I’ve never had a dog before, let alone a puppy, and I was of course more than anxious about leaving Ozzy overnight somewhere he’s never been! Teah assured me he’d be fine, and he was! He made buds right away with Teah’s two pups, and had a grand old time playing in the huge fenced-in backyard. Many pictures were sent to me during Ozzy’s stay and I really appreciated that constant communication assuring me he was having fun. Teah was also awesome at making sure Ozzy was crated and comfortable at night and fed three times a day to be consistent with my training. I had two dogs of my own over the last 12 years, both of which were large breeds (German Shepherd and Siberian Husky). I love dogs and enjoy having them around. I work from home all day and can spend lots of quality time with your dog(s). Your pup will get plenty of outdoor play time and potty breaks. I work from home all day so I am able to provide day care and/or overnight boarding during weekdays or over weekends. If I do have to leave for an errand I tend to separate the dogs in bedrooms and/or crates. I have a large fenced yard (over half an acre) with plenty of room for your pup to run and play. I have crates available if it is needed for your dog. I work from home all day so I am able to provide frequent potty breaks outside.
“I feel so grateful for Kim watching my dog, Ollie. She obviously loves dogs and takes wonderful care of them. Ollie likes socializing with the other dogs but he’s older and likes relaxing too. Kim’s house is a relaxing clean atmosphere for the dogs to play and can go outside when they need to. Love how she has gated the front door so no little one escapes. She sent photos and texts showing me he is content. Hopefully Kim will be available again when we go on a trip.”
About: I’ve owned cats and dogs over the years. My family raised kittens for years when I was in high-school. I also had a dog of my own for 15 years. I’m always the first to volunteer to care for friends and family members pets when they are out of town or need extra help walking them during the work week. I am currently pet free and miss having furry friends around! I work evenings so I have plenty of time during the day to walk pets and take them on adventures! I’m happy to house sit or keep pets overnight as well, as long as they can be left for 4-6 hours in the evening! Your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine are always my top priorities. I have a dog park at my apartment complex, and take lots of daily walks as well. In your home, I make every effort to keep your pet on their normal schedule, including feeding, walks, playtime, medications (if needed), and plenty of affection. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet, so I’ll always treat them like one of my own and keep you updated with photos and messages while you’re away. My 14-year-old son is gentle, respectful of animals, and has grown up around both dogs and cats, but all pet care and responsibility is handled by me.
