“Megan did an awesome job taking care of our cat and dog for the weekend. She was a great communicator with us and home and pets looked perfect when we came home! Will love to use her again in the future.”

“Joy stayed over and watched our two dogs for a night. She was great and went over and beyond what we expected. She sent us updates with pictures of the dogs, which we really appreciated. Our house even looked cleaner than we had left it. We definitely would have her over again!”

“Brittany was great to work with. She was a great communicator and left us feeling confident that our home and pets were in good hands. We arrive back home and everything was perfect! Ty so much for the piece of mind that we now have a great sitter.”

About: I love to work with animal, I’ve been in the veterinary profession for 10+ years. If your pet has special care instructions I will follow them perfectly. I have dogs, cats, and horses at home so I am very comfortable working with all sizes of animals. I also know how to care for birds, fish, guinea pigs, and hamsters and pigs. I know how much a pet can mean to someone so ill will care for yours as if they were my own I currently work 4 days a week. I am available Fridays to Sunday’s if you are looking for a weekend getaway or if you have a busy weekend and would like your dog to go for a walk I don’t offer in my home dog services but can offer cat or small animal boarding. You tell me home you’d like your pet cared for, weather it’s taking them for a walk or just letting them out in a fenced in area
“Eric provided great care for dogs and they enjoyed getting to stay home vs. being sent away to boarding. Would reach out to Eric if I need house sitting in the future.”

About: Soaking up all the kitty loving I can after a lifetime of not being allowed to have pets at home. I will care for your fur babies as my own and give them all the loving while you're away. I am currently a stay at home mom looking for things to do outside of the home while the kids are at school. I will love on your fur babies any time you need! We have one cat in our home that is friendly and curious about new furry friends and people too! She is out going and will take loving from anyone.
About: I have owned a cat and a dog. I watch or check in on my friends' and family's pets when they are away from vacation. I WFH fairly regularly so check-ins are really easy. House sitting is doable, but would need to coordinate times as i have some activities with my kid. Animals are all about routine and I don't like to rock the boat. However you take care of your pets is how i want to provide for them.

About: I have had dogs and cats in my life since the day I was born! I grew up with a mini poodle named Whoopi (named after my fav actor, Whoopi Goldberg, of course!) and an adorably feisty orange cat named Rainbow. I’m currently working part-time and have a flexible schedule, so I can meet all pet care needs. My house has a partially fenced backyard and lots of beautiful local trails for taking long walks. I’m an endurance athlete so you can count on me to go the distance to take good care of your fur child(ren). I have space to crate dogs in my home, if needed, and they are welcome on my couch. My kids are 13 and 8 and my 3 year old cat Taco is friendly. I look forward to meeting your fur baby (and you) soon! My communication style is clear and straightforward. You can count on me to diligently care for your fur baby! When you get them back, you’ll be thrilled about how well-cared for and happy they are.
“We were very happy with Sarah all around; she was friendly, reliable, and took very good care of our pup while staying in our house. I recommend her to others and would definitely book her again. :)”

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and caring for them has always come naturally to me. From growing up with dogs to caring for my own as an adult, I understand how important it is to know your pet is safe, loved, and treated like family while you’re away. I also previously walked and cared for dogs for clients years ago, giving me hands-on experience with different breeds, personalities, and energy levels. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, cuddles, or just a calm and comforting presence, I’ll make sure they feel happy, secure, and well cared for. I’m dependable, attentive, and truly enjoy spending time with animals — and I’ll care for your dog the same way I would want someone to care for mine. Providing pet care fits very naturally into my daily and weekly routine. I work part time as a healthcare professional, which gives me several days off during the week, including weekends, allowing me to provide flexible and dependable care for your pets. On the days I do work, I still have availability during mornings and evenings for feedings, walks, check-ins, playtime, and companionship. Because caring for others is already a big part of who I am professionally and personally, I bring the same level of responsibility, patience, attentiveness, and compassion to every pet I care for. I understand how important consistency and reliability are for both pets and their owners, and I truly enjoy making animals feel safe, loved, and comfortable while their families are away. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness will always be my top priority whether they are staying in my home or I am caring for them in yours. I provide a calm, clean, loving, and supervised environment where pets can feel safe and relaxed while maintaining their normal routines as much as possible. During walks and playtime, I stay highly attentive by using secure leashes and harnesses, avoiding unsafe areas or interactions, monitoring weather conditions, and always ensuring pets are safely supervised both indoors and outdoors. I understand that every pet has different needs, personalities, and comfort levels, and I take the time to build trust and provide individualized care, patience, and affection. As both a lifelong pet owner and healthcare professional, I take responsibility and safety very seriously, and you can feel confident knowing your pets will be treated with the same love, attention, and care that I give my own.
“Sam took wonderful care of our 2 dogs that both required medication and extra attention. She kept in close contact with us throughout our time away. We lost power for a stretch and she took this in stride and kept us up to date on the dogs and the house. We will definitely plan to have Sam come look after the dogs again.”

