“I needed a last minute sitter and Tabitha came to the rescue. At first meeting her and Scout were fast friends. She did such a great job taking care of him. You can tell she truly takes pride and cares about the furry friends in her care. Thank you Tabitha! I appreciate you and would highly recommend!”

“Carly is simply the best! She is so caring and great with communication. I love that I get pictures from walks every day and seeing how happy Baxter is hanging out with her. She even brings in our packages from the doorstep without being asked! We have been SO lucky to have her taking care of our boy the past few months.”

“Kaitlyn is super exceptional and awesome! I reached out for an initial request and interview with a set schedule. However my schedule was wacky and I needed more than what I asked for and Kaitlyn helped me out with no issue! Kaitlyn also has shown my Ella so much attention and love within their first week together and I love that! Kaitlyn has gone above what I could have expected and I so grateful! She is a jewel and you won’t be disappointed!!!!”

“Alaina was incredibly communicative and respectful. She took care of Enzo for a whole weekend and made sure I was updated in terms of where she took my baby Enzo and when she fed him/refilled his water. Overall, I 100% respect her for her services and trust her with any pet.”

“Jenny has been great with my dog Buddy! We've gotten into a routine with her coming by regularly and he is in such a better mood when I get home because he got to play with Jenny. She asks all the right questions and I know he's getting good care while I'm gone. Thank you, Jenny!”

“My dogs are usually wary of new people, but they loved Alexandra from the start. Alexandra is kind and reliable, and I highly recommend her. (But don’t steal her from my fur-kiddos!)”

“Tara was amazing! She stopped by our house twice a day to look after our dog and we got such detailed feedback after every walk. We also got awesome photos. She went above and beyond to set him up with his puzzle toy with treats and gave him lots of love. You can tell she really loves dogs! We’ve used rover many times and this has by far been our best experience. We’ll definitely be using Tara’s services again!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, hermit crabs, various aquarium fish, and plants to the best of the owner’s instructions and rules. For over 10 years, I simply enjoy being around intelligent loving creatures as I hope they liked me. I am looking to fill up my available time with more companions who are looking to get tons of belly rubs and head scratches (if they prefer of course). I am actively constantly taking care of my roommate’s dog as she is frequently traveling for work and personal reasons. I usually have him 2-3 weeks of a month, about half the year. If not, I drop in and feed/walk/scoop out my neighbor’s pet(s).

About: Experience working at a doggy day care as a contract worker and tons of life long experience with personal dogs. 5 years experience of looking after pets for others! I am fully home focusing for my June LSAT, so I have tons of time to give your pet all the attention they deserve! I am also an early bird so if your pet is at mine, we will get some fun morning yoga in and all the long walks for a healthy workout :) I have the same energy even when I come for just daily routine visits and more. My house is a family of four so tons of supervision! I make sure to almost always have pets in my sight when supervising for everyones safety. I make sure to follow every protocol listed by owner. Additionally, when dog boarding at my house, rest assure your fur baby will get all the loving as I have a younger sister whose responsible and loving energy attracts all the fur babies! So do not worry, your pet will have me, my sister and my house to relax and play at :)

About: I've owned dogs since I was 12 years old, from puppies to a 16 year old which needed extra care. I am comfortable with all breeds of dogs and have a large fenced in yard. I'm able to walk dogs as requested and needed with no issues. I've watched friends and families' dogs when asked to. When you leave your dog(s) with me, they become a part of our family. I'm home each and every day. I have a dog of my own, a husky mix that is dog and people friendly. As long as I'm not away I'm available to care for your dog as if it was my own. I have a large fenced in yard and one dog, a husky mix, who is dog friendly and loves to play. She is crate trained herself but spends more time out of her crate than in it. My neighborhood also has plenty of sidewalks to walk dogs and as long as weather permits I go on at least one long walk per day with my dog.

About: I've taken care of dogs for family, friends, and neighbors since I was about 9 years old. I have been responsible for feeding, bathing, walking their pets & administering medication when necessary. I have experience training dogs at various ages & a wide range of breeds. I have training experience including but not limited to, crate training, potty training, leash training, etc. I have taken care of dogs as small as Shih Tzus to as large as Rottweilers, so I am comfortable around dogs of various sizes. I was the primary care taker for our family's' 2 senior dogs; being sure to give them around the clock access to the bathroom as well as being punctual with any and all medications. My pet care experience is not limited to dogs alone I have cared for cats for friends & family for 4 years. Feeding, playing, changing/cleaning litter & administering medication when needed. I adore all animals and ensuring your pet is loved, safe, and cared for is my top priority. I work 8am-5pm in Elkridge, MD. I have plenty of evening and early morning availability. Depending on location, I am available during lunch breaks for any midday walks/feedings. I want to ensure the pets comfort is the priority. Keeping their routine and providing a loving space while their family is away. Both cats and dogs of any age need ample amount of exercise & affection; even the most independent of animals!

