About: My neighbors, family, and friends always come to me when they are in need of someone to take care of their pet! I have experience with dogs of all ages and all sizes, which leaves me experienced for most pets, nor am I afraid of any breed! College is out for the summer, so I currently only have my part time job at a farm which leaves me with plenty of extra time for your pets! I treat every pet as if they were my own and make sure to follow their normal routine as closely as possible. I provide plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, fresh water, meals according to their schedule, and lots of affection. I understand that every pet has different needs and personalities, so I take the time to learn what makes them comfortable and happy.
About: Hi there! I am an incoming tOSU vet school student with 1500+ hours of small animal veterinary experience. I would love to spend my year before vet school loving on and caring for your pets! Through my vet work I have gained many animal care/ sitting opportunities. This includes but is not limited to senior pets, blind and deaf pets, pets in wheelchairs, newborn puppies, birthing puppies, and much more! I am prepared to handle any situation with advanced communication and animal care skills. I look forward to meeting your pets! Pet care has been the sole purpose of my education and veterinary experience thus far and I’m looking forward to spending my newfound free time doing exactly that! This upcoming school year I will be a part time student. I will be free in the mornings, afternoons, and evenings as needed depending on the day. Your pet’s safety is always the #1 priority and I am happy to accommodate your needs in any ways needed. Within your home I will follow any directions you may have.
“Brody really loves animals and it shows. He will go the extra mile to care for your pets. We were gone for 2 weeks and he showed our cat extra love and attention. He took good care of our chickens and made sure they were fed and watered. I would recommend Brody to love and care for your animals.”

About: I treat every pet like family — with calm, loving care and patience. I take the time to get to know each pet’s personality, quirks, and what makes them feel safe and happy. During the school year I’m available after 3 PM on weekdays and generally available on weekends. I also have much more daytime flexibility during the summer. When I care for your pet in your home, I follow your rules, respect your space, and stick to your pet’s routine so they feel safe and happy. I believe pets do best when they feel secure in their own environment, and I want you to feel at ease knowing your home and pet are well looked after until you return.

“Ann was great taking care of my two fur babies. More than just needing to be let out to go to the bathroom, they need love and affection when I am gone and she delivered. She arrived on time and cuddled with them so they felt like they weren't missing anything. I was quite happy with her services!”

About: I grew up with dogs and cats around me since I was a baby, and have always held a special place in my heart for them. When my parents, as well as family friends, would go out of town, I would frequently be responsible for feeding the animals, taking them on walks, or simply just keeping them company. My mom is a veteranrian so I have grown up with a great role model on how to treat animals in a safe and respectful way. I am home for 2 months before my study abroad trip, Dec. 21st-Febuary 10th. I have a completely free schedule until then. I am able to provide services Monday-Sunday. I have a large backyard that I can throw toys in and have 2 other dogs that can keep them company. One is a Leonberger and the other is a Jack Russell Terrier.
About: I have had pets since birth, attended dog obedience training courses with our silver lab. Assisted the Military Working Dogs while enlisted. My son and I love to be active so we will definitely make sure your baby will not be missing out! I am also comfortable with light grooming (brushing fur, etc) or administering typical medications, I.e. pills, ear drops, etc. I’m available after 5:00 M-F on weekdays, and scheduling is extremely flexible on weekends. And am available during quick lunch stops if near by. From light house cleaning, to daily mail runs, or if you have a fur rocket walks and love! I have a son (14) who absolutely adores any furry thing, so there will be no shortage of love!

“Susan is awesome and so caring! She cares for my pup just like I would! She’s very reliable and follows all the detailed instructions. I am glad to hire her again!”

About: Life is better with dogs—and my English Bulldog, Dolly agrees! I'm a retired, lifelong dog lover and owner with 6 years of experience caring for dogs for family and friends. I offer boarding at your place (possibly with my dog, Dolly tagging along, if you are OK with it), dog walking, feeding visits, and playtime visits, all with lots of love and attention for you fur baby! I have always had dogs in my life, many reaching senior age and even a couple with medical issues, but all have been well cared for and loved beyond measure. As I said before, life truly is better with dogs! As a retired teacher and dog lover, caring for dogs fits naturally into my daily routine. I have plenty of time to dedicate to dog sitting, walks, playtime, feeding, and companionship. My flexible schedule allows me to be available most days and times, ensuring your pup receives the best attention and care possible. When caring for dogs at your location, I always provide a safe, comfortable, and loving environment where they feel safe and receive plenty of attention, companionship, playtime, and walks. It is my goal that your dog feels relaxed and happy under my care, and I will do my very best to make sure of that! Since I'm retired with a very flexible schedule, your dog will not be left alone for extended periods and we will enjoy plenty of companionship throughout the day. My English Bulldog, Dolly, is friendly, easygoing, well-behaved and gets along well with all other dogs. She enjoys having a playmate, is always happy to make a new friend, and she sleeps a lot! lol! If possible, I love to have her join us when I am sitting for other dogs. My goal is to treat every dog as if they were my own and provide owners with peace of mind knowing their fur baby is in loving hands.

I had Melanie come and do mid day pet relief and walks while I was out of the country and my husband was at work. The dogs absolutely love Melanie and she did an excellent job with them. She gave great feedback after each visit. I definitely will use her again should the need arise

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Loveland with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
