Janice took wonderful care of our two kittens and our cat in her drop-in visits. She was intuitive with them and was able to give them the individualized attention they wanted. We appreciated that she was practical and took care of our pets like they were her own, and she managed to get vomit out of the carpet- totally above and beyond! We hope to book with her again!

About: I've had a love for animals my entire life and have years of hands-on pet care experience. Growing up with two family dogs taught me the responsibilities of daily pet care, from feeding and walking to playtime, exercise, grooming, and making sure they always felt loved and cared for. In addition to caring for my own pets, I volunteered as a foster with Cincinnati Animal CARE, where I provided a safe and nurturing home for a foster cat. Through fostering, I gained experience helping a pet adjust to a new environment, establishing routines, monitoring their well-being, and giving them the patience and attention they needed to thrive before finding their forever home. These experiences have helped me become a compassionate, dependable caregiver who understands that every pet has their own personality and deserves individualized care. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, happy, and loved while their family is away. In addition to caring for dogs throughout my life, I also had the rewarding experience of fostering a cat through Cincinnati Animal CARE. Fostering taught me the importance of patience, creating a calm and safe environment, and helping an animal adjust to a new home and routine. I provided daily care, including feeding, cleaning the litter box, playtime, and plenty of affection while monitoring the cat's comfort and well-being. This experience strengthened my understanding that every pet has a unique personality and needs individualized care. Whether I'm caring for a playful kitten, a relaxed senior cat, or an energetic dog, I'm committed to making them feel safe, loved, and comfortable! My schedule allows for flexibility throughout most of the week. I attend classes on Tuesday and Thursday mornings, so I have limited availability during those times. Outside of those class hours, I am available for pet care services, including weekdays, evenings, and weekends. I strive to be reliable and accommodating when scheduling visits, walks, or overnight care, and I will communicate promptly to ensure your pet receives the attention and care they deserve. At my house I have a fenced in yard so my dog is protected from any of the animals around. Your dog’s safety and happiness always come first. I provide dependable care, constant supervision, and secure walks so you can feel completely at ease.

About: I've taken care of my family dog for 6 years, and I also was entrusted with my friends and family's dogs since I was 9. Currently, I am doing volunteer work and shadowing physicians as I am home for the summer from college. I am available majority of the week and weekends. I make sure to let our animals have their separate spaces for when they are in need of a rest. They also have fulltime access to food and water, and I have a fenced in yard with enough room to run around. In a client's home I will make sure your pet has food, water, and a clean place to go to the bathroom. I will ensure they are mentally stimulated with plenty of play time and cuddle time.

About: I have grown up having cats and dogs my whole life. I absolutely love taking care of them and giving them as much love as I can all the time. I have experience with walking mine and my friends dogs, and I've also volunteered with dogs and walked dogs from shelters. I currently work part time as a pet counselor at Petland where some of my responsibilities include helping take care of small animals and assisting the kennel technicians with the care of our puppies. I am newly married and am wanting to make some side money while working part time. I couldn't think of a better way to spend my free time than with dogs and cats and loving and caring for them. I am extremely flexible to help out, I was a previous college athlete and I'm very active throughout my day, I can help with dog walking, as well as looking after your pets. I am trustworthy and can guarantee I'll give your dogs/ cats plenty of kisses and cuddles. I love walks myself and love to take dogs on long walks. I can bathe them, brush them, feed them, and overall just play with them and give your dogs and cats lots of attention.

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. In college, my sister and I rescued a dog together and shared custody, which was such a special experience. Loona had been taken from her mom at just a couple weeks old, so I learned early on how important patience, consistency, and lots of love really are. I’ve been around dogs with all kinds of personalities and backgrounds, and I love getting to know each one and learning what makes them unique. I’ve volunteered at animal shelters, been dog sitting since I could drive, and grew up in a family that always had at least one dog in the house. Caring for dogs doesn’t feel like work to me, it’s something I genuinely love doing! I work 8–4:30 during the week, but since I work from home, I have plenty of flexibility to take short breaks for visits. Evenings are preferred, but I’m happy to work around schedules if needed. I care for pets in their own home, where they’re most comfortable and safe. I’m very respectful of your space and routines — having worked as a nanny for many years, I understand the importance of keeping a home tidy, following instructions, and leaving everything in great shape. My goal is always to make sure your pets are happy, cared for, and that your home is exactly as you left it… or even better!

