About: I have owned a cat and a dog. I watch or check in on my friends' and family's pets when they are away from vacation. I WFH fairly regularly so check-ins are really easy. House sitting is doable, but would need to coordinate times as i have some activities with my kid. Animals are all about routine and I don't like to rock the boat. Megan is very reliable and committed. She came for a meet n greet with our anxious guy and things went great. When she came for the sit, however, our dog could not settle down and barked at her non-stop - hiding under the table. We have no idea why he reacted this way as he has had many successful Rover sits (including overnights) with numerous sitters. Despite the barking and and stress of the situation, Megan stuck with our pup. She could have bailed, but she tried everything she could to help him calm down. It was a multi-day sit, so she even came back for another supervised visit to try and help our dude adjust to her. It got better, though, I think never truly settled. Nevertheless, she stuck it out and was a good communicator throughout. We really appreciated her persistence and care for our guy even though it turned out not to be the best fit between them.
