I’ve helped take care of my family dog (border terrier mix) for the last 10 years, we adopted him at 2 years old and he’s now going on 13! I understand what it’s like to walk energetic young dogs as well as take care of them in their slower senior years. I have pet sitted for cats and dogs and also have experience walking dogs for clients. I am a fourth year medical student at University of Cincinnati, so I am detail oriented and will be well attuned to your pets needs- safety is my top priority!

I prioritize daily walks and loads of affection for my dog! We often go on familiar walking routes and sometimes go on new ones to keep it interesting and fun for him. My dog is easily alarmed on walks, so I am constantly aware of my surroundings and am very attuned to motorcycles/bikes/scooters, and will make sure I have firm control of the leash in these situations. In my home, I enjoy spending time with my dog on the patio or lawn, playing fetch with a ball or a stick, giving him a kong, and of course giving him the classic belly rubs.

Avni won my heart when she volunteered to look after my two basset hounds for a week while my sister and I took a trip across the country. When I got back the puppies were not only well taken care of, they were completely cozied up to her. She sent photos when she went on walks, and kept me well up to date with everything. Highly recommend her.
Avni is an animal lover! She takes great care of her family dog, Turbo, and also gets along swimmingly with my cats and dog. She has worked in customer-facing roles before and handles every interaction with a smile and a positive attitude. Your pets will have a great time with Avni!
Avni is wonderful at taking care of our dog, who can sometimes misbehave when he sees other dogs on walks! He loves her! She is friendly and professional. Highly recommend!

Schedule
During this time in my medical training I have a flexible schedule, and am free most days. I will be doing interviews for Family Medicine residency from the months of October-January, and during those months I will fit clients in around my interview schedule.

- I would like to know whether your dog likes interacting with other dogs on walks or not, if you have a favourite route/park, or if they have any special needs or quirks I should be aware of! I would also like to know if they have any allergies or things that trigger their panic or anxiety response. It would also be helpful to know how often/ in which situations you give them treats.
