“Dantasia was awesome! This was my first time using Rover and she made the experience excellent! My dog loved her and her family and returned to me as happy and healthy as she was dropped off.”

“Highly recommend! My dog stayed here for a multiple day booking and had an amazing time. The sitter was fantastic and which allowed my dog to socialize and spend time around a friendly large breed dog, which was a wonderful bonus experience. It was great to see my dog so comfortable, well-cared for, and happily socializing. I will definitely use this sitter again in the future!”

“Lauren and Wynn took great care of our pup! Communication was terrific with photos and updates shared regularly. They were flexible on the pick-up and drop-off times. And Vivi came home happy, healthy, and exhausted from playing. Highly recommend!”

“We are repeat clients because there is no one else that our pup loves more than Grandma Jane and Grandpa Scott’s house! Jane shares updates regularly and keeps our active pup busy and happy.”

“Gabrielle was wonderful to work with and despite this being the first time we used her, we felt comfortable with her right away. She clearly has experience and is loving and caring. I knew Max was in excellent hands. Max had a great time and made a new friend in Jetson. Gabrielle was great about sending pictures throughout our vacation and little updates. I now have a new back up sitter for Max.”

“Lauren was so great! She sent tons of pics and updates, which was very much appreciated! Our pup was very well taken care of, and we will definitely be booking again in the future!”

“Siri is the best! She took excellent care of my two dogs while I was visiting family in Cincinnati. It was so nice to feel peace of mind that my doggies were in good hands while I was focused on family events. Thank you Siri! We’ll be back!!”

“Ronald and his family could not have been better sitters for our 2 labs. They were so thoughtful and provided a loving home for our pups while we were away. I will definitely continue to book Ronald on future trips.”

“Jenny was awesome! We are so happy she was able to help us out last minute. Piper absolutely loved the long walks and great care Jenny provided. We received updates and pictures throughout her stay. We highly recommend!! Thank you Jenny!”

“So thankful for Kelti and tanner being available to watch Duncan for our long weekend away. I felt so at ease with him being in their home and he genuinely looked happy to be there in all the photos I was sent. He typically gets nervous in newer environments around other dogs but you could just tell that he was relaxed this time.”
“Our dog had a great stay! We appreciated the thorough communication and vetting Alycia does with all dogs who stay with her. Alycia sent great photo updates throughout his stay and he got personal care and attention. Will use again!”

“Teah & Eric were amazing!!! This was the first time my dogs have stayed outside of their home. Teah & Eric were great at calming them and making them feel welcome. I will choose them every time if I have the chance!”

“Jessica was absolutely the best pet sitter! She was so sweet and really loves animals! She has the best setup for watching them in her home! She had a nice area for my cat to be separate if he chose to from her pets - but her pets were awesome also! I highly recommend her to everyone! I had been super anxious and worried about leaving my kitty, but my mind was at ease and I could relax on vaca because I knew my kitty was being extremely well taken care of! She also sent daily pics and notes, which was so great! Thank you so much Jessica!”

“I cannot express how appreciative my wife and I are for Tonia’s care in watching our pup. She had never been boarded before and we were very nervous about it. Despite our dog Maya having a lot of separation anxiety and some reactivity to people we felt reassured knowing that someone who genuinely loves dogs and has a very calm environment was watching her. Thank you so much for your help Tonia!”

“Our 15-month old Golden Retriever Cooper enjoyed an active weekend with Chrissy’s family, her their dog and a visiting Golden. Sounds like Cooper enjoyed playing with his big friends in Chrissy’s yard. Chrissy was super accommodating with an early drop off and a late pickup. She promptly replied to my texts and sent us pictures which we appreciated. Very happy with his stay and would return without hesitation.”

“Rebecca was fantastic. She took great care of my pup Daisy while we went away to Florida. She sent daily updates with photos and made our boxer lab feel right at home. Would definitely use Rebecca again.”

About: I've been around dogs my entire life and currently have a two-year-old Doberman of my own, so I understand the care, patience, and attention they need. Friends and family have always trusted me to watch their dogs, whether it's for a day, a weekend, or longer. I'm comfortable with dogs of all sizes and personalities, and I treat every pet like they're part of my own family. My goal is to make sure every dog feels safe, loved, and well cared for while you're away. I work full-time Monday through Friday, with a hybrid schedule that gives me extra flexibility for pet care. I work from home on Mondays, Fridays, and every other Thursday, which allows me to provide potty breaks, walks, playtime, and plenty of attention throughout the day. On the days I'm in the office, I'm available after 5:00 PM for evening visits, and walks. I'm also available most weekends, making it easy to accommodate weekend getaways, vacations, or last-minute bookings. I do my best to be reliable, communicative, and flexible so pets can stay on their normal routine while their owners are away. Caring for pets has always been a big part of my life. I have a friendly 2-year-old Doberman who keeps me active, so I understand the importance of regular exercise, routine, and plenty of attention. We go on daily walks and runs, and one of our favorite stops is Paris Baguette, where the staff always loves seeing him and he gets a pup cup. There's also a dog park just a block from my home where I can take dogs to safely play and socialize if their owners are comfortable with it. Whether it's sticking to feeding schedules, giving medications if needed, or simply making sure every pet feels loved and comfortable, I care for every dog as if they were my own.
About: Hi there! My name is Meghan and I’m a new sitter on Rover. I live in Norwood and am looking to add some excitement to my weekends by helping out other dog parents 😊 I’ve had dogs in my life since I was a little girl (shoutout cooper our family lab in my profile picture!) but when I was 19, I got my first dog of my own. Her names Luna and she is my golden doodle bestie, I can’t believe she’s 7! She is a total sweetheart and would love some new friendships. I now work full time during the week so primarily am available on weekends for boarding/walks/etc. I’m comfortable with administering medications, long walks, senior dogs, and youngsters. Although I’m new to Rover, I’d be happy to send you coworker/friend contacts if you’d like some more info before committing - would love to do a meet and greet to see if it’s a good fit :) Looking forward to meeting you and loving on your furry family members! 🤍🐾 I work full time in office with a lunch break. As of now, I can commit to Friday-Sunday sitting! I’d also be interested in discussing any-day evening walks/potty breaks if you need somebody to stop by your house. 😊 I have lots of unfenced green space around my house for easy access potty breaks and I live in a family friendly neighborhood close to Wasson Way for long walks! Birdies is near by for a pup cup :) I do have steps going into my apartment so this is something to keep in mind with senior friends.

I highly recommend Caleigh for anyone looking for a top-tier pet sitter! We were incredibly nervous about leaving our girls with someone outside the family for the first time, but Caleigh completely blew us away and eased all of our anxiety. Her home is incredibly welcoming, and from the moment they arrived, she made sure they felt comfortable and right at home. The backyard is a fantastic, secure area where they could run around and play safely. Caleigh was also amazing at sending regular updates, photos, and videos throughout the stay, which gave us total peace of mind. It was so reassuring to see them having such a great time and getting plenty of love and attention. She is professional, attentive, and truly cares about the animals she watches. We will definitely be booking with her again!

Jenny was an amazing sitter with lots of love and patience! My dog Max had a bit of anxiety being in a new place (on top of his high energy). Jenny was very communicative and willing to go the extra mile to help him cope. Max ended up having a great time. I highly recommend her!!!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OH ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