About: Working Knowledge of dogs behaviour; training life skills(preparing puppies for life, walking problems, fears); activities as chasing the ball, treat hunt, high jump, relaxation and more. Pet care typically fits into a daily routine by incorporating feeding times, dedicated playtime or exercise sessions, bathroom breaks (like walks for dogs), and brief moments of interaction throughout the day. Beginning and end a day with my pet: morning/evening walks, playtime, feeding. Our own routine: give everything dogs need to be happy while walking, and they can feel calm and satisfied at home.

About: Growing up on a farm, care for dogs, cats, and other beloved animals is second nature. I was raised caring for the farm, worked in a dog kennel, have rescued two cats, and have dog sat, cat sat, and house sat for many friends over the years. I help my family with their three large dogs and my sister with her pitmix rescue, so I am comfortable with dogs of all sizes, and I love cats. I work in the Hanover area, and my schedule allows for flexible mornings, a break in the afternoon, and available evenings. I am able to reliably care for pets in the morning and evenings and ensure a midday bathroom break Monday-Friday. I am available closer to Severna Park on weekends. I think quality time is imperative for our pets, so I make sure that they have plenty of time with me when their owners are away and prioritize their playtime and enrichment. For dogs, this means walks, playing with toys, or just hanging out (whatever your best friend prefers)! For cats, I reasonably lean in to their zoomies when they arise to help work off any energy, and then give them their space when they need it. I understand that everyone has different philosophies and concerns regarding their pets' care, and I make sure that my care matches the guidelines you have for your pet so their routine and care stays consistent even while you are away.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs of all sizes, as well as cats! I have a chocolate lab and tabby cat who are my pride and joy! It would be an honor to provide care and play with your furry babies while you are unable to be there! I am currently between full time jobs so I will have plenty of time to walk/play with/look after your fur babies! I am flexible and can work with your schedule if communicated with me! I live in an apartment with my cat and a chocolate lab to keep your pets company! I can separate my pets from yours if needed!

About: What sets me apart is the deep, personal connection I’ve had with dogs throughout my life. I’ve had the absolute privilege of sharing my home and heart with three incredible Boxers over the span of 18 years. They weren’t just pets—they were family, best friends, and constant sources of love, laughter, and companionship. That kind of long-term experience teaches you so much—how to truly understand a dog’s needs, read their body language, and provide care that’s both nurturing and reliable. I know what it’s like to want someone who will love and protect your dog just like you would. When your dog is with me, they’re not just being watched—they’re being cared for with the same warmth, attention, and respect I gave my own. Every dog is special, and I treat them that way. I’m here to make sure your pup feels safe, happy, and at home while you’re away. "As a teacher on summer break, I have plenty of free time to focus on caring for your pup! My flexible schedule allows for walks, playtime, cuddles, and lots of personalized attention every day." Your pet’s comfort and safety come first! I treat your home like my own—with care and respect—and follow your pet’s routine to a T. Lots of love, belly rubs, and photo updates guaranteed!

Jeremy S.Star Sitter
“Jeremy loves dogs. Plain and simple. When Jeremy and I started dating, one of the first stories he shared with me was about the dog he had growing up. He had so much love for Sweeper that he wrote an essay about him for his high school English class that he proudly saved as a memento. When we bought our house, the first thing he wanted was a dog. We loved Sugar for 16 sweet years, until she passed in 2024. We got Iris, our second dog, in 2020, and Jeremy is definitely her favorite human. They love taking walks and playing together. When it comes to taking care of dogs, Jeremy strikes the right balance between discipline and fun.”

Jessica M.Star Sitter

“Thank you Jess for saving my day!”

Pj H.
“PJ is one of the most loving people I have ever met and she cares for every pet as if they are her own! She is completely thorough with following every instruction I gave her and my pup Azul is happier than ever! She even plays with my cat Astro and he isn’t playful with just anyone. From making sure Azul is walked and played with, to just being there to give her love and affection, she truly cares for Azul as if she were me. I completely trust her with my babies. I can’t thank her enough for all the help for when I can’t be home with my babies. 1000000/10 would recommend to EVERYONE!”
