“Excellent experience. Sara seemed professional, friendly, and very on top of things. She stayed in close touch about our little guy, and Kiwi seemed in good spirits both during his visit and after. I'd also specifically flag her location as a bonus—the house has a good yard and it's on a small, low-traffic side street, which always makes me feel better.”

“Was very communicative and great with my dog. Took blue on multiple runs and hour long walks, which really helps her when she’s feeling anxious away from home. Would definitely recommend.”

“Matt is absolutely amazing. He really took care of my dog during the 40 days we were away. He sent pics and videos daily and he's really responsive to questions and requests. My dog had a good time with Matt. I would definitely recommend Matt to anyone who needs boarding service.”

About: I've owned and cared for animals since high school. In addition to dogs and cats, I've owned horses since I was 16. I have been\am a foster parent for the Animal Rescue League of Boston since 2020. I'm a former puppy foster for service dogs and participated with early puppy training. I have carried those skills over to training other foster puppies and my personal dog. I have a medical background (EMT) and my daughter is a Vet Tech so I am very comfortable working with animals with medical needs and will follow any required medical plan. In addition to dogs and cats, I'd love to meet\care for your backyard farm animals; horses, pot-bellied pigs, chickens, goats, sheep, etc. I have experience with some of these animals through ownership and fostering opportunities. I'm open to meeting and learning about new friends. We currently have 4 dogs, 4 cats, and 2 horses in our home. All our animals are our babies and I'll care for yours as if they were my own. I'm currently unemployed so I'll have plenty of time to spend with your pets. I'm available for petsitting any day of the week and can work around any personal appointments. Boarding in my home is restricted to cats or other small animals. Puppies (under 1 year) may be accomodated, no adult dogs. For cats; we have a dedicated "cat room" to keep your pet separated from our pets. The room has a screen door so they don't feel locked away and can be part of our household while remaining safe. I will follow your pet care plan while in your home. For Puppies; all dogs are fed separately to avoid food aggression situations. All puppies will be crated for meals and sleeping overnight. If your puppy is not crate trained, I will work with them to ensure they are comfortable and not afraid. I can support your potty training schedule to maintain consistency.
“We left our dog with Alison twice and would definitely have her stay again. She was responsive and kept us updated. Would highly recommend and look forward to having her watch our dog again soon.”

“Angelina was fantastic! She took great care of Sammy, and sent us lots of photos while we were away. Excellent communication and very easy to work with. I would absolutely ask Angelina to watch Sammy again!! Thank you!”

“I am so thrilled to have found Judy!! I've had Shilo stay with Judy and her husband a few times now and I couldn't be happier. Shilo loves to run and the large fenced in backyard is perfect. Judy's dog, Rosie is sweet and welcoming. The updates and photos are great and relieves any worry or stress that I may have had!!! When it comes time for pick up, although Shilo appears to be happy to see me she also seems quite content to stay with judy....which is a really good sign!!”

About: I've had numerous variety of pets my whole life, Worked in pet retail for a time, and genuinely feel I understand animals more than people sometimes. Currently I'm between more traditional 9-5 employment, so I have the time and space to give the care needed for the little (or big) ones. I am open to discussing the individual needs of every client, but the basics of walking, feeding, just plain old attention are well within my capacity. Happy to help facilitate any training that is being done as well.
“Highly recommend!!! We’ve had Phillip watch Yoshi a few times now. This time our flight got delayed & Phillip was kind enough to let him stay an extra night on short notice. Yoshi always come back exhausted. Thank you so much!!!”

“Liza was amazing with our dog! He boarded at her house for a week while we were on vacation and she treated him like family! She sent pictures and updates everyday, and our dog loved playing in her fenced in yard. We will definitely book Liza again!”

“Robert and family were amazing with our two Border Collies, Pace and Mollie. Quite literally, Mollie tried to get back into their house she was having so much fun. We will definitely leave Mollie and Pace with Robert when we travel again! Thanks so much for taking great care of them. ”

“My dog stayed with Eden for 4 nights and came home happy and relaxed, so I know he had a good time and felt comfortable there. He had walks and a good amount of time sitting outside on the deck with Eden's pets, feeling like part of the pack. In the evenings, he was allowed to stake out a place on the couch. Eden and her family are very friendly to deal with and accommodating to my requests. She asked me all the right questions to get to know my dog's habits and she sent pictures. I felt very comfortable leaving my dog there and will definitely be going back again! Highly recommended!”

“Kourtney is a kind and a knowledgeable dog sitter. When I overseas for almost a month, my high energy dog was boarded in her place. She kept me posted and sent pictures. I could tell how much my dog got her attentions and love. She made my absence very easy and pleasant to my very sensitive rescued dog. I highly recommend Kourtney to you when you need help. Thank you very much, Kourtney and your husband!”

“Amanda was awesome with my 6 month old puppy! She is friendly, welcoming, and provided a safe and loving atmosphere for my puppy while I was away. She was responsive when I texted to see how my dog was doing, and sent pictures. Amanda really put me at ease. Her sons were great with my puppy too! They loved playing with her in the yard, and my puppy thoroughly enjoyed her time with them. My puppy was happy and excited from all the fun and activities when I picked her up! I would definitely recommend Amanda as a responsible and nurturing dog sitter for anyone looking for care for their precious pup. We would definitely use her again!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Ayer
Dolly had a blast. She didn't mind being dropped off at all. When I picked her up, she was her normal, delightful self. Dolly had loads of fun playing in the big fenced-in backyard. Dolly will be returning to Brian's again in the future. 100% would highly recommend for your fur-baby to stay with Brian! :)

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
