About: I've been surrounded by animals my entire life and have always had a special love for pets of all kinds! I grew up with dogs and spent a lot of time at my grandparents' farm, where I would often spend time with dogs, cats, and horses. I've had at least one dog my entire life and have always been very involved in their care. Right now I have two dogs, Remi is 14, and Winston is 6, so I am very familiar with the needs of senior and younger pups. I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs. About: I’ve cared for various dog and cat breeds/personalities throughout my life, I love them all! I have some experience administering medications to dogs and cats. I am patient and consistent when it comes to following rules or a routine. I will treat your babies like they’re my own! My daily routine includes caring for my 3 kitties by playing with, cleaning up after, and feeding/watering them; I’d love to do the same for your pets! I’m familiar with special diets and administering various forms of medication, as my cats and other pets I sit, are on medicated diets and take additional medications. I currently have open availability, save a few social obligations over then next two months, but I’m flexible and communicative so we can always discuss timelines! About: I’ve always been a dog person. I took care of my neighbor’s dogs in high school and did a lot of housesitting during and after college. I’m excited to expand my opportunity here. I’ve invested a lot of time training both of our dogs since they were puppies. I also love hiking & live near several parks and trails. I am in between jobs so my schedule is very flexible! I usually walk my own dog once a day but that is easy to work around. We live in a small apartment so I will always travel to you. I don’t have enough space to bring your pets here. Working remotely, I make sure to get out for a minimum of 2 walks a day and I am flexible.

About: I regularly pet sit for friends and family. 1-3 weeks mostly; but can do just a few days as well. Private home with a fenced yard. Dog lead in yard is available. I love to walk! Short or long walks are all fine with me. I’ve been around dogs my entire life. I’ve owned 3 in my adult life. I even fostered a dog for 9 months! It was hard to give her up; but she went to a loving home. I’m honest and trustworthy and dogs just make every day better! I work a pretty flexible schedule. I’m retired so I have lots of time. If your dog likes car rides and public parks…awesome! There’s also 2-3 dog parks not far from my house I have a big yard that's about 70 yards deep and I have a secured lead in both front and back yards. For added safety, I attach an air tag to your pets collar. There are sidewalks all around my neighborhood for safe walks on a leash. I'm not a fan of dog parks. I prefer to select my walking path to ensure your pets safety. I live alone.

In the past, I would have looked to take my cat and dog to a Pet Resort – but I prefer having Ben come in to check on them because that takes away the anxiety, seclusion, and chaos of a resort. Tess was absolutely amazing with Louie and Twiggy. She stepped in on very short notice, communicated constantly, followed every instruction carefully, and treated both dogs with so much patience and affection. She sent thoughtful updates and photos, noticed small details, asked the right questions, and made sure they were comfortable, safe, fed, and cared for throughout the visit. It was obvious that she genuinely loves animals and takes the responsibility seriously. We felt completely reassured knowing they were with her and would book her again without hesitation.
