About: I have taken care of dogs my whole life -- both my own dogs and as the go-to sitter for friends, family, colleagues, and neighbors. Across my extensive time caring for dogs, I have gained experience with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I am particularly good with nervous or timid dogs, and I am very comfortable with dogs who have special medical needs. Last year I had to say goodbye to my own greatly beloved dog after two years of very intense cancer care. While I am not ready for a new dog of my own yet, I am eager to shower other people's dogs with affection and care. I have a very flexible schedule and am available for dog care most days. On days listed as available, I am able to spend almost all of the time at home with the dog(s). I do not currently have any other animals in the home, and your dog will receive my full attention! I have a wide variety of dog beds for them to try out and toys for them to play with.

I’m committed to creating a safe and enjoyable environment for your furry family member. My partner and I both work from home full time, so we the dogs are rarely left alone! We take our frenchie luna (friendly & fixed) on 3+ walks a day, so being bored is a rarity in our home. We live in an apartment with a large balcony, so the dogs can sunbathe! We walk our dogs through the Hillcrest neighborhood that has lots of grass for them to do their biz. We do REQUIRE that your dog has their own crate due to past experiences.

Jacob was truly the best person that has ever taken care of my dogs. They are both older Jack Russells and the one is partially blind. Jacob accommodated my husband and I in every possible way. We were staying at L’auberge hotel and we went to the Del Mar racecourse. He picked the dogs up on schedule and delivered them in perfect condition. When they saw me, they weren’t really very excited, which is indicative of how happy they were. Della was great with our dogs (husky and 1 year old akita/husky/german shepard mix.) Our dog Philip is usually nervous with new people but Della made him feel really comfortable and he was super playful with her. Della sent pictures of the dogs and took them on a nice walk.

I’m so happy I found him! He works from home so he spent a ton of time with my baby. I work variable shifts at the hospital so he was really flexible about boarding him over night and the pickup/drop off times to accommodate my graveyard. He FaceTimed me so I could say goodnight to my baby and sent me lots of pics of their adventure. HIGHLY recommend!!!
