About: Hi! I’m transitioning my career (from working in the entertainment industry) into a focus on pet care after a lifetime of loving and living with dogs. For the past 30 years, dogs have been an essential part of my daily life and currently, I share my home with a sweet senior pug who gets physical therapy weekly. Their comfort, health, and happiness are always my top priority. I have much experience dealing with their different ailments. Over the years, I’ve cared for friends’ dogs and cats, and I’ve found true joy in giving them the attention and affection they deserve. I've also received care from a Rover sitter for my own dog for 2 years. I know how uneasy it can be contacting a stranger. I’m detail-oriented, highly safety-conscious, and most importantly reliable and trustworthy. When your fur baby is with me, you can feel completely at ease. I’m currently welcoming just a few clients for repeated in-home daycare to ensure each dog gets plenty of love and individualized care. My home is senior-dog friendly with yoga mats and ramps/soft pet steps, a fenced-in yard, and a calm, quiet environment. I am able to provide boarding for your pup if you are going out of town. My home is designed with senior dogs in mind, fully fenced yard for safe outdoor time, and the inside is mobility friendly with yoga mats, dog ramps, and stairs to help pups get around comfortably and safely. I make it a priority to discourage jumping off furniture to protect their joints. My own senior pug is sweet, social, and would love to make some gentle new friends. About: Growing up on a farm, I’ve always been a passionate animal lover who believes each and every one deserves a loving home and the best life possible. I have over 20 years of experience caring for both dogs and cats (among many other animals!) and have taken pet safety and CPR instruction. I also have some experience volunteering with animal rescue, rehabilitation, and fostering. As someone who has owned and cared for senior dogs with medical issues I have a special place in my heart for any animals with special needs. I also have experience with puppies and kittens, and have house trained both. I work from home with a flexible schedule and our house has a good sized fenced in yard for potty breaks so can take them out as often as needed and dogs will rarely be left unattended. I enjoy long walks and hikes, and live close to a park, so every dog under my care who loves walks will enjoy long ones every day. I work from home with a flexible schedule and can generally work around your needs for pick up and drop off. Walks and play time are already a regular part of my schedule with my own pups and would love to include yours too! Your pet’s safety is my number one priority whether they are boarding in my home, or I’m watching them in yours. As someone who has anxiety when my furbabies are being watched by someone, I know how hard being away from them is and strive to give you daily checks ins, or pet camera greetings, so you can see how your pet is doing. I have a fenced in yard that’s extremely secure, and your pets will never be alone out there. I do require a meet and greet so I can learn how to best care for your pet’s individual needs. Above all, my goal is to ensure your pet returns to you happy and safe after a fun vacation.

About: Dogs have been a constant my entire life. I've always owned or been a caretaker to them. I truly prefer their company to humans! Experience administering medications to senior dogs. I work in film and television and it has been terribly slow this year. Going to try this for the summer to see if it's a good fit. I will be home with your pooch all day most days. They'll have access to the fenced yard if I need to run to the store. I have an adorable house with two fenced outdoor areas your pooch will be free to explore. Also live in a great walking neighborhood close to some wonderful trails if your dog is into hiking. Couch potatoes welcome, too!

About: I discovered my love for dogs (relatively) later in life, when my parents adopted a sweet middle-aged mutt when I went to college! Since then, I have adored dogs and in addition to caring for my family dog on school breaks I’ve been petsitting (in my home and others’) for friends and friends of friends over the past few years. I enjoy getting to know the personality of each animal and catering to it, whether that means long walks or long cuddle sessions on the couch. I love all dogs, but due to a bad personal experience with a pit bull, I prefer to work with other breeds. I’m a freelance writer and in between jobs I am at home and available to care for your pet on whatever schedule you prefer. My only recurring conflicts are comedy shows I perform in at night but they rarely go longer than 2 hours. I live in an ADU that is a tiny home so dogs on the smaller side will be more comfortable there. I have room for a crate but sleep in a bunk bed, so if your dog prefers sleeping with a person, a dog I can comfortably lift in and out may be better (I’ve done it before with a Cavapoo). In a client’s home any size of dog is fine, I just want to know the house rules for both me and the dog to follow and if it’s a long sit check out the space beforehand.

About: Offering dog boarding at my home at Highland Park in Monterey Hills Friday through Sunday. I have a 3yr. old yellow Labrador named Bakabon who enjoys the company too; if your pup or pups enjoy spending time with other dogs as well... I recently took care of a friends 2 dogs for a few weeks over the holidays and really enjoyed the extra company and experience. My home has ample room for dogs as well as a great front and back outdoor patio with a large back yard for them to enjoy that is all secure and fenced in. I know you have options of many brick and mortar dog boarding places but I believe and I would want our beloved Bakabon to have a more hands on experience when my family is out of town. Your dog/dogs must be house and potty trained also we will need them to have current vaccinations/shots with documentation. About: I have been a dog owner and pet sitter since I was a teenager. I speak dog pretty effectively and always have a lap open for dog cuddles. I am a designer who works from home. I utilize breaks to take dogs out and give my eyes a break from the computer! I also like going on small dog hikes to give the little guys a little extra exercise.
