“Rebecca is an awesome dog sitter! We have a two year old epileptic husky and Rebecca was able to handle all his medication and all other needs perfectly. You can just see how much Rebecca and her husband really care about animals. I was so comfortable leaving our dog with Rebecca and she handled all of his health needs with the same love and care I would've if I was watching him at home. She sent me updates on how he was doing which is so nice. It's always such a relief to find a dog sitter that is attentive and caring the way Rebecca is when you have a dog with specific health needs such as ours. We just appreciate her help watching our pup so so much! Rebecca is highly recommended by us!”

About: I am a dog lover first and foremost. I have owned and cared for dogs for as long as I can remember. I am experienced with both small and large dogs, young and old. Currently I have an Alaskan Malamute 2.5years old named Zero and a 6 year old shorkie named Panda. They both play well with others and will definitely enjoy the company. I work from home, which allows me to give your baby the attention needed. You can call me anytime for updates on how your dog is doing or even if you need me to send pictures. My large fenced back yard will provide enough room for exercise, play and potty time . I have two kids, a boy, 16years old and a girl, 13years old that also love dogs as much as I do. When they are not at school and are at home, they love helping out. With a watchful eye, I can assure you they will give your precious doggie the same love and attention as I would. They are used to being around small and large dogs and caring for them. We do have plenty open safe trails around, if walking your pet is needed. Give me a chance, you would not be disappointed! I work from home and I’m pretty flexible. I am available to give your baby the attention they need . They are not just pets they are family . I have a large secure fenced in backyard to keep your baby entertained and ability to get some energy out . If the weather is bad they will be in house with AC and fans as needed.

“Asia was able to take my girl last minute and was very nice about the whole experience (especially with me being late for drop off!) I received video and pictures during the stay. Braell came home so happy and tired from playing the whole day which is exactly what I was hoping for. 10/10, would book with Asia again!”

About: Conveniently located 7-10 mins from the Charleston Airport, we are here to give your pup a fun vacation while you enjoy yours stress-free! We are a young energetic couple who grew up with cats, dogs and other animals (turtles, chickens etc..) Needless to say, we LOVE animals! We also love nature and all it has to offer! A few years ago we started caring for the dogs and cats of our friends and family members. Several friends encouraged us to try Rover seeing how happy their pups were with us, so that's why we're here! We work from home in the mornings and some afternoons as well. In our free time we do volunteer work that benefits the community, we go for walks, bike rides and love to explore nature. We have plenty of time throughout the day to provide your pup with the exercise and love that it needs! Expect to receive daily picture updates as well! We live in a house with a big fenced-in backyard and deck. We keep our yard tidy and well-trimmed to keep all the pups safe. In our home we value and strive to maintain a peaceful, loving and respectful atmosphere. We also care about our health and maintain a clean and tidy home. All our puppy guests have thrived in this atmosphere! Before booking with us, please consider the following points: - Please make sure your pup is up to date on all vaccines and tick medication. All dogs must have current vaccinations, including Rabies, Parvo, and Bordetella. Kennel Cough vaccinations are strongly recommended. - Dogs must be socialized and non-aggressive. We only accept dogs that get along with other dogs. If your dog has a history of growling, being nippy or "iffy" with other dogs or humans; please do NOT book with us. - We only accept neutered/ spayed animals - We work hard to provide a clean environment for ourselves and our guests so please make sure your puppy is clean before drop off.

“A wonderful experience. A gorgeous backyard area. My dogs almost jumped out of the car on the second day of day care upon arrival. They both just ran inside and I was like okay, bye! Has an great grooming area if you need those services as well!”

About: Hi, I'm Lil Miss - writing for the human, Adam. He thinks he runs this household but let's be real. We live in a great duplex with a great fenced-in yard! We're excited to have slumber parties and go on neighborhood walks and go to the dog park - and I'll even share some of my treats! I do great with other doggos and love to play. I am naturally a herder but love getting to know other pups with my human. We can go on walks and car rides, too! Daily routine consistent, as Lil Miss loves routine. The home is free range but we can incorporate your crate, should your dog need it. We go on 1 walk in the neighborhood every day and try to hit up a local dog park when it's not too hot or wet outside. Lil Miss is a free range eater but we'll make sure both doggos eat at the same time. My work schedule is sporadic but allows me to be home during the day, more often than not. We have a great fenced-in yard and can crate your dog, in your crate, if necessary. Lil Miss does well when hanging out with other dogs in the home and we have extra beds and toys to share!

