by dogs and cats. I have pet sit for many of my friends and families and have worked with many different dogs breeds, including chihuahuas, golden retrievers, huskies, vizslas, and belgian malinois. It’s important to me to learn about their temperament, behavior, and health conditions so I can keep them happy and healthy, and notice if something is off. While taking dogs for walks I ensure a safe distance between other dogs and avoid interactions with them. I am vigilant about body language and any surroundings that could be harmful to a dog such as things on the ground, dangerous plants, heat, or harsh walking surfaces. When caring for someone’s pet in their home I ensure clear communication about their boundaries and expectations. I make sure every animal gets the right amount of food and medication, has a comfortable space, and that they get plenty of love. If I am unsure about something, I will always reach out to check in to ensure your pet is getting it’s proper care.
