“Kyle came to pick up Flapjacks already prepared with treats for their walk. He was more than willing to use my clicker and provide treats to reinforce her training. He sent me lots of pictures of her on their walk and stopping to enjoy a stick. One half hour walk and she slept the rest of the afternoon and allowed me to work. I appreciated how friendly Kyle was and his willingness to continue my training with my pup on her walk. I would definitely recommend!”

About: Passionate and reliable dog lover with a love for providing attentive care. Dedicated to ensuring your furry friends feel safe, happy, and loved while you're away! I have a fur baby of my own and have the biggest heart for animals! I’m currently working as a local realtor so am only gone from home for about 1-2 hours a day, so I am mostly available M-THUR any time😊 In my home, your dog will receive personalized care tailored to their needs, including ample playtime, walks, and cozy rest in a comfortable crate when needed. I ensure a safe and nurturing environment where your pet feels secure and cherished throughout their stay!

About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of pets for neighbors and family members since I was little. Additionally, I have personally had cats as family since the age of 14! Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I’m available to care for your fur baby in the mornings, during my lunch hour, and in the evenings—as well as anytime on weekends. I work in Irving, so I’m close enough to stop by midday if your pet needs a walk, feeding, or a little extra attention. I’m committed to making sure your pet feels cared for and comforted throughout the day. I live in a pet-friendly apartment building near the Katy Trail, which is perfect for frequent and enriching walks if your dog stays with me. Whether your pet is staying at my place or I’m caring for them in your home, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for. I always strive to follow your pet’s routine as closely as possible to keep them happy and comfortable—treating them with the same love and attention you do.

“Mary is wonderful! I instantly had a sense of relief when I met her at our meet and greet! Nash absolutely loved her and she was incredible with communication, pictures, telling me about their walk, and gave so much more love to him beyond just walking! I will use Mary again and HIGHLY recommend her to anyone who’s hesitant about pet sitting or walking with not knowing the person, Mary will instantly take that weight of your shoulder. My baby was is such great hands!!”

“Carrin was so awesome taking my pup for a walk! She took so many pictures and gave me detailed information on how it went! She is very kind and I can tell she treats all of her clients as her own pets! Looking forward to booking with her again!”

“McKenzie is awesome. She showed up on time, communicated exceptionally well and she was amazing with our puppers. This was our first time using Rover, and she made our experience a great one! We highly recommend McKenzie!”

About: Growing up on a farm, I was around all kinds of animals and helped care for them. I’ve raised cats on my own for 15 years and often help my friends with their cats and dogs when they are away from home. I work full-time but have the flexibility to work remotely and make my own schedule outside of a couple of days when I’m in the office. Most of the time, I’ll be unavailable on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Understanding that every pet is different, I like to learn more about the pet from the owner and have one-on-one time with the animal to make sure we’re both comfortable with each other. Our trust and safety is my number one priority.

About: I have had experience caring for both cats and dogs of all different ages and sizes! I have experience owning a Great Dane, Lab, Lab mix, and cats. I also currently volunteer at Dallas Animal Services, which has helped me further develop pet safety awareness and comfort with different personalities! Whether your pet is playful, shy, energetic, or cuddly, they’ll be in gentle, reliable hands with me. As a lifelong pet owner, I understand how much trust it takes to let someone care for your furry family member. That’s why I treat every cat and dog like my own—with patience, kindness, and respect. You can feel at ease knowing your pet is safe, loved, and truly seen while you’re away. As a nurse, my work schedule isn’t the typical 9–5, which means I’m often available at random times during the day and week. That flexibility lets me fit in pet care when others might not be available, whether it’s midday walks, evening visits, or daytime company for your pets. Caring for others is what I do, and I’m just as happy to give that attention to furry friends as I am to my patients! I stick to your pet’s normal routine so they feel right at home (feeding, walks, playtime, and lots of love). I always make sure they’re safe, comfy, and happy, and I’ll send you updates so you can see how they’re doing while you’re away. I also understand that pet sitting or even just spending time with your pet can be very personal and I respect any rules or requests that are made to make everyone as comfortable and happy as possible!

“Jerri is an awesome walker. She is professional and right on time every day she is scheduled to walk my dog. I couldn't ask for a better, more trustworthy person to walk my pup.”

About: I grew up with cats, but have taken care of dogs of my best friends and neighbours. Have also volunteered at local shelters and trained by them. I’m currently working full-time, so I will be able to hang out with your best friend after work hours and on weekends! I have a hybrid work schedule so I can also flex my schedule to visit your pet during the day too. Would love to spend time and get to know your pet! I can play games with them, feed, clean, take them on a walk, or just keep company! Whatever you would like me to do to keep your best friend happy!

“Sasha was a great find here on Rover! Our pup can be wary of "strangers" but he immediately warmed up to Sasha, which is something I hadn't seen him do before (he usually takes at least a bit of convincing lol). Sasha messages me to let me know when she's arrived, how their walk is going, let's me know she's got him situated, and then finally that she's heading out for the day. Awesome communication! I like seeing my pup's goofy face pop up on my phone midday during their visit. I have no doubt that he is loved on, played with, and fed when we can't make it home ourselves, and it's such a huge weight lifted. Can't recommend Sasha enough!!”

“Clover was great! She arrives on time and let my pup sniff around and get to know her before she tried to pet her. Ollie seemed very comfortable and was happy when he came back from is walk!”

About: I have owned dogs since I was 7 years old, now being 19. I had to learn all of the basics of caring for an animal and have been doing so for most of my life. For over 5 years, I have consistently cared for my neighbors' dogs when they are out of town and have gained the trust of those around me with their animals. I am a student of the University of Washington, at home for the summer. I have loads of free time to go out to your home and provide whatever your pet may need. This can be from early morning to late afternoon, or whatever fits your schedule. At home, I have two charismatic dogs who I love. I have a busy family who wouldn't be able to fit another dog in the home, but I have all the time necessary to care for your pet. I can feed, walk, play with, and care for your pet as long as needed.

About: I’ve been taking care of pets for about 5 years now. I’ve always watched my friends pets while they’re out of town. I would love to take care of your fur baby too. I work from home and go into the office 1-2x a week. I can be with you pet most the time during the day. I live at a very safe neighborhood with sides walks. I live very close to a trail and a park. I’m right off Katy trail. I can take your pet on walks. My apartment complex had turf and grassy area where your pet can go use the bathroom.

About: My whole life, my family has owned many pets ranging from dogs to snakes! I’ve always been around all kinds of animals because of my dads passion for them - which has transferred down to me! My favorite of all animals he’s cared for though has always been dogs. Big or small, they are balls of positive energy and love that make me so happy to be around. Now that I live with just my mom, she’s more of a cat person, so I haven’t been able to enjoy some dog time. I’m wanting to start helping myself, and my community by walking lovely peoples dogs for them! It gives me the opportunity to love and care for a dog, and their owner some help 😁 My days are pretty free! I have a part time job at a coffee shop, where my hours switch around, but other than that I am flexible and can make a lot work. I love on my own animals probably more than the average person should, but I believe these sweet creatures deserve everything. Even if they’re my personal pets or not, I will treat them all with love and respect.
