I've had a dog since the day I was born when my parents were given a beagle puppy as a wedding gift. I'm partial to beagles for that reason, but love all breads. Being retired, I'm especially fond of my senior pups, but equally enthused with little pups.

Susan was great! This was our first time using Rover and we weren’t sure exactly what to expect. She answered of our questions and let us do a meet and greet first with her and Dakota. She kept us updated the whole time we were gone with pictures ! She and our dog liked kickball in the yard. We weren’t sure exactly what time we would be back but she was able to be flexible and let us keep her posted as the day went on. We would definitely recommend Susan and stay with her again!
Susan was a great sitter for our dog for a week long stay. She sent daily updates and the large yard is especially nice!

It’s easy to leave a five-star review when things go right, but it is even harder to leave such a review when things go wrong. Susan has earned it anyway. For some reason (despite having a meet and greet prior to the booking) a dog in her house at the time did not get along with mine. Instead of ignoring it or trying to minimize it (which could easily have caused both of them harm), she contacted me immediately to work out a solution. Ultimately, we decided it was best for my pup to leave. However, I was an ocean and five time zones away. After finding a sitter, she drove FORTY minutes to make sure he was secured, safe and happy. She alleviated a stress I could not manage. I will be recommending her to anyone that needs this service. She treats each animal with dignity, respect, and genuinely wants to ensure all dogs in her care are safe.

I am retired and able to be flexible with my schedule. Your pet will not go unattended in my care. Several parks are within easy walking distance.
