“Bill and Haley are more than I could ask for in dog sitters… once after my fight got delayed, they were willing to bring my dog Sadie out to the car at 1 am, so I wouldn’t have to drive back the next morning. They go above and beyond in attention, care and kindness. I absolutely highly recommend their services!”

“Holly sent pictures and updates of how Jaxson was doing. She was super easy to coordinate a meet and greet ahead of time so Jaxson and her dog could meet also. I'm sure Jaxson and Millie had a great time running around their fenced yard together. Highly recommend!”

“Jenny was awesome! We are so happy she was able to help us out last minute. Piper absolutely loved the long walks and great care Jenny provided. We received updates and pictures throughout her stay. We highly recommend!! Thank you Jenny!”

“Dana was so good with my little dog. My dog is 10yrs old and very shy and timid. Dana took her out for a walk every couple of hours for a walk or let her out in yard. She didn't have any peeing accidents. She was so good to her. Dana also updated me everyday and sent me pictures of my dog during her stay. Sugar my dog was comfortable. I knew Sugar wouldn't eat much while I was gone that's the way she is. I came home a day early yet I let Dana keep the whole amount as tip. I would definitely use Dana again.”

“Leeann was absolutely wonderful with our little guy. She provided regular updates and even sent some pictures. We are so happy with the decision to book Leeann and will definitely use her again for future trips!”

“Madison was the best when sitting our dog Luna! She was able to take her on very short notice which we greatly appreciated. Madison was super responsive and treated Luna so well. She gave Luna all the cuddles and gave us plenty of fun and cute photo updates. We travel a lot so Luna will definitely stay with Madison again!”

“Rachel stepped in and helped me out after another Rover cancelled on me less than 24 hrs before my scheduled travel. I’m very appreciative - and fortunate! Rachel is a pro sitter - my greyhound was well taken care of and always had company (dogs & people). I highly recommend Rachel (and family) and will have Prince visit again.”

“Kelti & Tanner were amazing as usual! Zelda always loves getting to visit her favorite sitters. They love on her like she’s their own and take the best care of her while we’re away.”

“I needed a place to board my dog for a night while my husband and I went to a wedding. Our dog has been to standard daycare facilities but isn't fond of being left alone so we didn't like the idea of her staying in a kennel. Alison was really accommodating and assured us that our sweet girl would get plenty of attention and play time with her own dogs, which is perfect because our girl loves to make friends. We were afraid that she'd have trouble settling in because she's very attached to us, but we were put at ease when Alison sent a picture of our girl sleeping on a comfy couch. They also made sure she had her allergy meds and food. This is exactly the environment and attention our dog needs to be comfortable being away from us for a bit. Thank you so much for watching her!”

“I have used Patricia several times for my girl Dolly. She always does an amazing job. This stay my girl had some ear irritation going on and Patricia let me know and even picked up some ear drops for me and gave to her. It made me feel so happy to know my girl was in great hands. We now live in Indianapolis but even planned our trip to fly out of Cincy so Patricia could pet sit for us :) Highly recommend!”

“Drei had a fantastic time. He was loved and well cared for while we were away. Tasha and Joseph treated Drei as if he was their own and communicated with us daily with pictures. We already have two more trip planned and are planning on continuing with them watching Drei when we are gone”

“Monte did a wonderful job keeping tabs on my pup! He was kind and welcoming with the introductions, as well as his furry companion. Definitely will be contacting Monte again in the future.”

“I simply cannot recommend Karen enough for your dog's vacay. She is WONDERFUL! I recent had a tough situation with my dog, Dex, coming down with a horrendous allergic reaction just in time for a business trip i had to make. And Karen stepped in, took care of him for the whole week, sent me pictures of him recovering. She was so enthusiastic to take care of him and also administer his medication on my behalf. I could not have left him with anyone else other than Karen, not even my friends, with the confidence that he will be well looked after. When I came back to town, Dex was almost back to his best and was healthy and happy! Karen, you ROCK!”
“Our girls were running to get in to see her. I have left many reviews 5 star reviews and comments but, to me, seeing how happy my girls are speaks volumes!”
About: I've been around dogs my entire life and currently have a two-year-old Doberman of my own, so I understand the care, patience, and attention they need. Friends and family have always trusted me to watch their dogs, whether it's for a day, a weekend, or longer. I'm comfortable with dogs of all sizes and personalities, and I treat every pet like they're part of my own family. My goal is to make sure every dog feels safe, loved, and well cared for while you're away. I work full-time Monday through Friday, with a hybrid schedule that gives me extra flexibility for pet care. I work from home on Mondays, Fridays, and every other Thursday, which allows me to provide potty breaks, walks, playtime, and plenty of attention throughout the day. On the days I'm in the office, I'm available after 5:00 PM for evening visits, and walks. I'm also available most weekends, making it easy to accommodate weekend getaways, vacations, or last-minute bookings. I do my best to be reliable, communicative, and flexible so pets can stay on their normal routine while their owners are away. Caring for pets has always been a big part of my life. I have a friendly 2-year-old Doberman who keeps me active, so I understand the importance of regular exercise, routine, and plenty of attention. We go on daily walks and runs, and one of our favorite stops is Paris Baguette, where the staff always loves seeing him and he gets a pup cup. There's also a dog park just a block from my home where I can take dogs to safely play and socialize if their owners are comfortable with it. Whether it's sticking to feeding schedules, giving medications if needed, or simply making sure every pet feels loved and comfortable, I care for every dog as if they were my own.
“Josephine took echo and Forest very last minute and I couldn’t be more thankful. So professional, great with my dogs, and kept them busy. She even handled my grumpy, attitude ridden echo with such grace. My boys will definitely be coming back if she will have them :)”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Park Hills
Susie was wonderful! She took great care of Maggie, made sure she got plenty of walks, and kept us updated throughout her stay with lots of pictures. It was so nice knowing Maggie was happy and well cared for while we were away. Susie was also incredibly friendly, responsive, and loved our dog. We would absolutely recommend her and would happily have her watch Maggie again!

Our dog, Buddy, stayed with Jenny for 9 nights and was very well taken care of. He got regular walks and belly rubs. Jenny also kept us updated daily with pictures and details about their day. We could tell Buddy was happy when we picked him up. He was very calm and relaxed. We were extremely happy with her care and will definitely reach out to her again for care.

Cathy was awesome with Poppy! It was our first time leaving her for over a week and Cathy made us feel so comfortable. She would send updates and pictures every day and spoiled her with lots of playtime and snuggles. We will definitely use Cathy again in the future!

A+ experience! Raider had a wonderful time, and we loved receiving the daily photos and updates. It was clear he was happy, well cared for, and enjoying himself. Kiki was kind, gentle, and truly caring—exactly what you hope for when leaving your beloved pet with someone else. We were so pleased with the experience that we’ve already booked his next stay. Perfect for our spoiled fur baby! Highly recommend. 🐾💕

Madison and Adam are the best sitters ever! They send plenty of pictures and Minnie got plenty of walks. They were flexible when I had to drop her off and pick her up a little after the original scheduled time due to flights. Minnie came back, so happy and energized. She had a mini vacation herself! I definitely recommend them to anyone.

Many sitters in KY ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
