“Ainura did an EXCELLENT Job with my 3 Yorkies while I left out of the country to Dubai. I was updated daily with pictures on my dogs. This has been the best service provider I’ve received on here. Definitely will recommend and use again! ?????”

“My husband and I were so pleased with Colleen. She sent multiple updates with pictures during Logan’s stay. She was very understanding with my worry with leaving Logan after a bad experience a few years ago.”

“Natalie was fantastic ! Not only did we get daily updates but photos too :-) Our dog Buddy was well taken care of. Not only will we recommend Natalie but we will be using her again next year on our vacay. Thank you Natalie :-)”

“This was our first time with Rover, its was a great experience for both us and our dog. Starting the moment you drop you dog you can tell right away the love dogs, and their have a great setup to take care of them. We will definitely book with them again. 5 stars”

“Jen and Rob are the perfect pet sitters. We have total peace of mind that our pup is loved, cared for, and kept active while we are gone. They treat her like another member of their family. Thank you!!!”

“Amira was great! She was easy to communicate with and was super flexible with our ever changing schedule. She took great care of our dog and I would love to have her watch Bunny again.”

“Our dog had great care with Caleigh! Great backyard for dogs, good communication, and she did everything she could to make our dog feel comfortable while we were away.”

“Kiersten provided a happy, loving, and relaxed environment for our doggo who is often anxious in boarding situations. Boo had a wonderful time playing with her other dogs and Kiersten took great care of her!! Will definitely use Kiersten again!”

“Highly recommend! My dog stayed here for a multiple day booking and had an amazing time. The sitter was fantastic and which allowed my dog to socialize and spend time around a friendly large breed dog, which was a wonderful bonus experience. It was great to see my dog so comfortable, well-cared for, and happily socializing. I will definitely use this sitter again in the future!”

“If you love your dog like they were your own child, then book Tonia! I’d give Tonia six stars if I could. Her patience and kindness with humans such as I, and animals like my dog, were superb! She knows that dogs are dogs and is understanding when they behave as such. My dog is not comfortable in kennels, when other sitters have that as a norm, she lets them hang out as close to her as they want, all the time. She treated my dog (my kid) like her own and she appreciates the familial love my dog and I share.”

“Omg! I don’t know where to start… Karen was amazing from the start of us booking her. Quick response and met with us ASAP. She always responded to my questions and wanted to really know about Mylo. My Mylo don’t do well with others besides a few. I had this feeling he would be great with her because of her first impressions and conversation. He will be back and we found a new sitter and family member for him. I highly recommend her. She is amazing!!!!! ?”

“Debby and Randy watched my 2 dogs Clio and Sola. Less than 2 weeks before our trip Clio went blind, they agreed to keep them both anyway. I felt so much better knowing they were in private home care similar to their home routine. Debby and Randy made it possible to enjoy our vacation, I recommend them highly.”

About: Hi, my name is Faith and I'm a young professional living in Cincinnati, OH. I'm looking to make some extra money for a dream vacation while spending quality time with my best friend, Rusty. Rusty is a senior corgi-retriever mix that loves naps and rolling in the grass. We walk twice a day and enjoy living near plenty of trails and a big park. He is dog-friendly and would love some company as he's over the dog park. We're open to hosting for dogs, animals in enclosures, and animals that may be harder to find care for. I have a lot of personal experience with animals from pets to exotics, we would love to host your loved one. I'm work in a hybrid setting, so I am available during the first half of the week to be fully present with your loved one at my home. For weekend bookings, I am fully available. I can also add on weekend activities such as a local hike or taking them to a prepaid grooming appointment for an additional fee. I have an aging dog that takes medication and requires accommodation for seperation anxiety, so I am familiar with meeting special needs or adjustments in care. I do not crate pets unless advised due to behavioral concerns, and the pet must be crate trained. For animals that live in enclosures such as rabbits or guinea pigs, I will keep them on a desk or in my room with periods of playtime out of the enclosure as directed by their guardian.
“I needed a place to board my dog for a night while my husband and I went to a wedding. Our dog has been to standard daycare facilities but isn't fond of being left alone so we didn't like the idea of her staying in a kennel. Alison was really accommodating and assured us that our sweet girl would get plenty of attention and play time with her own dogs, which is perfect because our girl loves to make friends. We were afraid that she'd have trouble settling in because she's very attached to us, but we were put at ease when Alison sent a picture of our girl sleeping on a comfy couch. They also made sure she had her allergy meds and food. This is exactly the environment and attention our dog needs to be comfortable being away from us for a bit. Thank you so much for watching her!”

“Melissa and her family were absolutely wonderful. They watched our boy for 5 days when we had to travel for a wedding! Pickup and drop off was a breeze. Melissa was always prompt with her responses and kept us posted with pictures! We don't leave him very often so he is quite anxious with strangers but meeting Melissa and her girls made us feel comfortable to leave him. I would definitely drop him off with her anytime! Thanks Melissa!”

“Monte did a wonderful job keeping tabs on my pup! He was kind and welcoming with the introductions, as well as his furry companion. Definitely will be contacting Monte again in the future.”

“Ronald watched my puppy over a busy holiday weekend - not a small feat! He was responsive and sent updates throughout the weekend. Highly appreciated and would definitely recommend Ronald!”

“Dion is fantastic and I would definitely recommend him. He responded quickly and professionally to my last minute request. He sent photo updates and has a great room for my anxious dog to hang out in with his dog. He took my dog for a walk and has a great yard for them to play in. My dog was so calm at pick up. I couldn’t be happier! Will book with him again.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Reading
Johana and her husband were wonderful! They were great with our St. Bernard. The updates were really nice, and we really felt she was in very safe hands. Overall we were very happy with the experience and most importantly our Bebe had a great time and made new friends!

Lucy was amazing! My pup felt right at home in her place (ran to her room and jumped up on her bed immediately!), and she got tons of one:one time. Lucy is perfect for dogs who need a calm and quiet place and who do best with lots of attention. We can’t wait to book with Lucy again :)

We were very happy with the level of care and communication that Taylor and Brian provided during Mellie's stay with them. They provided regular updates and pictures. It's clear that they love their dogs and that they extend that level of care to their guests. We would be extremely comfortable leaving Mellie with them in the future!

Shanta is amazing! I booked her last minute to watch my cat because I was going out of town for my birthday and she was more than accommodating and flexible. My cat came back happy and healthy and seemed to enjoy staying with Shanta. I definitely feel comfortable with leaving my baby in the care of her and will be booking with her more in the future!

Siri was so amazing with my dog, Rooster (Roo)! She treated her just like her own and sent so many adorable pictures of them playing, snuggling, and running errands. She was also happy to keep Roo for an additional day when my flight was unexpectedly cancelled. I am so relieved to have found a wonderful local sitter and cannot recommend her enough!!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OH ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
