I currently work as a freelance producer - so when I'm not on set, I'm out walking dogs and dropping in on your pets just about every day of the week! The freedom of being self employed also allows me to have maximum flexibility for last minute requests if you find yourself in a bind.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a deep understanding of pet behavior thanks to my experiences as a pet parent, foster mom, doggie daycare alum, and shelter volunteer. You won't find anyone more tolerant of sharp claws, slobber, and hair balls. I have experience administering oral and topical medication, caring for senior pets, and accommodating for special needs like allergies, colitis, hip dysplasia, seizures, stitches/post-surgery care, hematomas, heat, mega-esophagus, heart conditions, belly bands, and so on. I’m comfortable with pets of all breeds, ages, sizes, and personalities.
Information Tess W. would like to know about your pet
Pets can be really sensitive to major changes in environment, and I know how stressful it can be to a pet when a stranger barges in on their turf. Whenever possible, I love having the chance to do a Meet & Greet session before we book, because I want your creature to trust me and get to know me alongside you. This eases their anxiety while you're gone, which helps to make our time together even better!
A typical day
I love the outdoors, so I always enjoy a good long walk or playtime in the yard! That being said, I'll also never pass up an opportunity to spend relaxing quality time inside with low-energy or indoor-only pets.

Reviews

Tess is absolutely fantastic. From her professionalism to attention and care, to her generosity and flexibility, not to mention reliability, it has been wonderful to work with her regularly. I just started working away from home again and it has been so comforting to know Norma is in great care with Tess. Could not recommend her more!

Tess is always an incredibly reliable and thoughtful sitter. She takes great pictures of Nora and is highly communicative. I know my cat is in great hands when I travel thanks to Tess.

Tess was so accommodating and took the time to hear our senior dogs whole history! She administered pills to him in the morning and at night and we felt like the dogs were in great hands. She’s very experienced and she was on time and took adorable pictures of our boys! ❤️ 10/10 recommend!

Tess always takes such good care of our 12 year old Norma and communicates so well. We always feel comfortable and know Tess and Norma are not enjoying their time together 😊
