“Would not hesitate to bring our pup to Briana, ever. She takes good care of him and sends updates along the way to put your mind at ease. Highly recommend. Thanks Briana!”

“Melissa and her family were amazing hosts for our dog. Koe loves to be busy and this was the perfect house for him. We got lots of pictures and updates throughout the weekend and know he had a great time getting lots of activity, attention and love. We will definitely be rebooking!”

“I am so thrilled to have found Judy!! I've had Shilo stay with Judy and her husband a few times now and I couldn't be happier. Shilo loves to run and the large fenced in backyard is perfect. Judy's dog, Rosie is sweet and welcoming. The updates and photos are great and relieves any worry or stress that I may have had!!! When it comes time for pick up, although Shilo appears to be happy to see me she also seems quite content to stay with judy....which is a really good sign!!”

“Philip and Chelsea were amazing with our dog Cooper! We were a little nervous, since this was Cooper’s first time away from us. Though Cooper was nervous at first he warmed right up to Philip and Chelsea and the other dogs that were there. We loved the pictures and updates we got about Cooper’s visit. I highly recommend having Philip and Chelsea watch your dog. They are great with dogs, have an amazing space for the dogs to play and take such good care of them. I will be booking them again whenever I need someone to watch Cooper while we are gone.”

“Yvonne and her family took fantastic care of our dog while we were out of town for a week. We received regular frequent updates with pictures that gave us peace of mind. Highly recommend!”

“Scooby loves staying with Victoria and her family - when I dropped him off he was so excited and pulling on his leash, couldn’t wait to get to the front door to see his friends! She takes great care of him and I always feel at ease while he’s there.”

“Peter was an amazing host! Our pup was very well taken care of. We received pictures throughout the week giving updates on how she was doing. She came back home happy which hasn't always been the case with boarding her. Will absolutely use Peter again in the future. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a loving home for their pet!”

“Mliss was amazing! The pre-stay meeting went great. Throughout the stay, Mliss sent many updates and pictures. Looks like Bella had a great time. Would highly recommend.”

“Paul took care of Zin so well. I got pictures and/or videos every day, along with comments on how Zin was doing. An extra touch was that Paul returned all the food containers washed and stacked in the carrier they came in.”

“I was very nervous leaving Rox with a “stranger” met w Pilar and she put me at ease. She provided plenty of pictures and updates while we were away and that put me at ease. If the chance to go away again occurs and she is available I would definitely reach out to her. She treated Rox like the princess she is, I am very thankful for her kindness and understanding.”

“Excellent experience. Sara seemed professional, friendly, and very on top of things. She stayed in close touch about our little guy, and Kiwi seemed in good spirits both during his visit and after. I'd also specifically flag her location as a bonus—the house has a good yard and it's on a small, low-traffic side street, which always makes me feel better.”

“Nancy took amazing care of our dogs for almost 2 weeks while we were away in Europe. She communicated to us daily with photos to match her captions, letting us know they were doing well (they are old and not in the best of health). We were so grateful she could take them a month before we were to leave (we had a family emergency so needed a back up plan) especially during the holiday season! She was so thoughtful to help us out and go to the store when we neglected to pack their doggie treats. We highly recommend Nancy - she treated our dogs as if they were her own! ❤️”

“5 stars! My puppy Cora had a lot of fun with Adreana and with her dog Milo. Cora even had a treat at the end of her stay, felt comfortable leaving my dog with Adreana. Thanks!”

“Angelina was fantastic! She took great care of Sammy, and sent us lots of photos while we were away. Excellent communication and very easy to work with. I would absolutely ask Angelina to watch Sammy again!! Thank you!”

Every sitter on Rover has their own rhythm and routine, but most will follow the flow that keeps your dog happiest. Sitters can give meals on your dog's regular schedule, provide a comfortable place for sleep, and plenty of one-on-one attention.
92% of Harvard sitters also include daily walks in the neighborhood during dog boarding stays. You can also request photo and message updates throughout the stay so you can see which Harvard landmarks or neighborhoods your dog is enjoying.
If your dog is a little shy, consider booking a one-night trial stay! This practice run can boost your and your dog’s confidence before your trip.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Harvard home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Harvard.
Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Harvard sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
