“Jenna was very communicative and our bulldog loved staying with her. Her house is a beautiful setup for any furry friend. We felt so comfortable leaving our dog with Jenna. Thank you again!!!”

“We are very happy with the service Amenda provided. She gave few updates on how Abby and Zoey are doing through out the day. Very happy and will be using in future.”

“She was very kind and attentive to our dog. I had to go on a long international trip, but she sent photos and updates the whole time. I definitely recommend her—thank you for your care.”

“I have a 12 yo German Shepard. He's an old man now. We were going away for New Years and our normal sitter wasn't available. I was apprehensive about leaving him with someone new. Karin was spectacular. She was attentive to his needs and careful about his 'age' related shortcomings. She has a pup of her own and a young son who loved my boy. Karin sent plenty of pics of him and was very communicative during his stay, asking questions to make sure behaviors were normal and making sure he'd tolerate the environment there! I don't know how many stays my old man has left in him, but Karin is definitely the person I'd want watching him when I leave!”

“Katie was a perfect sitter for Nash! She gave him the attention and love he wanted, a great house to feel comfortable in and he almost didn’t want to leave!”

“We were very happy with Kim. She communicates really well and is great with dogs. We were using another sitter and we would get our dog returned a hot mess— but not with Kim. She is very kind, and caters to our dog’s needs and preferences to make their stay very easy and comfortable.”

“Absolutely perfect with my senior dog. Kept me updated on everything. Sent pictures when asked. And even smoothed over my overthinking of her stay. Nicole will make sure your family member is safe while you are away. Will be using her when needed in the future.”

“Janice is super friendly and very thorough. We really enjoyed the photos and updates she sent us over the weekend. Janice is good with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. Our dog came home happy and we know she was in good hands with Janice and her family! We work forward to working with Janice again soon!”

About: My name is ebony and I have always loved dogs my whole life. Before working for Rover, I would travel from Toledo, Ohio to Hamilton/Fairfield which is estimately a 3 hour drive without a problem to dog sit for my sister and I absolutely enjoyed doing it. According to relocating, now I live in Middletown Ohio and working toward starting a dog sitting businesss. My sister introduced me to rover and I am excited to be doing business with different types of dogs and people. I am willing to walk, feed, play and keep your dog company. Not only those services but I am offering a free dog grooming service the first time i watch your pup. If you give me a chance at watching your dog I can prove to you how much I enjoy them and I’m pretty sure they will enjoy me being around just as much, maybe even more. Please no unruly dogs, Soon i will be able and certified in training dogs. Thank you for reading my introduction and I hope you have a delightful day!! I am still new to Rover but I definitely have an open schedule for any dog service needed. I am flexible with any day of the week as well as time. I have a unfenced backyard, so prefer dog to have a leash. I do not mind taking the dog to a park either. I don't mind taking the dog for a walk. It is not required but highly recommended as your dog is house trained due to the fact I have no pets at all and I am in process of learning how to train thanks to rover but not yet certified.
“We are so grateful to Debbie and Randy for the great care they provided for our Luna. It was clear from the pictures she sent that she was very happy and comfortable. I highly recommend them. In my opinion they get 10 STARS. ❤️”

“Michelle is fabulous! I take my Australian Labradoodle to her and she cares so much about him. She goes on daily walks, plays outside with him, and keeps him safe. I feel so comfortable with him being there. Thanks again Michelle! We’ll be back.”

“Thank you Beka and Ryan, This was Sandie's first visit and she came home totally relaxed and happy. She not only made two new friends people friends, but also two new doggie friends as well !! I have already scheduled her next visit and now feel comfortable knowing we can go on our weekend trips and know that our daughter is in great hands.”

“Michelle was an excellent dog sitter. We knew Cookie was in safe hands while we enjoyed some Fall camping. When I got back into cell phone service on Sunday I was greeted with dozens of pictures of Cookie having fun and going for walks. He got a bath as well, and smells lovely. :-)”

“Moses had a great time staying with Paige and playing with her and her dog. Paige is very friendly and loves dogs, sent updates and pics, and dropoff and pickup were hassle-free. Highly recommended.”

“Jessica was absolutely the best pet sitter! She was so sweet and really loves animals! She has the best setup for watching them in her home! She had a nice area for my cat to be separate if he chose to from her pets - but her pets were awesome also! I highly recommend her to everyone! I had been super anxious and worried about leaving my kitty, but my mind was at ease and I could relax on vaca because I knew my kitty was being extremely well taken care of! She also sent daily pics and notes, which was so great! Thank you so much Jessica!”

“Chris and his family took great care of my dog when my initial plans for boarding fell through at the last minute. I received daily updates and pictures. I can tell they treated my baby very well. I am extremely appreciative, and will be booking again.”

“Finn’s second time with Holly and he ran right inside when we dropped him off like it was his own house! He was so excited to be there and hang with Millie which makes us feel so good leaving him. Thanks again, Holly!”

“Sandy made the whole experience wonderful for me and my dog. I was traveling by RV and wanted to explore the area but I didn’t want to leave my dog in the RV unattended. I located Sandy on Rover several days before I arrived and she assured me my dog would be safe and happy in her home. Sandy was very welcoming and showed me around her home and yard. I am very pleased and grateful with the service she provided.”

Kelsey provides a calm, safe environment for your dog to blend in with her two dogs while you need to be out of town. She did a great job taking care of our boy, Gilbert, and sends pictures so you can see how your dog is doing. Kelsey is great at communication and easy to work with. Gilbert enjoyed his stay!

We found Rover after a family member who was supposed to watch our dog got sick. Robert was able to accommodate our last minute request to watch our dog, Zara, for a week. At the Meet & Greet, he was very gentle and attentive to Zara and she took to him almost immediately. He asked about her schedule, likes/dislikes, etc. He made feel us feel comfortable and put our minds at ease. Robert communicated with us often, sending pictures, videos, and updates. Zara was happy and well cared for. I would definitely recommend Robert, he's a great dog sitter!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OH ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
