I’ve been dog sitting and walking dogs since i was about 8 years old, between family members and my neighbors. It feels good gaining a dogs trust and showing a dog that i respect their boundaries as well as being able to meet their physical and sometimes mental needs.

We are so happy to have Marlena as a dog sitter. She understands the two distinct personalities of our dogs, shows them lots of love and affection, and provides such wonderful updates throughout the stay with photos and even videos, putting our minds at ease when we are away. She is kind, professional, respectful, and truly a dog person - I'm not sure our dogs even missed us, and that's saying a lot!

Marlena is very attentive to the needs of each of our dogs (both have distinct personalities, one is older and one still thinks he's a puppy). We love having her!
Marlena did an excellent job at dog/house sitting All was well when we returned home. She was great with regular updates .about our dog. I would definitely use her again in the future. I would strongly recommend her.
Marlena was great during her visits, spending time with the dogs outside almost the full length to let them explore and stretch their legs as much as possible, and kept us informed with texts and pictures!
Wonderful care as always! Our dog has separation anxiety when away from us but LOVES her time spent either Marlena. A+ care and she is our regular go to now.

Schedule
I am currently pet sitting full time, so I can adjust to each dog/pet’s needs and schedules easily. Doing this full time allows me to be extremely flexible with each person when looking for someone to book with.

Safety, trust & environment
I live in a very walkable neighborhood, lots of routes to take depending on each dog’s comfortability with high traffic and low traffic areas, within walking distance to Ault park as well. Apartment is on the first floor so easy access, as well as a nice open area behind the building for quick potty breaks
A typical day
I love getting each dog I sit out and about, letting them take their time with sniffing different things. I keep tennis balls with me in case a puppy likes to play fetch and doesn’t have their own toys!
