About: Known to be dependable, trustworthy, and caring, I've been a regular dog sitter/walker for 8+ years and cared for family pets my whole life. Most of the dogs have been higher needs with anxiety, special diets, medicine, routines, etc. I've even watched a Macaw! My goal is to keep your dog in their regular schedule with just as much care as you would typically provide. I'm training for a trail race and would love some canine companions on the trails! You can expect regular updates from me so you know your pet is being well taken care of! Flexible remote job, looking to book a few walks or visits (love pets & cuddles!) during the day to help dogs who are home for large chunks of time and need a break and/or some exercise! Dogs often feel more comfortable at their own house and that is what I prefer to offer. I have a cute doggie of my own at my home and can't accept boarding requests.

About: I have a long history of both owning and caring for dogs. To me, a fur baby is family and any pet left under my care are treated with the same love and affection as I would with my own. I am very active and love taking pups for any length of walk or park time that they need or enjoy. I am with your babies all day and I treat them like they are my own. I provide lots of love, snuggles, play time, and am happy to give them as much (or little) attention as they need. While I love to spoil our fur friends, I adhere to your instructions, always, and can provide as many updates and photos of your pup as you'd like. We have a fully fenced large backyard (for Portland) and I supervise all furry friends outside when the weather is cooperating. We have a fenced dog run that is lit, with dog door access for your babies if they need to relieve themselves immediately. Dogs are allowed on our furniture and in the bed during the day for snuggles. In a clients home, I follow every instruction left for care of your fur baby and try to leave all homes better than I left. I will never leave your dog in any state other calm and relaxed. I take great care to ensure that your property is secured when I leave and can follow any instructions for key care, lockbox codes, etc. including key pick-up and drop-off.

About: One of my passions in life is pets and caring for them. As a graduate from Carrington College in veterinary assisting I learned valuable skills such as understanding animal behavior, CPR, nail trims and administering medications. I have had dogs, cats, rabbits, hampsters, lizards, fish, frogs and feel comfortable with nearly any type of pet. What I bring to pet care is a strong connection to animals, I feel a sense of responsibility and need to care for them and be their new best friend. I will always talk to pets & their owners when I see them on a bus, walking down the street, or in an outside restaurant. I am vegan, as I feel that all animals should be treated well. OUTSIDE REVIEWS Heather took care of my young and active miniature Australian Labradoodle Maggie for 3 nights. She stayed at my home and did an amazing job. I came home to a calm and happy dog and my house was just as I left it . Maggie loved her and she loved Maggie. I felt 100 % confident that she was in good hands. She has experience with animals, loves them and has even had vet tech training in the past. Previously, when I left Maggie with a sitter for 3 days she didn’t eat and lost a pound, but with Heather she was just as I left her. I was delighted. Heather gets 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ 🌟 I am free just about any time and duration, and can go anywhere that Tri-Met can take me if it's an hour or less travel time. I will take your dog to a park if it's within walking distance, or walk around the neighborhood, or play/run around in the yard or house as well.

About: I’ve had all types of animals for most of my life. I currently have three dogs, two cats and two fish tanks between my partner and I. I love animals and have always had a special sense with them. My schedule is kind of odd. I work on Monday afternoons and I am a mobile bartender and my schedule for that is always changing. I am a great communicator though! I have a fenced yard and my dogs are extremely socialized. I have worked hard to keep them friendly and happy fur babies.i am competent and can keep multiple dogs under control on the leash or safely pass other dogs without reaction. I also have references if requested. I love everyone’s animal with the respect that they deserve.

About: My family always had animals growing up dogs, cats, chickens, and the occasional horse. Except for a couple years in college, I have always had a pet. I don’t wanna choose between cats and dogs. I love them both. I know all of the dogs in our neighborhood by name. And I usually am hanging out with your pet if you invited me over for a barbecue. I’m a substitute teacher so I have summers free and a lot of flexibility with my schedule. I have very few things scheduled for this year. It’s your home and your pets, and I will be completely and utterly respectful of your property and any rules you have in place or procedures that you would like followed.
