PLEASE READ CAREFULLY: I'm a teacher so I can drop in visits/walks after 4pm on weekdays, on weekends at anytime and all summer long. I’m happy to do cat boarding while I’m at work as long as your cat is litter box trained and not aggressive towards other cats. I will be out of town October 16-18 and October 23-25.

Information Heather K. would like to know about your pet
Please share what your pet likes to do as well as any special needs or dislikes (new people, other dogs, favorite hiding places, treats or toys). Also, don’t forget to let me know if you happen to come home early from a trip. For cat boarding- I ask that you verify that your cat is not aggressive towards other animals and litter box trained. Ideally, I would like to do drop in visits first to get to know your cat.
A typical day
I enjoy taking long walks and miss walking my own dog. I like to walk through downtown or area parks. I also enjoy taking care of cats who like attention from extra pets or playing with a toy. I understand some animals are a little scared and don’t want to interact with a new person right away. That’s fine, too.

Pet care experience
I've always had a dog in the house and I lost my 15 year old Boston Terrier in March of 2023. We were inseparable for 11 years. In February 2026, I foster failed and adopted my first cat, Bruce. I'm looking to make some extra money to travel and what better way to then to love on your pet.

Heather always takes great care of Archie on their walks!

Heather was great with my dog Archie! She’s obviously a very experienced dog walker and takes real care with your dog. She’s incredibly responsive and very communicative which was great!

Very helpful with senior dog, kind, and great communication.
