About: My journey with animals did not start as a job. It began when I was 10 years old and welcomed my first cat into my life. Since then, animals have always been part of my world. I also grew up with a beloved Shih Tzu who was part of our family for 16 wonderful years and taught me what patient, devoted, long-term care truly looks like. Over the years, I have gained hands-on pet-sitting experience with many different animals and breeds, from energetic Golden Retrievers to Maine Coons, playful kittens, and small companion dogs. I understand that every pet has its own personality, routine, comfort level, and needs. I live with my husband in a two-floor apartment with hardwood floors and no carpets. I am happy to lift and carry pets on the stairs when needed, as long as they are comfortable being picked up. No matter the age, breed, or temperament, your pet will be treated with patience, attention, and care, just like part of the family. Pet care fits into my routine really easily because I work from home and have a flexible schedule, so I’m able to give all the needed attention to your pet throughout the day. That means plenty of walks, playtime, bathroom breaks, and just being around so they feel cared for and not left alone for too long. I genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs and cats, keeping them active, entertained, and comfortable, and making sure they feel safe and happy while you’re away. I live with my husband in a two-floor condo with its own backyard, and while it isn’t fenced, I’m very mindful of safety and always keep dogs secure when they're outside. The area around us has plenty of green space, which makes walks much more enjoyable and gives dogs lots of room to explore, sniff, and play.

About: I have have experience owning dogs from chihuahua size to vizsla size, and experience fostering/house sitting everything in between. I love dogs around here, and will be treated like family. Your pet will stay home with me and my 11 year vizsla all day. He/she will have immediate access to our 2 acre of wooded and yard property as often as needed. We also take 2-5 mile hikes often, and they are welcome to join. Your pet will have Watson, our super friendly and active 11 ye old Vizsla for company as well as 2acres to explore. Cold winter days are spent in front of a wood stove fire, and the rest of the time pets are welcome (if not encouraged!) to spend time on sofas and beds for snuggles and naps. Dogs are family here.

About: I've owned and cared for animals since high school. In addition to dogs and cats, I've owned horses since I was 16. I have been\am a foster parent for the Animal Rescue League of Boston since 2020. I'm a former puppy foster for service dogs and participated with early puppy training. I have carried those skills over to training other foster puppies and my personal dog. I have a medical background (EMT) and my daughter is a Vet Tech so I am very comfortable working with animals with medical needs and will follow any required medical plan. In addition to dogs and cats, I'd love to meet\care for your backyard farm animals; horses, pot-bellied pigs, chickens, goats, sheep, etc. I have experience with some of these animals through ownership and fostering opportunities. I'm open to meeting and learning about new friends. We currently have 4 dogs, 4 cats, and 2 horses in our home. All our animals are our babies and I'll care for yours as if they were my own. I'm currently unemployed so I'll have plenty of time to spend with your pets. I'm available for petsitting any day of the week and can work around any personal appointments. Boarding in my home is restricted to cats or other small animals. Puppies (under 1 year) may be accomodated, no adult dogs. For cats; we have a dedicated "cat room" to keep your pet separated from our pets. The room has a screen door so they don't feel locked away and can be part of our household while remaining safe. I will follow your pet care plan while in your home. For Puppies; all dogs are fed separately to avoid food aggression situations. All puppies will be crated for meals and sleeping overnight. If your puppy is not crate trained, I will work with them to ensure they are comfortable and not afraid. I can support your potty training schedule to maintain consistency.

“I was so impressed with boarding my dog with HImanshu . I couldn’t have asked for a better person/ or place for my dog . He had a beautiful large fenced in yard and his dog and my dog got along very well and played the whole time . There was a dog pool . many toys , beds, and even had their own living room sofa chairs . He slept by my dog as he was crying at night he made him feel included and at ease . Himanshu constantly kept me updated sending me pictures and videos so I was at ease knowing my dog was happy healthy and well cared for ! I would def like to board again here”
“Left my 6-year-old golden retriever with Peter and family while on a 10-day vacation. Since I was going to be out of the country, wanted to make sure I found Cooper a safe and stable home. Cooper had a great stay and we were very happy with everything. Received lots of updates and pictures from Peter throughout the stay which was great. Peter has a nice backyard that also has a trail for walks so Cooper could get his exercise. I could tell when I picked the dog up that the whole family was involved in his care, which was great.”
“Kira and Steve are fantastic! They go out of their way to make sure Jax feels comfortable, and us too ... by sending lots of great pics and updates! We love the playtime he gets with other dogs there. We never like leaving Jax, but knowing how comfortable he is at Kira and Steve's makes us feel so much better :). Thanks!”
