Dakota can care for
Availability
I am working part time as a doordasher, babysitter, and house cleaner, and my schedule is very adaptable. I prefer to schedule things at least two weeks in advance to keep a neat schedule. The farther out you book with me the more likely I am to be available, but I will still try my best to fit things in if they’re last minute.

Pet care experience
I studied in the Veterinary Assisting program at Nashoba Valley Technical High School for 4 years, and graduated in 2025. During that time, I passed the TVMA Veterinary Assistant Certification (CVA) test. During this time, I became proficient in all of the skills a Veterinary Assistant would be expected to perform, and knowledgeable on relevant topics. I was also the recipient of the Certificate of Merit Achievement for Nashoba Tech’s Veterinary Assisting program. I had an amazing dog of my own who I loved and took care of for 10 years. I have also owned a guinea pig and taken care of numerous family cats throughout my life. I have been taking care of other people’s animals since I was 10 years old, watching the pets of family and friends. I am familiar with the care of all sorts of animals, not just limited to typical household pets. I have a lot of experience with animals with unique needs. My skills include fear free restraint and general handling, wound treatment, administration of medication, providing proper enrichment, and use of CPR. Here are some of the relevant certifications I have received: RESCUE- Veterinary Infection Preventionist Certification (September 2022) OSHA 10-hour Veterinary Certification (June 2022) Fear Free Certification (February 2023) Some of my other achievements: Recipient of the 2023 Massachusetts Student Achievement Award Member of the National Honors Society and National Technical Honors Society Selected attendee of 2023 MIAA Student Leadership Conference If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out!

Reviews
Dakota is a great lover of animals and studied veterinary in school. She is caring, compassionate and confident in her care of animals big and small and they seem to love her. Dakota has helped me with my own skittish cat going to the vets and kept her quite calm, which was a relief. She may be young but I would completely trust her with any pet. You won't regret choosing her!
Dakota is the best! I’ve never met someone who over-delivers on a service quite the way she does. She genuinely loves animas and wants to spend as much time with them as she can. If I ask for a quick stop-in, and she has extra time, she’ll ask if she can stay longer to snuggle them. She sends photos and updates frequently. We leave feeling so confident our animals will be loved and cared for! You, and your pets, will be lucky to have Dakota in your lives.
