“Joy did a fabulous job taking care of our pets and our home. She communicated daily and sent photos. Our cats and dog were very happy and looked great when we returned home. Joy also took immaculate care of our home, which we truly appreciated. We will definitely ask Joy to come again in the future.”

“Brittany is simply AMAZING! Just before our trip our big boy was diagnosed with a CCL injury so we had to adjust his care. With one highly energetic dog and the other with a lane leg, that can be challenging. The boys were in great hands with her and she kept me updated on any issues he was having. Additionally she took great care for our home. I can’t speak highly enough about how great she is!”

“Megan did an awesome job taking care of our cat and dog for the weekend. She was a great communicator with us and home and pets looked perfect when we came home! Will love to use her again in the future.”

“Absolutely amazing ! It was a last minute booking as she accepted it even if there were only few hours in advance notice. She was incredible with my dog which unfortunately had an upset stomach that evening too. Extremely kind and caring. It was our first time leaving the puppy in someone’ else’s care and we couldn’t be happier. Absolutely we are going to hire Kaylee again!”

About: I’ve grown up around dogs my entire life, and caring for animals has always come naturally to me. I have over 5 years of experience caring for animals through friends, family, and clients, and I previously volunteered with a dog rescue organization. Through these experiences, I’ve worked with dogs of different temperaments, energy levels, and behavioral needs. I have experience with puppies through senior dogs, including administering oral medications and supporting basic training and reinforcement. I also have hands-on experience working with leash manners, redirection, basic commands, and reading canine body language. I currently work full time in pet care and maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate client needs whenever possible. I intentionally organize my availability to provide reliable, consistent care and clear communication for each client and pet. I’m happy to coordinate timing in advance and do my best to accommodate different scheduling needs whenever possible. Please feel free to reach out to discuss your pet’s routine and care needs. Your pet’s safety and wellbeing are always my top priority. I carefully follow feeding schedules, medication instructions, and any specific routines to ensure consistency and comfort while you’re away. I’m attentive to behavior and body language, proactive about maintaining a safe environment, and committed to keeping pets physically secure and emotionally at ease. My goal is to provide dependable, thoughtful care so you can feel completely confident leaving your pet in my hands.
“Wendy was so wonderful with our Marshie, quickly learning his goofy/sassy behavior (and that he is a cuddler). She even dealt with a brief power outage at our home like a pro. Thank you, Wendy!”

About: I've owned and cared for animals since high school. In addition to dogs and cats, I've owned horses since I was 16. I have been\am a foster parent for the Animal Rescue League of Boston since 2020. I'm a former puppy foster for service dogs and participated with early puppy training. I have carried those skills over to training other foster puppies and my personal dog. I have a medical background (EMT) and my daughter is a Vet Tech so I am very comfortable working with animals with medical needs and will follow any required medical plan. In addition to dogs and cats, I'd love to meet\care for your backyard farm animals; horses, pot-bellied pigs, chickens, goats, sheep, etc. I have experience with some of these animals through ownership and fostering opportunities. I'm open to meeting and learning about new friends. We currently have 4 dogs, 4 cats, and 2 horses in our home. All our animals are our babies and I'll care for yours as if they were my own. I'm currently unemployed so I'll have plenty of time to spend with your pets. I'm available for petsitting any day of the week and can work around any personal appointments. Boarding in my home is restricted to cats or other small animals. Puppies (under 1 year) may be accomodated, no adult dogs. For cats; we have a dedicated "cat room" to keep your pet separated from our pets. The room has a screen door so they don't feel locked away and can be part of our household while remaining safe. I will follow your pet care plan while in your home. For Puppies; all dogs are fed separately to avoid food aggression situations. All puppies will be crated for meals and sleeping overnight. If your puppy is not crate trained, I will work with them to ensure they are comfortable and not afraid. I can support your potty training schedule to maintain consistency.
“Eric has been sitting my 3 y/o rescue Beagle, Walter, for a few months now, to help with his separation anxiety. Eric is great -- not only is he understanding and knowledgeable of Walter's special needs, such as his fear of men and new situations, among other things, he's made some very helpful suggestions that have helped with Walter's anxiety. He is trustworthy, kind and reliable, and I would highly recommend him to anyone; you can rest easy knowing your pets are under Eric's care.”

About: I have owned a cat and a dog. I watch or check in on my friends' and family's pets when they are away from vacation. I WFH fairly regularly so check-ins are really easy. House sitting is doable, but would need to coordinate times as i have some activities with my kid. Animals are all about routine and I don't like to rock the boat. However you take care of your pets is how i want to provide for them.
“Hannah was available last minute for an overnight stay when our original plans changed. She was able to squeeze in a meet and greet beforehand and put a lot of effort into helping our anxious dog feel comfortable. She sent updates throughout the stay and left our home clean and just how we left it. We would definitely use Hannah’s walking and pet-sitting services again!”

Ayer pet parents share their Rover experiences
Megan is very reliable and committed. She came for a meet n greet with our anxious guy and things went great. When she came for the sit, however, our dog could not settle down and barked at her non-stop - hiding under the table. We have no idea why he reacted this way as he has had many successful Rover sits (including overnights) with numerous sitters. Despite the barking and and stress of the situation, Megan stuck with our pup. She could have bailed, but she tried everything she could to help him calm down. It was a multi-day sit, so she even came back for another supervised visit to try and help our dude adjust to her. It got better, though, I think never truly settled. Nevertheless, she stuck it out and was a good communicator throughout. We really appreciated her persistence and care for our guy even though it turned out not to be the best fit between them. Reliability so important and you can count on Megan.

Lydia was phenomenal. Our dogs were happy when we got home, our house was as I left it. Couldn’t even tell she had been there. She gave me the perfect number of updates so I didn’t worry. She will be the first person I ask the next time I go away. Such a relief to find someone to take care of my 2 Great Pyrenees. One is 7 and 1 is a puppy. My older needs daily medications and Lydia was great about it. I can’t say enough good things. I do put a lot of weight in reviews of people leave especially someone staying in my home. It would seem to me that the one bad review was probably an unreasonable client. 🤷🏻♀️