About: I know that finding someone to care for your dog can be a struggle, and the last thing you need when traveling or at a long day at work is to worry if your dog is safe and happy. Whether you need doggy day care, boarding, or someone to drop by and walk, play with, and feed you pup, you can be assured that your dog will get the VIP treatment and all the attention they deserve! I have been pet sitting for 15+ years, and I've always had dogs. My family had standard poodles since before I was born, and now I have my own 5 year old brown poodle, Marrón, who loves having dog friends over to visit. Dogs continuously amaze me with their intelligence and affection and I aim to return all of the love they give to us. Dogs continue to *train me* on how to respect and work with pups to help them be happy and well-adjusted. I understand that each dog is a unique individual, and I love learning the quirks and needs of each dog. I have studied dog behavior and training and use science-based positive reinforcement methods. My goal is to help dogs and humans work as a team. I am comfortable with a wide range of dogs, from puppy to full-grown, small to large, and all breeds. While pet sitting or dog walking, I can help give your dogs the socialization and exercise they need, making sure they work their brains as well as their bodies. I am also happy to support any obedience and habit training that you are working on. I know that a well-exercised puppy or dog is a happy puppy/dog, and so I'm here to help you and your dog be as happy as possible together All potential clients must set up a meet and greet to ensure that my dog Marrón and your pooch get along. He is high-energy and very social, so dogs who do not get along with other dogs would not be a good match. He does well with most dogs, and even if you're dog doesn't love to play, he is ok just co-existing. I do separate the dogs periodically throughout the day for downtime and feeding, but want to ensure that all dogs are comfortable and happy co-existing in the home together. (Please note: My doggie daycare price is for a standard 8-hour work day. For half days or extended hours longer than 8 hours, we will adjust the price accordingly). As a professor, I have a fairly flexible schedule, so I can adjust my schedule around the dogs in my care. I can board 1-2 dogs at my place both for overnight and for daytime "doggie day care." While I am home most of the day, I do sometimes leave for a couple of hours, so dogs need to be comfortable being left alone for brief periods of time, whether in the house or in a crate. Your dog will be treated like a member of my family. I do my best to help dogs feel comfortable and like to know what rules and routines they are used to at home, so I can provide that here. I will provide the appropriate walks, exercise, and activities for your pup. Marrón is very active so we go on at least 2 long walks a day and to the dog park in our complex. See my description of a "typical day" for what that can look like. I live in a duplex, so while my house is not huge, it is set up for maximum dog fun and safety. I can gate off each room to give dogs their own space, and I tend to do so periodically during the day to give them breaks from playing and to let them eat and nap in peace. (For example, my poodle Marrón sometimes needs some alone time in order to transition from playtime to chill time. Often younger puppies will keep asking for more play, even when they're tired) I have a fenced-in backyard which we use as a play space and for potty breaks. Dogs are never left out there unattended as I don't like leave dogs outside without human supervision. I do not take more than 2 dogs at a time, and only when I know that they will get along. So your dog will get lots of attention. If your dog is crate trained I can set your crate up in my house in my bedroom or in my living room, based on your preference. I also have two crates that I can set up for your dog if they are comfortable in crates other than their own.

About: My jack, Russell terrier, chili passed away in August. The house feels empty without a dog running around, but I’m not quite ready to be a full-time permanent mom just yet. However, I would love to take care of your loved one in My Home, and the house would not feel so empty. I work from home so I will be with your loved one all day and night. I have a fenced in yard. It’s not very big but plenty of room for a small, medium dog. I work from home so I will be available to take care of your pet 24/7. There is no limit to the amount of potty breaks they can have. I have a fenced yard. Your fur babies are welcome on my furniture and the bed but if you prefer them to be created, that is fine too

“Sam is amazing! She is super reliable, easy going, and takes great pictures to keep you updated! My dog is shy at baseline, but is always so excited to see Sam! I have already re-booked with Sam since she is someone I trust!”

About: I would love to take care of your pet baby! I work from home and have a house and fenced in yard for them to enjoy. The neighborhood is also a great place for walks and my home is already very pet friendly as we have an older westi poo here also. Your dog ( or dogs!) will be the only guests besides our own family and pets! Although I can’t board cats, I love them too and have been a cat owner my whole life. I would love to do drop ins for your cat as needed. You can use this code also if you are new to Rover to get $20 off! HEATHM09255, https://www.rover.com/sit/heathm09255 My schedule is very flexible but I do work from home full time. The longest I would be away from the home would be one hour during the day and two hours during an overnight. I am available for pet sitting, boarding, and drop ins are no problem! I can also do pet walking depending on your pets needs. If your dog is aggressive then that may not be the best fit for our home or for a drop in. I have a fenced in yard and have been a responsible pet owner for over 20 years. I have taken care of lots of different types of doggies ( and cats!) over the last 20 plus years. Your pet will never be outside ( even in our back yard) without supervision :) I have experience with drop in care also, and I deliver what I promise.

Alita & Timothy L.Star Sitter
“Alita is one of the sweetest people that I know. Every time I bring my dog Rogue to her house she gets super excited and Alita is just perfect with her. When they see each other, I don't know which one gets happier, her or Rogue! It's hard to trust people with our dog sometimes because of her high energy, but Alita knows just how to handle her, ever since the first day they met. I feel that is because, as a person, Alita is extremely polite, respectful and humble to every one she meets. She treats everyone with infinite amounts of love, whether it's family, friends, or even complete strangers when she does dozens of hours in free community service. These days there just aren't as many trustworthy individuals out there, but Alita sure is one of them!”

“Adam is great with dogs of all sizes and demeanors! He has watched my demure black lab, friends' gargantuan Great Danes (one of which is a "puppy") and his energetic mid-sized dog (all at the same time, even!). He's great about giving them the attention they need and making sure all of their needs are met!”

Amy F.

“Amy is great. My dog enjoyed his time with Amy. I like the fact that he is the only dog that she watches. It makes it easier for me to feel comfortable with him.”

Michal B.

“Michal was great with my pup matthew, would recommend her to anyone looking for a responsible sitter! She was super flexible and easy to communicate with”

alison k.
“Alison is a dedicated and responsible pet-lover. She is flexible and nurturing enough to meet whatever my dog throws her way, but balances this with the right amount of discipline so I know my pet is safe in her hands. Highly recommend Alison as a contentious and capable dog walker & sitter.”

Elissa G.
“I can’t recommend Elissa enough as a dog watcher! She treats every pup like her own and goes above and beyond to make sure they are happy, safe, and well cared for. My dogs (Oakley and Finn) absolutely adores her and gets so excited every time she comes over. Elissa is reliable, attentive, and has such a natural way with animals. If you’re looking for someone you can trust to give your dog the love and care they deserve, Elissa is the one!”
