About: I’m a teacher who loves to take care of pets in his spare time. I can walk your dog, play with your dog or cat, take care of your cats needs and can house sit as needed. I am free on Thursdays and Fridays as far as week days go. I also can work on the weekend too. I just need notice so that I can accommodate. About: Hey there! I’ve been around and caring for animals for most of my life and have hands-on experience with dogs and cats . I currently work in veterinary medicine, so I’m comfortable caring for animals with different needs, recognizing changes in behavior, and making sure pets are safe and comfortable. I have experience with puppies, senior pets, large and strong dogs. I’m comfortable handling animals that need extra patience, space, and understanding. I’m reliable, attentive, and genuinely love spending time with animals, whether that means walks, playtime, cuddles, feeding, or just keeping them company while you’re away! I own and operate my own farrier business, so I may occasionally be away for a couple of hours during the day while I’m working with horses. I’ll always discuss this with you beforehand to make sure your pet is comfortable being left alone for a few hours. If they aren’t, no worries at all! I can also schedule my farrier work around whatever your pet may need. Outside of work, I’ll have plenty of time for walks, playtime, attention, and care. I want every pet in my care to feel safe, comfortable, and at home. I have years of hands-on experience with animals and am comfortable with dogs, cats, horses, and small animals, including nervous or reactive pets. I’ll follow your instructions and keep your pet’s normal routine as consistent as possible so they feel comfortable and secure while you’re away. I’ll always communicate with you if anything comes up and make sure your pet gets the same care and attention they’re used to.

About: I’ve had pets since I was born. I can care for cats and dogs. I personally have a 110 lb dog, so giant dogs don’t bother me. I’ve spent two weeks house sitting for family friends before to care for there couple labs. I’m currently in college part time with online classes, I have tons of flexibility with my time. I can wake up early to walk your pets, since how hot it has been lately. I have a 110 lb Pitt-bull mastiff mix that I walk daily, and care since she is my fur baby. I understand how people will react to big dogs on walks and I have the ability to control a big dog is startled or provoked.

About: I’ve had my own animals and have helped friends and family by pet sitting or even going to just walk them or feed them. I have animals in my household and i love having them around me when i’m at home. I’m currently self employed, my schedule is open and i am available anytime if i am needed. Ruby did an amazing job! I have an elderly cat that takes meds 2x a day and frequently has accidents, and a boy cat that’s crazy for attention and Ruby tended to them both amazingly. If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet .
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
