About: I've had numerous variety of pets my whole life, Worked in pet retail for a time, and genuinely feel I understand animals more than people sometimes. Currently I'm between more traditional 9-5 employment, so I have the time and space to give the care needed for the little (or big) ones. About: My journey with animals did not start as a job. It began when I was 10 years old and welcomed my first cat into my life. Since then, animals have always been part of my world. I also grew up with a beloved Shih Tzu who was part of our family for 16 wonderful years and taught me what patient, devoted, long-term care truly looks like. Over the years, I have gained hands-on pet-sitting experience with many different animals and breeds, from energetic Golden Retrievers to Maine Coons, playful kittens, and small companion dogs. I am happy to lift and carry pets on the stairs when needed, as long as they are comfortable being picked up. No matter the age, breed, or temperament, your pet will be treated with patience, attention, and care, just like part of the family. Pet care fits into my routine really easily because I work from home and have a flexible schedule, so I’m able to give all the needed attention to your pet throughout the day. That means plenty of walks, playtime, bathroom breaks, and just being around so they feel cared for and not left alone for too long. I genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs and cats, keeping them active, entertained, and comfortable, and making sure they feel safe and happy while you’re away. About: I've owned and cared for animals since high school. In addition to dogs and cats, I've owned horses since I was 16. I have been\am a foster parent for the Animal Rescue League of Boston since 2020. I'm a former puppy foster for service dogs and participated with early puppy training. I'm currently unemployed so I'll have plenty of time to spend with your pets. I'm available for petsitting any day of the week and can work around any personal appointments. Boarding in my home is restricted to cats or other small animals. Puppies (under 1 year) may be accomodated, no adult dogs. For cats; we have a dedicated "cat room" to keep your pet separated from our pets. The room has a screen door so they don't feel locked away and can be part of our household while remaining safe. I will follow your pet care plan while in your home. For Puppies; all dogs are fed separately to avoid food aggression situations. All puppies will be crated for meals and sleeping overnight. If your puppy is not crate trained, I will work with them to ensure they are comfortable and not afraid. I can support your potty training schedule to maintain consistency.
