I've been a vet tech for over 20 years. I've taken care of animals small to large my whole life. Working in a veterinary setting gives me the unique ability to size up a situation within seconds. I have a keen sense when something is off in an animal and also have an ability to create a comforting, fun, inviting environment for every animal I meet.

I can tend to your pets in the comfort of their home or they can come to me to romp around my fenced in yard with my 2 well behaved dogs. I have two cats so dogs would need to be cat- safe. Happy to discuss personalized options for care!

Karen J is great with my animals! She is very caring and has a wonderful demeanor with my dogs, and cat. She is always on time and I can rely on her to be there when she says she will be. My fur babies love her and are always happy to see her. I never have to worry when she is going to take care of them, I know they are great hands. She is great with my dog that is skittish, and my hound dog loves to go on long walks with her. She's the best!
I met Karen in college at UConn. We both worked at the horse barn - me a political science major and she an animal science major. She taught me so much. Over the years she has cared for my babies, both dogs and my horse. She is maybe the only person that I wholeheartedly trust to care for my dogs. To me my dog is more than a pet, their family. I lost my last dog in November to cancer. During his last six months he was on a homemade diet and several supplements. When she was needed she stepped up and followed the plan as requested. She also always sends lots of updates and pictures/videos while I’m away. My last guy had some separation anxiety but he was always okay to be left with Kari. I world 100% recommend her to take every vent care of others family members.

Schedule
I'm a mom of 2 beautiful humans so my free time is limited to school hours this time of my life. I love getting outdoors so dog walks are a favorite and I love providing TLC to animals in their homes while their parents are at work.
