“Connor took excellent care of my two senior dogs! She was very nice and very loving towards my dogs. Great with communication and punctual. Followed all directions. I highly recommend her!”
“Thanks to Julie for taking such good care of our cats! She was able to get our shy cat to come out and play and cuddle. Consistent and above and beyond care for our kitties. Thanks!”

“We’ve had Jeff take care of our dog Jack many times now. He is a fantastic sitter, always takes great care of Jack, takes him on long walks, and treats him as family. Cannot recommend him more strongly, you will love him!”

“Kylie watched our two dogs for a long weekend and was great! She took them for walks, made sure they had fresh water and food at dinner time, sent us updates throughout the visits, and was so easy to work with! I would recommend Kylie to anyone looking for help with their animals. You can tell she really cares and is someone we will definitely book with again in the future.”

“Mary is great — totally confident having her drop in and care so well for our 2 dogs while we were gone for a week. They were well cared for and she was great with communicating updates! Will definitely have her help us again!”

“Olivia is fantastic! She’s super communicative, timely and dedicated to our doggos. She maximizes the time with them, making sure they go potty and get playtime. She’s highly reliable and gets our shy dog to warm up and play.”

“Second time booking with Tori and just as happy as the first time! It feels so good to know my pets are in caring, attentive hands! I love all the photos we get and the detailed update on each cat! She’s the best!!”

“We usually use a family member to take care of our cats. Due to a scheduling conflict we needed outside help. Sara did a great job! She was great at sending several photos of my happy cats. Sara was even able to see and get a photo of my super scared cat (Odie) that no ever sees, that just doesn't happen. We asked Sara to stay for an hour to love on them so they would not feel so abandoned. She did just that and we have pictures showing how our needy/affectionate cat (Loki) just crawled all over her. The area around the food and water bowl was left clean and tidy. The liter box was cleaned regularly. Thank you for attention to detail. If they could talk I am sure they would ask for Sara again by name.”

“Victoria watched our older cat, Lucky, while we were on vacation. She was highly communicative, very caring, and sent great photos of a cat that’s pretty shy. I’d highly recommend her. We came home to a very happy kitty!”

“Megan is an amazing sitter who took great care of my special needs dog when I had to leave town for work. She gave him his insulin without any issues and gave me great notes on how the visit went. She went above and beyond in every visit and she is at the top of my list for future needs. She really kept my heart at ease when I couldn’t be home and made me feel good about leaving him in her care.”
“We had Monica let our dog out a couple times while we were gone for an overnight. She was great! We didn't have a chance to meet before hand as it was a last minute request but I was able to leave a key and instructions. She was great with our dog, filled his food and water, let him out, took him for a little walk, and even sent us a photo/updates. Would definitely recommend her if you need someone to care for your dog!”

About: Hi 💕 My name is Pin-Hsuan, you also can call me Bella! Growing up, I was always surrounded by animals — cats, dogs, fish, birds, hedgehogs, and even hamsters. Caring for pets has always been a natural part of my life. Since moving to the U.S., I’ve taken care of my own cats, helped with cat-sitting around UC, and have some fostering experience too. I’m calm, reliable, and very clean. My goal is always to make your pet feel safe, relaxed, and loved while you’re away. Whether it’s feeding, cleaning litter boxes, playtime, walks, or gentle cuddles, I pay attention to each pet’s unique needs and personality. I send daily photo updates so you always know your pet is safe and relaxed. About my schedule: I’m a musician, so my schedule is flexible between gigs. With a few days of planning, I’m available most of the time — and I can often accept last-minute requests too. However, since my schedule is varied by each week, I can’t do weekly or daily sessions. 我是一名音樂家,因為演出時間比較彈性,只要提前幾天說,我大部分時間都可以配合,也能接受臨時需求。但也因為我的工作時間比較不固定,所以我沒辦法接每週或是每天固定的行程 For boarding cats overnight at my place I have an entire floor dedicated to kitty guests, with a clean litter box and plenty of places to jump and explore. I have experience giving pets medicine if needed. 我家有一整層是專門給寄宿貓咪的空間,乾淨、舒服,也有地方可以跳、探索、休息。如果需要餵藥我也有經驗。
“Christiane was wonderful!! She was super friendly, communicated super well, and sent us beautiful photos of our two cats! She also shared very detailed updates with each visit. Would highly recommend booking with her!”

About: I am a very passionate, attentive, and empathetic person when it comes to any and all animals! For many years I have taken sole care of both dogs and cats of all different breeds, and am well experienced in all general pet care to include special needs pets. All of the dogs I ever had as a kid were trained as puppies almost solely by myself and my brothers. My mom used to make me read books and do online research about the breed of dog we had, different training techniques, K9 first-aid, and so much more. Being as passionate as I am about animals, those studies were well retained, and while I don't have professional experience, the knowledge gained from doing it on my own with 9 different dogs over my lifetime have graced me with at the very least, an in depth knowledge of all different stages of dog ownership. This knowledge was also accentuated professionally as I worked alongside military police K9 handlers during my time in the Air Force. Not to worry though, I mix structure, routine, and discipline with plenty of tender loving care, and know how to tune my approach to dogs of all temperaments. In regards to puppies: I have experience potty training, leash training, crate training, and what I would call experienced but moderate obedience training skills. I know how to deal with things like food aggression, how to properly establish the "hierarchy" or "pack mentality" and other conditioning behaviors. As well as handling young puppies, I've even assisted a momma in giving birth to a new litter, and taking special care of a brand new litter of 7 pups! So my experience with all dogs truly does begin at birth and goes all the way to end of life care. For the old timers: The couch potatoes in our lives need just as much, and sometimes even more care than their energetic and young counterparts. I have experience with things like giving medication and shots, managing specialty diets, and a number of other age specific needs. I'm very patient and am willing to take the time to get to know your pet and what they need. Every animal has a different personality and needs attention in different ways, and I'm very attentive to that! I will always treat your pet as if they were my own, and will to the best of my ability make sure that your pet is well taken care of at all times. I'm a full-time nomad and side gigs are my primary source of income. Pet care IS my weekly routine. I'm available and more than happy to abide by the normal 9-5 schedule for daytime pet care, but I can also easily adjust to fit any alternate schedule; whether you need overnight pet care, or any other odd schedule constraints met, I am available. I have lived with my own dog in a variety of different conditions. From being on our own in both houses and apartments, to having a full house of dogs and cats. I am well versed in any additional responsibilities and special care based on living situations, and have no trouble go up and down a few flights of stairs for potty breaks/walks, etc.
“Saige was absolutely fantastic! Super responsive and professional, and clearly a pet lover! I was in a pinch and contacted her on short notice and she was able to accommodate. Our Zoey pup loved her! Highly recommend!”

“Paige was absolutely amazing with my two kittens while I was away on vacation. She kept me updated, made sure they were well cared for, and genuinely treated them like her own. What really stood out to me was how attentive she was she noticed right away that one of my kittens wasn’t feeling well and immediately let me know so I could get her to the vet. I’m so grateful for her care, communication, and attention to detail. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing my pets were in such good hands. I would highly recommend Paige to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter!”

We are so grateful we found Lindsay!!! She was wonderful, and our pups were clearly happy in every photo she sent during her visits. She is very sweet and great with communication. We lost power due to a storm while we were away, and she immediatley reached out to let us know and ask what, if anything, she needed to do. From our very first meeting I felt confident about hiring her, and I would highly recommend her to anyone!! Thank you, Lindsay!!! :)

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