About: I treat every dog like family. With experience in both puppy training and senior dog care, I understand the unique needs of dogs at every life stage. Whether its providing gentle, attentive care to older dogs with mobility or medication needs, I bring patience, love, and reliability to every visit. I'm also comfortable with administering meds, following special diets, and offering enrichment activities to keep dogs happy and healthy while you're away. As a part-time worker and nursing student, I’ve built a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate quality time to pet care. Caring for animals is not only a great balance to my busy routine it’s something I genuinely love. Whether it’s early morning walks, afternoon check-ins, or weekend stays, I make sure each pet gets the attention and care they need. My background in nursing also helps me stay calm, detail-oriented, and attentive to each pet’s health and behavior. In my client’s home, I aim to keep pets comfortable by following their usual routine as closely as possible. I make sure they get plenty of love, exercise, and attention whether that means walks, playtime, feeding, or just relaxing together. I’m respectful of your space and always leave it clean and tidy. If I’m caring for pets in my own home, I provide a calm, pet-friendly environment where they can feel safe and relaxed. I limit the number of pets I care for at once to ensure each one gets personalized attention. I keep a consistent schedule, maintain a clean space, and give pets lots of affection and enrichment throughout the day.

About: Hello I’m James! I’ve always loved dogs, and I know that they’re more than pets… they’re family. As a dog owner myself, I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your best friend. My dog Auggie, has taught me the value of patience, consistency, and making every dog feel safe and loved. Pet care is a big part of my life as I love walking my dog Auggie and playing with him as much as possible. Looking after a dog is something I enjoy and not just a job! I have a flexible schedule this summer which allows me to provide reliable walks, drop ins, and visits throughout the week. When caring for pets, I always try to keep their routine as consistent as possible so they feel comfortable and secure. Whether I’m in your home or taking your dog for a walk, I treat every pet as if they were my own. About: My family has had dogs since before I was born! I’ve been around dogs my entire life, and know how to take care of fur babies of all ages :) Almost four years ago I adopted my first cat. Fast forward to today, I am now a mother of two orange special needs kitties. They are my world 🌎 ❤️🐾 I currently work part time and go to school on Tuesdays and Thursdays. On school days, class starts at 9 and I will have an hour and a half between classes to let a pet out to go to the bathroom, feed them, or give them medication. Then I have another class from 1-3. After that, I will be totally free to assist any pets. I also work part time 3-4 days when I do not have school. These are usually 6-8 hour shifts, but I can adjust feedings/walking/medication administration around these times. And when in doubt, I have several well regarded Rover friends that are willing to help out on my longer shifts, with client approval. :-) I have space to keep a crate for overnight visits and live in an apartment complex with some green space to walk and explore. I am also only a few minutes away from five different parks, so lots of options to check out. I have two cats that are dog friendly, but can be separated if the dog is not cat friendly !

About: Thank you for visiting my profile. I was born and raised on a farm in Ohio with many animals to care for and had my first pony at 5 years old. Living in Vail, Colorado for 20 years, I had a pet/house sitting business, and worked for a property mgmt company. I own a vacation resort in Northern Michigan also. Currently self-employed and work from home, only needing hi speed internet. Working from home, allows me to be with your fur babies more, and give them lots of exercise and love. Athletic, active and I love being outdoors. Smoke, alcohol, and drug free with excellent references & reviews. I am also very in tune with your pet's health and have good instincts to help detect when they are not feeling well. My Healthcare & nutritional background is another asset for A+ animal care I provide. In advance, thank you for the opportunity to love and take care of your 4 legged family members. I look forward to hearing from you soon. Best Regards, JB I am self employed and can work from anywhere. All I need is high speed internet. I make my own schedule and have the freedom to take care of your pet(s). In my clients home. Blessed to work from anywhere remotely. This allows me the freedom to play with your pets and give them lots of affection and attention. I'm very intuitive with your pet and have a good sense for your pet's health. My references are stellar, and I am very responsible and trusting. .

About: I have always had some kind of animal in my home and truly because they are so amazing. I have watched many different animals for different people for many years. I have done drop ins just to let dogs out, walked them, and just truly loved on them. I respect and give the best care to all of the animals I care for. I make sure to always keep the families updated because I know how hard it can be, but I promise your fur babies will be so loved! I am currently in school fully online for my bachelors in prekindergarten. I also am working at a school as an aide and completely love it. I’m really looking to fill my summer but also have some jobs during the fall! About: Hello! My name is Rachel. Growing up, we always had cats and dogs in the home. I currently have a husky named Rosie and a westie named Stormy. Stormy is an older dog so I have experience caring for older animals. I’m so excited to meet your fur babies (: I work full-time, 8:30-5 so, depending on location, can check in during mornings, lunch break, and after work. I’m almost always available on evenings or weekends. I have a fenced in back yard and two other dogs who love to play! Typically, my other dogs stay in my back room at work so i would keep your animal separate or crated if you prefer.

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Hamilton choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.

To find sitters in Hamilton with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
