I’ve owned cats and dogs over the years. My family raised kittens for years when I was in high-school. I also had a dog of my own for 15 years. I’m always the first to volunteer to care for friends and family members pets when they are out of town or need extra help walking them during the work week. I am currently pet free and miss having furry friends around!

I’ve trusted Heather to care for my two pit bulls many times, and I can’t recommend her highly enough. She is dependable, responsible, and truly has a natural connection with animals. My dogs are always excited to see her, which says everything. She goes above and beyond to make sure they’re well cared for, get plenty of exercise, and receive lots of love and attention. It’s obvious that she genuinely enjoys spending time with animals and treats them as if they were her own. Would highly recommend!
Heather has watched our dog, Murphy, on multiple occasions, and we couldn’t recommend her more! Murphy absolutely adores both Heather and her son, Connor, who helps walk and feed him. Heather always keeps us updated throughout his stay with messages and photos, gives him all the cuddles and attention he loves, and genuinely gets excited to spend time with him. It’s such a comfort knowing he’s being cared for like one of the family. We love Heather and trust her completely with Murphy!

Schedule
I work evenings so I have plenty of time during the day to walk pets and take them on adventures! I’m happy to house sit or keep pets overnight as well, as long as they can be left for 4-6 hours in the evening!

Safety, trust & environment
Your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine are always my top priorities. I have a dog park at my apartment complex, and take lots of daily walks as well. In your home, I make every effort to keep your pet on their normal schedule, including feeding, walks, playtime, medications (if needed), and plenty of affection. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet, so I’ll always treat them like one of my own and keep you updated with photos and messages while you’re away. My 14-year-old son is gentle, respectful of animals, and has grown up around both dogs and cats, but all pet care and responsibility is handled by me.
A typical day
I love to walk different neighborhoods of Cincinnati or take hikes in our great parks. We can play fetch at my dog park or in your yard.
