About: I love animals, and have a cat and dog of my own. I have a fenced yard for dogs to run around in. I am doing this so my dog can have playdates(!) and just because I love animals. I work from home Mon/Fri so I focus on weekend stays, and only accept only one family at a time. So rest assured that your cat/dog will be well taken care of! I work from home Monday and Friday, and my work is pretty flexible on other days. I go on walks every day and live minutes away from a dog park as well! I have a fenced yard and a dog to play with. My dog and cat are both fully vaccinated. I have a dedicated pet room that can be closed off for separation if needed, and a crate as well.

I also like to keep you updated with quick messages and photos throughout our time together, so you always know your pup is happy, safe, and having a great time. Pet care fits really well into my routine. I’m a full-time software engineer working a hybrid schedule with flexible hours (10 AM–3 PM). I’m typically out of the house on Mondays and Tuesdays, work from home the rest of the weekdays, and I’m completely off on weekends. My schedule is also flexible enough that I can adjust days if needed to match your pup’s needs. On the days I’m home, I have plenty of time for walks, play, and feeding, and I’m usually happy to have a dog keep me company while I work. I regularly cuddle and work alongside my own Golden Retriever puppy, so I’m used to balancing focused work with giving a dog attention, short breaks, and check-ins throughout the day. Joey was very shy at first and stayed hidden for the first few days. Wesley reassured me with daily texts, photos, and videos. Ultimately, Joey was comfortable hanging out with Wesley and his wife. The videos showed him exploring and asking for pets—he looked just like himself😁 Wesley’s home is spacious and has a screened in porch great for cats to watch birds. There were no other animals in Wesley’s home during this booking. I also appreciated that Wesley works from home, since Joey is fed 3x day. This time we couldn't take Tedy with us and I had to find a pet sitter - I have to say that I couldn't be happier that I've found Johana - she is such a thoughtful, caring and always present pet sitter. We cannot rate Scott high enough! He is very familiar with dogs, genuinely cares, and is excellent with communication and willingness to accommodate dog routines & preferences. After much debate about using someone from Rover, we selected Scott. He watched our dog for a week & we are so thankful we found him! I am not sure our dog wanted to come home after his 5 star luxury vacation with Scott!
Chuck welcomed Weston into his home and took great care of him while we were on vacation. They have a couple very good dogs that Weston had a lot of fun with. Their fenced yard is perfect for outdoor play. He came home happy. Highly recommend Debbie and Chuck as dog sitters.
