About: I'm a lifelong animal lover with hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats. Recently, I've looked after British Cocker Spaniels and Rottweilers, and I'm currently a proud cat parent to two wonderful felines who require daily medication—so I'm fully comfortable administering oral meds with care and patience. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, whether it's feeding them, changing litter, going for walks, or simply offering companionship. I treat every pet like family and make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for. I am currently not working. I can drop in anytime for walks, providing food and medication and spend time with them. Pet care is a natural and fulfilling part of my daily and weekly routine. I plan my schedule to ensure pets receive consistent attention, whether it’s morning walks, mealtime, play sessions, or quiet companionship. I build in time for check-ins, grooming, and any special needs like medication. I also make space in my week for updates to pet parents like photos, notes, or quick messages, so they feel connected and reassured. Caring for pets isn’t just something I fit in; it’s something I genuinely enjoy and prioritize. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I prioritize comfort, safety, and consistency. I make sure their routine stays familiar in terms of meals, walks, playtime, and rest all happen on schedule. In my home, I create a cozy, pet-friendly space with toys, soft bedding, and plenty of room to explore or relax. In a client’s home, I follow their instructions closely to maintain the pet’s usual environment and habits. I also keep the home tidy, respect boundaries, and send regular updates so owners feel confident and connected. My goal is to make every pet feel secure, loved, and well cared for, just like family.
About: I've taken care of my family dog for 6 years, and I also was entrusted with my friends and family's dogs since I was 9. Currently, I am doing volunteer work and shadowing physicians as I am home for the summer from college. I am available majority of the week and weekends. I make sure to let our animals have their separate spaces for when they are in need of a rest. They also have fulltime access to food and water, and I have a fenced in yard with enough room to run around. In a client's home I will make sure your pet has food, water, and a clean place to go to the bathroom. I will ensure they are mentally stimulated with plenty of play time and cuddle time.
“Kassidy was so great checking in on our cat while we were on vacation! She took amazing care of him and played with him! She was great at communicating and went above and beyond for our cat!! Would love to use her again! She’s amazing!!”

About: Life is better with dogs—and my English Bulldog, Dolly agrees! I'm a retired, lifelong dog lover and owner with 6 years of experience caring for dogs for family and friends. I offer boarding at your place (possibly with my dog, Dolly tagging along, if you are OK with it), dog walking, feeding visits, and playtime visits, all with lots of love and attention for you fur baby! I have always had dogs in my life, many reaching senior age and even a couple with medical issues, but all have been well cared for and loved beyond measure. As I said before, life truly is better with dogs! As a retired teacher and dog lover, caring for dogs fits naturally into my daily routine. I have plenty of time to dedicate to dog sitting, walks, playtime, feeding, and companionship. My flexible schedule allows me to be available most days and times, ensuring your pup receives the best attention and care possible. When caring for dogs at your location, I always provide a safe, comfortable, and loving environment where they feel safe and receive plenty of attention, companionship, playtime, and walks. It is my goal that your dog feels relaxed and happy under my care, and I will do my very best to make sure of that! Since I'm retired with a very flexible schedule, your dog will not be left alone for extended periods and we will enjoy plenty of companionship throughout the day. My English Bulldog, Dolly, is friendly, easygoing, well-behaved and gets along well with all other dogs. She enjoys having a playmate, is always happy to make a new friend, and she sleeps a lot! lol! If possible, I love to have her join us when I am sitting for other dogs. My goal is to treat every dog as if they were my own and provide owners with peace of mind knowing their fur baby is in loving hands.
About: Hello! A little bit about me: A student who is crazy about animals and would take care of your lovely friend/son/daughter (haha) as if they were part of my family . I was raised around dogs and cats and when I grow up, I decided that I would want to work for their own good. I was part of an Animal Welfare Organization in my hometown and hosted some homeless dogs and cats and took care of them until we find a new family for them. I'm so grateful for everything I've done for the animals, and if I could, I'd do way more. I live in a house with a big fenced backyard, your pet will have plenty of space to play. I also have a 1 year old very friendly Pomeranian who loves to have play dates ❤️

“Emily was excellent! She took great care of Ghita, Lilla, and Tigrana and was always available, responsive, and proactive. We felt completely at ease knowing they were in such good hands. Highly recommended!”

“Kelsey was so great with our dog while we travelled. Great communication throughout the trip and worked with us when we needed to make adjustments mid-trip. Our dog is clearly super comfortable with her and was well taken care of.”

