“Jeffrey is great with our dog Apollo! He’s always very punctual and has a great walk with our very excited German Shepherd. Definitely would recommend!”

“Chloe was excellent! She was detailed, timely and sent some great photos and videos of our pup!”

About: Hello! My name is Katherine and my experience with animals has ranged from volunteering to in home sitting. I am so excited to offer my services and meet your furry friends. Not only do I love meeting new breeds, but I care about their health and wellbeing. My weekly visits to my local animal shelter gives me a chance to showcase my passion for helping dogs who lost their homes. My volunteer experience includes walking, feeding, and caring for various breeds of all sizes! These visits have made me familiar with a dog’s body language that may signal how they are feeling. We meet many new dogs each week that are new to this environment and may be very nervous and timid. This also has given me a chance to learn how I can gain a dog’s trust with friendly mannerisms. I can’t wait to get started on Rover and meet your furry little friends! I have recently graduated with a bachelors degree from college and am looking for opportunities to spend time with animals. Currently, I have a part-time job and have lots of time to care for and visit any animals needing company throughout the week. My dog at home gets daily walks and has a runner in my backyard for when she needs to go outside. I often give her treats when she is being a good girl and notice if she needs to use the bathroom outside. At my local shelter, I am able to feed large and small dogs and leash dogs who are unfamiliar with me. I tend to make sure my posture and manners are friendly with all the pups! I also make sure to notice when a dog needs praising and do not ignore their good behavior!

“She was awesomely friendly with my dog and came at the last minute. I really appreciate you. Thank you for me in teddy bear.”

“Ben has been great with our new puppy! He’s very patient, and was able to take the time to get our puppy to warm up to him. He’s also very punctual and professional. We’ll defiantly be using Ben in the future!”

About: I have been taking care of pets for friends and family for the last 5 years and it’s always been a welcome opportunity as I was never allowed to have pets growing up. I love nature so long dog walks are never boring. I also have experience petsitting so I’ll make sure your pet is never lonely. I am able to stay with your pet all day and on weekends as well. The longest I would be out is 4 hours, but that would be very intermittent. I’m respectful of clients’ homes and I want the pet to be as comfortable as possible. If the pet makes a mess I will be sure to clean it as soon as possible and the return the place to how it looked before if not cleaner.

About: I’m available for home visits with dogs and cats, dog walking, and occasional house sitting. I have two wonderful dogs and grew up with cats—I truly adore animals and love spending time with them! I can take your pets for walks or jogs, change litter, feed them, and give them plenty of care and attention. I’m reliable, friendly, communicative, and very responsive. As a Berkeley Law student, I have a relatively flexible schedule that allows me to watch pets on both weekdays and weekends, in the mornings, afternoons, or evenings. I provide attentive, loving care—feeding, walking or running with dogs, changing kitty litter or picking up after dogs, and ensuring pets feel safe, comfortable, and happy in their familiar environment.

“Bonnie did a great job introducing our new puppy to the neighborhood. She fed, watered, and walked him each day, right on time. I love the pics! They helped put this new fur mama's mind at ease. We look forward to the next vacation week to hire Bonnie again.”

“I can’t speak highly enough about what an amazing job Rachael did for us. I would absolutely recommend her and higher her again! Give her a try you won’t be disappointed!”

“I’m so glad I found Jon. He clearly loves animals and was prompt and shared pics during his initial couple of visits. I will definitely use him again.”

“Jessica was incredible! Our dogs loved her and we can't wait to have her come back when we need more help. :)”

About: We are a trio (Riven, Matt, Jason) that have mostly work from home schedules. We have individual Rover verified profiles, and this one is Rivens. I have lived with cats, dogs, and animals of all sorts my whole life. After growing up on a farm and being a founding member of the local 4H Club, my love for animals continued to fostering through rescues, volunteering, and my own pets such as my now passed 17 year cat named Moya, whom I had had since she was a few months old. For dogs, I am very active, and will love taking your furry family on long trails, swims, or dog parks! We around a lot of dogs over the course of the week, so we are unable to on any dogs that will not do well with others for more than an over night. If you have feline family, I am happy to play with crinkle balls, laser pointers, or be a lap as needed. For boarding, my Matt and Jason (also on Rover) and myself are home 95% of the day and can usually accommodate most pick up or drop off time, frequent potty breaks, and walks. For drop in visits we are avaliable to work in the Shirely and immediately surounding area. We have some flexibility with the schedule that we can work out if you're interested! We offer lots of human and other dog socialization in our home. We have people and dogs visitors in home as well as on walks to parks and rivers.

