When we arrived she took the time to have the dogs meet in her fenced yard so they could all get accustomed to each other. She was very responsive to messages and kept us updated on how she was doing. Our dog gets very anxious when away from home, hardly eats and gets worry spots (bald patches). “Hands down Lisa has been the best dog boarding experience we've ever had on Rover or anywhere else. She was responsive within minutes when we made the booking and from that point on made sure the drop-off was smooth (even though I was late!), sent frequent updates, and even checked in on how our trip was going. She took exceptional care of both of our dogs, who are seniors, and in particular our Weim, Ruger, who was recently diagnosed with canine lymphoma. Lisa made sure all medicines were administered correctly and gave the dogs plenty of walks (which they loved). When we picked the dogs up, Lisa had a beautiful poinsettia and Christmas card to hand to us. In a world that has, in some ways, become increasingly distant and cold, this act of kindness was very special and meant a lot to us as we cope with the reality of Ruger's fate.”

Lisa is a very skilled, compassionate, loving, and detail-oriented sitter. We had two dogs with her. One, unfortunately, had an unexpected critical medical event. If she had not been so extremely knowledgable, observant, and loving, we would have lost him. However, she was quick to get him life saving care and continuously provided stable care for other pup while our boy was hospitalized in critical care. Our pup was able to recover thanks to her quick actions. I cannot recommend her highly enough and will always be grateful for care for both our pups!
Cori was wonderful with our dog who suffers from pretty severe separation anxiety. It was a tough few days but they did everything they could to calm her down and make her feel safe. We appreciate how well they took care of her, the updates we got multiple times per day and how responsive she was to us.
Just the absolute sweetest and wonderful pet sitter! My doggy was cared for and spoiled beyond belief! We would absolutely use Metrica again! She went above and beyond! I had an amazing experience with them both. We were in town from NC for a wedding so not as familiar with area but i’m so happy I found this wonderful couple ahead of time. They took such great care of my english bulldog and were incredibly kind and always so attentive. My dog was on medication and can be a bit stubborn about it, but they made sure she got everything she needed without any issues. They communicated so well the entire time. They sent me lots of pictures and videos, which really helped my anxiety while I was away. I never felt like I had to constantly check my phone during the wedding reception because I genuinely felt like my dog was in the best caring hands. You can tell they really love animals and take their job seriously. They asked all the right questions and were so understanding and just overall the kindest people. My dog looked so happy and relaxed with them. I would absolutely trust them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable, loving care for their pet.
Maddie was so great! I needed someone last minute and she was quick to respond and so nice. This was my first time using Rover and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
