About: Here’s a 25+ word experience write-up that matches your availability and stays honest for Rover: I have over 10 years of hands-on pet care experience and currently care for my own Newfoundland dog and cat. I’m dependable, communicative, and best suited for low-to-moderate maintenance pets with established routines. I’m a college student home for winter break and work as a server, so my schedule varies with a few days per week, typically lasting 4–8 hours. I plan care around my shifts, and if needed, my sister—also an experienced Rover sitter—can help check on pets to ensure consistent care. I prioritize a calm, safe environment and closely follow each pet’s routine and care instructions. I communicate clearly with owners, respect their home, and ensure pets are secure, comfortable, and well cared for at all times.
“Kassidy is wonderful! She has been doing an amazing job taking care of our golden retriever puppy who is still too young for daycare. She met Theo and us before we booked her to familiarize herself with our home and routine. Theo loooved her from the first moment. This was our first experience with Rover and we didn’t know what to expect. We are SO glad we found her! She has been super easy to communicate with over the past weeks and we really appreciate her flexibility.”

“Madigan was wonderful to work with! We were very nervous about getting a dog sitter for the first time and she made us feel completely comfortable with a meet and greet beforehand and proactive communication! Our dog loved her as well, and she wasn’t at all intimidated by his size and excitement!”

About: I have experience in training puppies and administering medication to older pups. I love taking dogs on walks and playing with breeds of all kinds! I work very part-time and am looking for something else to keep me busy during the summer when I'm home from school, so I am turning to my favorite passion, animals! I always follow instructions carefully, and prioritize the safety of your home and your pets above all else. I communicate effectively and will always be someone you can count on.

I have wide-open availability during the summer and open evenings during the school year. I’m an experienced dog owner (shoutout to my 2025 Frenchie rescue) and a devoted cat lover. Let’s chat about how I can help your pet stay happy and active! bring a 'country-raised' work ethic and 'teacher-level' reliability to your home. I’m an expert in senior cat care, Frenchie-specific needs, and I’m comfortable with everything from farm animals to house pets. I’ll stick to your routine, keep your house clean, and send you plenty of photo updates.
“Harper took very good care of our little puppy. I loved that we would get lots of pictures after each visit. Our dog seamed to love her and be playful with her. Would definitely hire her again when needed!”

“Taylor did a fabulous job with my fur babies! She stopped in for 30 minutes to let them out, spent quality time playing with them, and even tried to hand feed them to make sure they felt loved and cared for while we were away. She took great pictures and videos of her interactions with them, which gave me so much peace of mind. You can truly tell she has a heart for animals and treats them like her own. I highly recommend Taylor to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, compassionate, and attentive to care for their pets!”

About: I’ve worked in Vet Med for 5 years as a vet assistant! I also have been surrounded by animals my whole life and really enjoy being around them. I am able to do walks on the weekends for sure, as my regular work schedule allows. Don’t be afraid to reach out and ask! I’m not currently able to board dogs on my own due to being in school, I’m mostly just interested in walking at this point in time!
“Jessica did a wonderful job taking care of our 4 cats. From the moment I first contacted her, she was willing to come meet all of our cats and see our home before we were away. She was always on time and able to administer topical medicine for one of our cats everyday. We also appreciate that she took out the trash on her last day. We would be happy to have her back to take care of our babies!”

About: Hello! My name is Mary and I have had years of experience taking care, fostering, dog/house sitting, and owning dogs! My training experience began when my family adopted a goldendoodle puppy when I was 10. My experience grew in college when I began fostering and training puppies through 4 Paws for Ability! I stayed in the club all 4 years during my education at Xavier. I graduated back in 2021 and have been teaching locally since 2022. Currently, I have a 2 year old lab named Marley. She loves to hike, swim, and run, which keeps me fairly active. This got me to thinking about signing up to help some people throughout the summer with their own dogs! If you’d like me to bring Marley with for a play date, I think she would love that! Entirely up to you. I look forward to meeting you and your dog(s)! I have a few vacations planned for the summer, so I decided to focus on 3 days a week being set aside to Rover. Monday-Wednesday is what I have put now but this can be flexible! I would prefer to care for client’s pets in their own home, as I am hoping to move this summer! I am very reliable when it comes to taking care of your pet. As a dog owner myself, it is scary and nerve wracking leaving your pets with someone you may not know well! I can assure you that I will treat your pets as if they were my own! I also have experience babysitting kids with dogs and have never had an issue.
“Brendan did a wonderful job with Roscoe, our cat.. Roscoe was very comfortable around Brendan during his initial visit with us. Brendan left everything very clean. We appreciated the periodic updates on Roscoe and highly recommend Brendan.”

I can help train puppies as I have trained 2 of my own, I have helped geriatric and diabetic animals as well. I am a currently student at Ohio State and have free gaps during my day since I don’t have classes on Thursdays or Fridays. I am an active person and go on daily walks myself and so I would love to have a buddy! My apartment doesn’t have many stairs so it’s easy for dogs to come up, I have a huge park right near me where lots of dogs like to go and play.

About: I’m a 19 year old college student attending Indiana University, studying business. I have experience with taking care of both cats and dogs. Currently I have an energetic beagle and two cats whom I care for. I am great for long walks or even runs with your dogs, and I am well versed with handling cats. I am fortunate to not have any time constraints and am available to help out during the day and early mornings. I am however uncomfortable with late nights. I cannot host pets at my house since I have pets of my own. I can care for your pets at your house and do not mind having them in my car if they want to go to the dog park or a specific park to play.
About: I have been helping to care for dogs since I was 10. I grew up with golden retrievers in the home and have been around dogs my entire life. Our Rottweiler recently passed away and my daughter and her were best friends! I am not ready to have a dog back in the house full time but have realized, after dog sitting for a friends puppy, this would be a great way to help care for others pets. I work from home so I am able to take frequent breaks for walks and potty breaks. I would not make myself available to care for anyone’s pets if I knew I was going to be out of the house for long periods of time. I also have a dog park in my neighborhood. I do not have a large yard, however; I do have a dog park in my neighborhood that is large and fenced in for great exercise. We would take frequent walks with my daughter around the neighborhood as well.

South Lebanon dog parents share their Rover experiences
I just love Stephanie. And my pets do too. My cat who hides from most people ALWAYS comes out for pets. To me that confirms that my choice of sitters was perfect and that she’s a person who can be trusted. And the pictures are always fun to see and are always showing that my girls love Steph and are happy to see her.
