“Rebecca was wonderful with my cat Poe. This was my first time away from him since his shelter adoption, so I was worried about how he would react to my absence. From the photos that I received everyday, he loved her! I had photos of him playing, being pet and brushed, and of him eating and receiving treats. It took me a full year for Poe to roll over and show me his tummy, whereas he was rolling over for Rebecca within two days - she's like the cat whisperer! I felt very secure leaving Poe in her capable hands, and I will utilize her services again in the future. He has since crossed the rainbow bridge and I currently do not have any pets of my own, so I am happy to spend time taking great care of other people’s furry friends! About: I've had cats since I was a child. I grew up having to bottle feed entire litters on my own (even skipping school to do so! Lol), caring for my cats, and medicating them if necessary. About: I’ve been around dogs ever since I was a child! I grew up with 2 Beagles, Chocolate Lab, Lab mix, and a Great Dane. Now that I have moved to Cincinnati, I have many volunteer hours walking dogs and taking them on day trips through Cincinnati Animal CARE! I also have experience house sitting 2 Dachshunds, 2 Golden Retrievers, a hound dog, one blue healer, and one Yorkshire Terrier over the course of 4 years. I’m currently studying Architectural Engineering at UC so my hours of availability vary during the week. I’d be available 12-2 on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays and 3-10 on Tuesdays and Thursday’s. On the weekends I’d be available at your request! I understand that not all dogs need the same kind of attention to keep them happy! I’m comfortable playing fetch, tug of war, running around, or throwing frisbee for hours if needed but I’m also comfortable going for a nice slow walk with many breaks and lots of pets! I’m very patient when it comes to working with dogs and I prioritize making them feel safe and loved in all environments.

About: I’ve taken care of a pit bull named Jango for a year I played with him, took him for walks, fed him and showed him the love he needed. About: When Covid started, I accidentally started my business by helping a couple people who adopted dogs outside of their care knowledge. Helping them with their working class dogs (pitbull, collie, and a GSP) and establish a better owner/pet relationship made me realize that this is the right move for my future. Since then I have started my own business as well as helping others with their new family member(s). No creature is too small or large for me. My smallest dog client is 3 pounds and the largest is 215. Aside from that I have expanded my practices with lizards, snakes, cats, and birds. Let me know if you have any questions in the meantime! I am home most of the day. I do part-time work in hospice as well as part-time classes; (I have a door bachelors degree already working towards a BSN). If you have a special needs animal, I am more than happy to comply with their schedule, I just need to know in advance as much as possible. I have a fenced in yard in the back (will have a fully fenced in yard by the end of August in the front). My dogs have a semi strict schedule of activities to keep them mentally/physically stimulated. I follow suit with everybody’s dog. Everybody eats in their own crate, is provided with soft bedding to sleep on in their own crate, but exercise thoroughly throughout the day.

I did years of research and have successfully trained service dogs, prepped dogs for therapy work, and was the dog trainer at a box store for 2 years before vetmed called my name. I understand dogs need enrichment, training, and time to also just be a dog and decompress. I currently work full time Monday, Tuesday, and then my schedule varies on Thursday-Saturday. About: Family and friends started asking me to take care of their pets when I was around 15 years old. Ever since, I've taken care of dogs and cats (even a few lizards!) for people all over my hometown. I've done simple tasks like going to someone's home to just let the dogs out to potty and feed them, all the way to staying at people's homes while they're away. When I was between jobs as a teenager, I briefly worked for a local company that took care of pets on the daily. I've taken care of puppies, small dogs, big dogs, senior dogs who need meds and extra patience, etc. I have a huge heart and am a very empathetic person, especially when it comes to animals of any kind. I have always had a dog or dogs in my family, but am currently pet-less so I'll have all my love to give for your furbabies! I am currently unemployed for the next two months until I go back to school at the beginning of August. I’m very flexible when it comes to time up until then. If you continue with me until that time, then we can talk about what pet care will look like for me after that time frame. I currently do not offer care in my own home, but am more than willing to do whatever you need in your home. Walks, lots of hang out time, more than happy to find the nearest dog park to you (if your pups like others), maybe trips to the store for treats if you’re cool with it! I will always respect your boundaries no matter what.
About: I’ve always been a dog person. I took care of my neighbor’s dogs in high school and did a lot of housesitting during and after college. I’m excited to expand my opportunity here. I’ve invested a lot of time training both of our dogs since they were puppies. I also love hiking & live near several parks and trails. I am in between jobs so my schedule is very flexible! I usually walk my own dog once a day but that is easy to work around. We live in a small apartment so I will always travel to you. I don’t have enough space to bring your pets here. Working remotely, I make sure to get out for a minimum of 2 walks a day and I am flexible.

“Chrissy was great with my dog! I'm still new to rover.com and was a little nervous to leave my dog with someone I didn't know. HOWEVER, I felt comfortable with Chrissy from the start and was actually excited that Mr. Miyagi (the dog) got to stay someplace where I felt he'd be really cared for. And "cared for" Chrissy and family did! She sent me photos of him every other day and I got to see how normal life stayed for him while I was gone. Another reason I felt comfortable with Chrissy is that she has the vet tech background. Mr. Miyagi has allergies and can be a little high maintenance. I wanted someone who could recognize his allergies and respond accordingly if needed. Chrissy was great! I give her 4 "dog thumbs" up!”
