About: I’ve had a dog for 12 years, so I’m experienced when it comes to taking care of dogs! I have experience walking and pet sitting for my friend’s dogs as well. I love all types of dogs. I want them to have the most positive experience possible! I work full time, but I work remotely on Mondays and Fridays. I’m looking to walk dogs after the work day or on weekends. I can also pet sit and/or check in on pets on weekends/Mondays/Fridays. I would love to hangout with your pet(s) and give lots of cuddles. I enjoy being active, so would have no problem taking your pet(s) on long walks and playing with them.

About: I do not have any experience, but what sets me apart from other caretakers is me taking care of your pet is more beneficial to me than you. Being a college student is extremely stressful, and pets have been proven to relieve stress. I work full-time; however, I am looking for pet care before and after work. I also just love walking and do so almost every day after work. I would prefer a client's home. However, I do have a Rottweiler in my home, so I know exactly how playful and messy dogs can be.

I had never utilized this app before so I was very scared at first but Sally made everything seamless. Very happy to have picked her to take care of my babies considering that cats are not the same as dogs. She immediately connected with them and I felt at easy while being away. She sent us pictures and updates every single day and was always quick to respond.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs as small as Chihuahuas and as large as Great Danes so I’m happy to accommodate dogs of any size and breed. I’ve had the opportunity to foster over a dozen strays with less than desirable beginnings, but I believe all pets can reach their full potential with love and attention. I’m high energy and active so I’ll take your dog for long walks if he or she is up for it. I have a flexible schedule so happy to work around your needs. I currently work from home and love breaking up my routine with caring for animals. Your pet would be a welcome addition to my day! Trust between a pet owner and sitter is essential and I’m always happy to do a test run before committing to any service, whether at my home or at yours.

About: I have been around dogs my whole life and of all ages. but I have specifically taken care of puppies and middle age dogs. Those dogs I have worked with the most with. I had a senior dog in my household that I took care of until she unfortunately passed from cancer and I had administered medication to her and such. I have also taken in 2 foster dogs one with separation anxiety and other medication issues due to being in the shelter. I would have to give her medication and baths on the regular due to her having multiple accidents in her crate. With the second dog they were a 2 month old puppy that I fostered for a weekend and took to an adoption event where they had gotten adopted. I want to make sure all animals are loved and cared for while there owners are away and so that the owner don’t have to worry and know there fur babies are okay. I take care of my pets at home already so it’s really just a built in thing for my schedule. It’s an easy thing to do during the day or to end your day with as well so it all just fits in nicely. And who doesn’t want to end their day with some snuggles. I want to treat my clients pets how I would want my pets treated. I wouldn’t mind any them to be pushed to the side or just be let out and then leave I would want my pets to be played with and have some attention and love before heading out just so they know that someone is looking out for them until their owners are back

About: I grew up with Weimaraners 🐾 — and thanks to some very patient parents, a few determined (and slightly sneaky 😉) cats 🐱 and other little critters 🐹 made their way into our family too. With nearly 35 years of devoted “cat mommying,” Princess 👑 — my Norwegian Forest cat — is my current fur baby and reigning queen of the house 🏡✨. My schedule is fully flexible 📅, which means your pets are never squeezed into a busy day — they’re the priority 🐾🤍. I maintain their routine in the comfort of their own home 🏡 so they feel secure, relaxed, and genuinely cared for 😌✨. I’m passionate about animals of all kinds 🐶🐱🐾 and committed to providing attentive, personalized care so your pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved 🤍 — and have a whole lot of fun 🎾🦴✨ — while you’re away. With decades of hands-on experience, I understand everything from daily routines and medication to reading subtle feline moods like a pro. I don’t just “check in.” I provide intentional, tailored care designed around your pet’s unique personality and needs. Whether it’s a structured walk, enrichment playtime, or calm companionship for a senior kitty or dog, your pet receives focused, one-on-one attention. FAQs for Drop-In Visits - Bellevue

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of June 2026, there are 2,355 sitters on Rover offering Dog Sitting across Bellevue. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

A pet sitter can provide focused care sessions, help your pet’s routine stay on track, or keep you updated on your pet’s mood and energy levels.

Whether you’re at the office for the day or traveling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer potty breaks during a Bellevue stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. For daytime services like walking and drop-ins, you can also request sitters to send a report card with every visit.

Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover to what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Bellevue choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.

To find sitters in Bellevue with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Bellevue. On Rover:

  • 96% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 96% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
