Genius. Scholar. She fed me EXACTLY when I was starving to death (which happens every 9 hours). She gave me food AND didn’t steal it AND didn’t rush me even when I dropped it on the floor on purpose to test her loyalty. Passed. She took me on a walk. Not a “quick” walk. A **sniff-every-tree-branch-like-it’s-a-mystery-novel** walk. She waited while I investigated the same bush for 4 straight minutes because something smelled like *crime*. She played with me. Not “throw ball once” play. Real play. The kind where I bring the toy back and she act surprised EVERY TIME. Excellent acting. Five stars. When I got tired, she noticed. I didn’t even have to dramatically collapse. She said, “Aww, nap time.” YES. FINALLY. SOMEONE WHO GETS ME. She respected my boundaries. Except when I needed exactly 17 belly rubs and then ONE MORE or I would simply pass away. She stayed. She protected the house with me. We heard a noise once. Probably the wind. But still. We were brave together. In conclusion: The Dog Sitter is ✨ The Best Human ✨ ✨ A Treat Giver ✨ ✨ A Walk Bringer ✨ ✨ My New Best Friend ✨ I will miss her. Unless she comes back. Which she should. About: I’ve lived in a home with dogs my entire life. Currently I am the dog mom to a 5 year old goldendoodle and have volunteered at a local rescue who takes in both dogs and cats once a month for the past 3 years. These experiences have thought me management and training techniques for different dog temperaments, ages and medical needs. Recently completed AniMatch Canine Body Language and Behavior Observation Training educational course, have taken a canine CPR course and worked with my own dog on reactivity training. I work a full time remote marketing job. This gives me the ability to have time in the mornings, and evenings to do dog walks and pet drop ins when needed. About: I have lot's of experience in pet care. I walked dogs, pet and house sat for many years in my 20s and after moving to Lancaster a few years ago began pet-sitting again here. About: We are a trio (Riven, Matt, Jason) that have mostly work from home schedules. We have individual Rover verified profiles, and this one is Rivens. I have lived with cats, dogs, and animals of all sorts my whole life. After growing up on a farm and being a founding member of the local 4H Club, my love for animals continued to fostering through rescues, volunteering, and my own pets such as my now passed 17 year cat named Moya, whom I had had since she was a few months old. We around a lot of dogs over the course of the week, so we are unable to on any dogs that will not do well with others for more than an over night. If you have feline family, I am happy to play with crinkle balls, laser pointers, or be a lap as needed. For boarding, my Matt and Jason (also on Rover) and myself are home 95% of the day and can usually accommodate most pick up or drop off time, frequent potty breaks, and walks. For drop in visits we are avaliable to work in the Shirely and immediately surounding area. We have some flexibility with the schedule that we can work out if you're interested! We offer lots of human and other dog socialization in our home. We have people and dogs visitors in home as well as on walks to parks and rivers.

He gets toppers on his food, supplements, daily attention and walks. I'am trustworthy, reliable and will treat your animals as if they were my own.

About: I have owned a cat and a dog. I watch or check in on my friends' and family's pets when they are away from vacation. I WFH fairly regularly so check-ins are really easy. House sitting is doable, but would need to coordinate times as i have some activities with my kid. Animals are all about routine and I don't like to rock the boat. However you take care of your pets is how i want to provide for them.
About: I have had a 14 year old German Shorthaired Pointer that I adopted at 8 years old. He was so sweet and full of energy but slowed down and I learned to be very patient, how to handle anxiety in a dog, walk often, successful medicine tactics, and senior care. Dogs make life much more interesting and deserve loving care, I truly enjoy their presence. We used to have a very loving Chocolate Lab that passed away in Sept 2024. He is greatly missed to this day. I have summers off and lots of flexibility in my schedule when I am home. I also enjoy staying active, so going on walks is a very fun aspect of dogs I enjoy with them. But, I also love to travel which is why I am doing this extra work to save for more trips, so sometimes, my schedule is not as open. My dogs were always very taken care of; kept clean, feed properly, and got lots of snuggles. I use a leash when we out with other dogs.
About: I've had numerous variety of pets my whole life, Worked in pet retail for a time, and genuinely feel I understand animals more than people sometimes. Currently I'm between more traditional 9-5 employment, so I have the time and space to give the care needed for the little (or big) ones. I am open to discussing the individual needs of every client, but the basics of walking, feeding, just plain old attention are well within my capacity. Happy to help facilitate any training that is being done as well.

About: I have been taking care of pets for friends and family for the last 5 years and it’s always been a welcome opportunity as I was never allowed to have pets growing up. I love nature so long dog walks are never boring. I also have experience petsitting so I’ll make sure your pet is never lonely. I am able to stay with your pet all day and on weekends as well. The longest I would be out is 4 hours, but that would be very intermittent. I’m respectful of clients’ homes and I want the pet to be as comfortable as possible. If the pet makes a mess I will be sure to clean it as soon as possible and the return the place to how it looked before if not cleaner.

About: I have had dogs and cats in my life since the day I was born! I grew up with a mini poodle named Whoopi (named after my fav actor, Whoopi Goldberg, of course!) and an adorably feisty orange cat named Rainbow. I’m currently working part-time and have a flexible schedule, so I can meet all pet care needs. My house has a partially fenced backyard and lots of beautiful local trails for taking long walks. I’m an endurance athlete so you can count on me to go the distance to take good care of your fur child(ren). I have space to crate dogs in my home, if needed, and they are welcome on my couch.