About: I love animals and have cared for them for about 20 years as a pet owner. Professionally, I have cared for other peoples’ animals for 3 years now and pride myself on meeting and exceeding customer expectations. I am a professional ballet dancer so my schedule varies day-to-day but I always make the animals under my care a priority no matter my schedule. For best care, I only watch crate-trained dogs in my home. I have a large yard as well as a small fenced area. Cats are safely kept indoors at all times.

“Jeffrey has been a great sitter. He is always on time, excited to see my dog Ducky, and leaves detailed reports of how the visit went - would definitely recommend!”

About: Hello! My name is Mary and I have had years of experience taking care, fostering, dog/house sitting, and owning dogs! My training experience began when my family adopted a goldendoodle puppy when I was 10. My experience grew in college when I began fostering and training puppies through 4 Paws for Ability! I stayed in the club all 4 years during my education at Xavier. I graduated back in 2021 and have been teaching locally since 2022. Currently, I have a 2 year old lab named Marley. She loves to hike, swim, and run, which keeps me fairly active. This got me to thinking about signing up to help some people throughout the summer with their own dogs! If you’d like me to bring Marley with for a play date, I think she would love that! Entirely up to you. I look forward to meeting you and your dog(s)! I have a few vacations planned for the summer, so I decided to focus on 3 days a week being set aside to Rover. Monday-Wednesday is what I have put now but this can be flexible! I would prefer to care for client’s pets in their own home, as I am hoping to move this summer! I am very reliable when it comes to taking care of your pet. As a dog owner myself, it is scary and nerve wracking leaving your pets with someone you may not know well! I can assure you that I will treat your pets as if they were my own! I also have experience babysitting kids with dogs and have never had an issue.

About: I’m a 19 year old college student attending Indiana University, studying business. I have experience with taking care of both cats and dogs. Currently I have an energetic beagle and two cats whom I care for. I am great for long walks or even runs with your dogs, and I am well versed with handling cats. I am fortunate to not have any time constraints and am available to help out during the day and early mornings. I am however uncomfortable with late nights. I cannot host pets at my house since I have pets of my own. I can care for your pets at your house and do not mind having them in my car if they want to go to the dog park or a specific park to play.

About: Here’s a 25+ word experience write-up that matches your availability and stays honest for Rover: I have over 10 years of hands-on pet care experience and currently care for my own Newfoundland dog and cat. I’m dependable, communicative, and best suited for low-to-moderate maintenance pets with established routines. I’m a college student home for winter break and work as a server, so my schedule varies with a few days per week, typically lasting 4–8 hours. I plan care around my shifts, and if needed, my sister—also an experienced Rover sitter—can help check on pets to ensure consistent care. I prioritize a calm, safe environment and closely follow each pet’s routine and care instructions. I communicate clearly with owners, respect their home, and ensure pets are secure, comfortable, and well cared for at all times.
“Julie did great at looking after our cat. She was polite, responsive, respectful and kind from the start. Fred the cat took to her straight away. We’re really grateful for Julie’s help and will use her again.”

About: I am comfortable around all dogs. I have worked at a doggie daycare for the past year and I love dogs of all shapes and sizes! I can give oral and food-based medications. I also love cats! I have two dogs at home and a cat :) I cannot wait to care for your pets while you are not able to. I can work caring for your pet into my daily life, as I am a college student. For the summer, I am off, so I have a very flexible schedule. I am unable to care for pets in my home, but I can come to your home so your pets do not need to adjust to a new schedule and home.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Mason
Melissa was absolutely wonderful with our senior dog. I felt completely at ease after receiving her detailed notes from checking in throughout the day. I could tell our sweet girl was well taken care of while we were out of town. Would definitely use Melissa again in the future!

Taylor went out of her way to help us last minute. She watched our pups for three days in a row for over 4 hours each day so we could enjoy our grandsons graduation, dinner and spending time with him on our last day in Mason at Kings Island. Taylor communicated with us each day, sharing pictures and letting us know how the pups were doing. We wouldn’t hesitate to her have watch our dogs again, they loved her. The Browns
This was my first time hiring a dog sitter for drop-in services, so I was nervous. My dog is typically skittish around new people, but she immediately warmed up to Mana - bringing her all sorts of toys and wanting to sit in her lap. This was a very good sign. Mana completed three visits per day while we were out of town for three days. Her communication about my dog was excellent!! I was notified when she arrived, she sent pictures throughout their time together, and she notified me when she left. The progress reports were completed immediately after each visit. The peace of mind that I had was priceless. I will be keeping her as our long-term sitter and for checks during my long work days. I highly recommend her.

I'm new to Rover and could not be more happier that I chose to use the service and to have selected Kimberly! Kimberly is great stopped by home at my request prior to services since I was nervous day of service used lockbox to access home for dog. Honest safe communicative and sweet will be booking with her in the future!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