“Kaylee took wonderful care of our dog for a full week in our home. She made sure to maintain our dog’s normal routine and also administered medication. She is very aware of the anxiety that comes from being apart for both our pet and our family and communicated with us regularly, including pictures. This experience has made us much more comfortable knowing we have a trusted caregiver for our girl!”

“Sarah was nothing short of amazing! She went out of her way to make my 2, very attached, dogs extremely comfortable during our week away. Despite the thunderstorms and holiday fireworks they were happy and at ease. It was an added bonus that we came home to a clean house AND relaxed happy dogs. Sarah was diligent, respectful and very professional. This is our first time using Rover and I couldn't be any happier with Sarah. We will be repeat customers for sure!”

“Another great house sitting experience with Sara. Very responsive, sends updates and pictures throughout the day, and is great with the pups! We feel confident leaving our home and our furry loved ones in her care!”

About: I grew up with black labs throughout my childhood and have recently adopted an orange tabby cat named Cheeto. I’m very comfortable taking care of both cats and dogs. I currently work remotely from South Boston which makes my schedule flexible for most hours during the week and weekends. I will have no problem making it to sitting appointments on time. I am very responsible and have taken care of my friends and family’s pets at their residence and have never misplaced a key and always leave their home as I found it.
About: I’ve grown up around dogs my entire life and caring for animals has always been second nature to me. Over the years, I’ve provided dog sitting and pet care for friends and family, and for the past year I’ve spent six months volunteering with a dog rescue organization. Through that experience, I’ve worked with dogs of different temperaments and energy levels, administered oral medications, and supported dogs in building better regulation and confidence. I currently live with and help care for a dog, and I have experience with puppies as young as 10 weeks through senior dogs up to 12 years old. I’m patient, attentive, and highly observant of behavior and body language. My goal is always to make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and well cared for in your absence. I work full time but intentionally schedule pet care during dedicated availability windows throughout my week. I’m organized, communicative, and happy to coordinate timing in advance to ensure your pet receives reliable, consistent care. Please feel free to reach out to discuss your specific scheduling needs. I do my best to accommodate whenever possible. Your pet’s safety and wellbeing are always my top priority. I carefully follow feeding schedules, medication instructions, and any specific routines to ensure consistency and comfort while you’re away. I’m attentive to behavior and body language, proactive about maintaining a safe environment, and committed to keeping pets physically secure and emotionally at ease. My goal is to provide dependable, thoughtful care so you can feel completely confident leaving your pet in my hands.
“Hannah was available last minute for an overnight stay when our original plans changed. She was able to squeeze in a meet and greet beforehand and put a lot of effort into helping our anxious dog feel comfortable. She sent updates throughout the stay and left our home clean and just how we left it. We would definitely use Hannah’s walking and pet-sitting services again!”

Ayer pet parents share their Rover experiences
Megan is very reliable and committed. She came for a meet n greet with our anxious guy and things went great. When she came for the sit, however, our dog could not settle down and barked at her non-stop - hiding under the table. We have no idea why he reacted this way as he has had many successful Rover sits (including overnights) with numerous sitters. Despite the barking and and stress of the situation, Megan stuck with our pup. She could have bailed, but she tried everything she could to help him calm down. It was a multi-day sit, so she even came back for another supervised visit to try and help our dude adjust to her. It got better, though, I think never truly settled. Nevertheless, she stuck it out and was a good communicator throughout. We really appreciated her persistence and care for our guy even though it turned out not to be the best fit between them. Reliability so important and you can count on Megan.

Lydia was phenomenal. Our dogs were happy when we got home, our house was as I left it. Couldn’t even tell she had been there. She gave me the perfect number of updates so I didn’t worry. She will be the first person I ask the next time I go away. Such a relief to find someone to take care of my 2 Great Pyrenees. One is 7 and 1 is a puppy. My older needs daily medications and Lydia was great about it. I can’t say enough good things. I do put a lot of weight in reviews of people leave especially someone staying in my home. It would seem to me that the one bad review was probably an unreasonable client. 🤷🏻♀️