“Ella was so wonderful with Mabel, who is still a puppy. She was able to watch her for an hour for me while I was at the dentist and greatly appreciated the support! They had a great time playing and look forward to their next visit! :)”

About: Hi, I’m Shara! I’m in grad school to be a Nurse Midwife, and love going on walk breaks… so I’m on the search for a walking budding (hopefully with your furry friend). I’ve spent time dog sitting and doing overnight stays, and I enjoy getting outside for walks, playtime, and tail wags. Whether your young pup is full of energy or your older pup likes slow walks under the shade, I’m happy to match their pace (and personality!). With my caregiving background, I’m comfortable handling any medications or special care needs your dog might have. If you have any house rules/training you would like me to maintain, then I’d love to enforce them. It’s important to trust the person caring for your pet, and I take that responsibility seriously, please let me know how I can best take care of your pet and have fun along the way! I’m in grad school now and taking online classes for the summer, that means my hours are very flexible as I’ve stopped working my nursing job full time. If given enough notice I can make myself available for boarding or sitting, because having a furry study buddy makes things better! In my home, we do not have a fence but a big backyard on almost an acre of land. My family and I love being outside and taking our daily walks. We’ve taken care of family friends pets at our home, and now expanding to Rover.

About: I have watched puppies from 9 months, to adult/senior dogs that are up to 10-14 years. I love all types of dogs, and willing to help train. One of my amazing traits is patience with gaining trust with a scared or shy dog. I did go to Costa Rica and I volunteered with stray dogs who needed help healing and getting back on their paws. I have given medication by mouth, and of course used the “hide the medication in food” technique. (One of my reviews was made by me and I apologize for that, I was trying to test out the app and can’t delete!!🐾) I take care of my cat, as well as I have worked at multiple doggy daycares, so I have a background in watching over dogs who board (sleepover at the facility) and take care of them. Professionally for 5 years, but I have grown up with animals. In my clients home, I always ask for a “schedule” and tend to need them to be in contact with me at most times of the day if needed. I send photos if requested, and will clean, get mail, etc, if needed as well.

“Oso looks so happy after his walk. Thank you!”

“Zachary is a perfect match for my mini schnauzer Toby. He was very patient and let him sniff everything he wanted to. I will definitely book him again thank you”

About: I owned a large Chesapeake Bay retriever growing up. Since then we have owned 4 cats. I also watch my daughter's lab mix. I love pets and am doing this for enjoyment. We currently are petless at home. I work part time from home. My schedule is somewhat flexible. I would like to walk dogs or check cats a few times each week or on an occasional basis to cover your vacations. I dont plan to watch pets at my house until I know them better. I won't be performing any overnight care in the client's home. John

About: I have a 14 year old German Shorthaired Pointer that I adopted at 8 years old. He is so sweet and full of energy but slowing down now. With him I've learned to be very patient, how to handle anxiety in a dog, walk often, successful medicine tactics, and senior care. Dogs make life much more interesting and deserve loving care, I truly enjoy their presence. We used to have a very loving Chocolate Lab that passed away in Sept 2024. He is greatly missed to this day. I have summers off and lots of flexibility in my schedule when I am home. I also enjoy staying active, so going on walks is a very fun aspect of dogs I enjoy with them. But, I also love to travel which is why I am doing this extra work to save for more trips, so sometimes, my schedule is not as open. My dog is very taken care of, he is kept clean, feed properly, and gets lots of snuggles. I use a leash when we are out with other dogs, but he is also vocally trained well and doesn't leave the yard. He has lots of pet beds around the house and really could be considered spoiled! LOL

About: I have taken care of my personal dogs since I was a little girl and have loved caring for other people’s dogs for the last four years - I have cared for all types of dogs (big and small) and newborn puppies to seniors! I am energetic and always down for a walk or a cuddle! I am a full time nurse but I have plenty of free time and days off to care for your pup! My schedule varies but depending on the week I am off week days and weekends! I am very organized and great with direction / communication so I can help you and your dog in anyway that you need at your home!
