My schedule is very flexible over the summer, as I’ll only be working part-time, which allows me to provide consistent and attentive care. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, and extended visits throughout the day. In the fall, I’ll be starting graduate school, so my availability may be a bit more limited. However, I still plan to offer pet care and will keep my calendar updated to reflect my schedule. I’m happy to work with you to find times that meet your pet’s needs!

I also like to be aware of any household details that help keep your pet safe, such as doors, gates, or routines around walks. A typical day
A typical day with me is centered around keeping your pet happy, comfortable, and on their normal routine. I start by making sure they’re fed according to their schedule and have fresh water, then spend time giving them attention—whether that’s playtime, walks, or just keeping them company. For dogs, this can include walks, play sessions, and lots of interaction to keep them mentally and physically engaged. I’m happy to adjust based on their energy level—whether they love being active or prefer a slower pace. For more food-motivated dogs, I can incorporate enrichment activities like slow feeders or interactive play. For cats, I focus on play, enrichment, and giving them attention on their terms—whether that’s playing with toys, brushing, or just sitting with them if they prefer a calmer presence (and of course respecting their independence when needed!). Throughout the day, I’ll make sure your pet gets plenty of love and attention, while also keeping their space clean and their routine consistent. I also provide updates and photos so you can see how they’re doing while you’re away.

I’ve grown up in a multi-pet household and currently care for three dogs and a cat full-time, so I’m very comfortable managing different personalities, energy levels, and routines. From a young age, I’ve had hands-on experience caring for animals, including pet sitting for neighbors starting at 14. I have experience with a variety of feeding needs, including strict schedules, portion control, and working with food-motivated dogs (including using slow feeders when needed). I’ve also prepared homemade dog food, so I understand the importance of proper nutrition and consistency in a pet’s diet. I’m comfortable administering medications, including insulin, eye drops, and oral tablets, and I take care to follow instructions closely to ensure your pet’s health and safety. In addition, I regularly handle daily care tasks like walking dogs, cleaning up after them, and maintaining litter boxes. I’m used to keeping pets on a consistent routine to help them feel comfortable and stress-free while you’re away. I’m also attentive to changes in behavior and will always prioritize your pet’s well-being. There are times when you just can't take your furry best friend with you and maybe you just won't go because they are not allowed! We were so incredibly lucky to be neighbors with Karley and her family and because of this we knew them quite well. We felt 100% confident we could have Karley stay with our pets (yes, she managed several puppies at a time) while we were traveling! She truly loves them. Sadly, we are no longer neighbors, but she is close enough and she will always be my first choice when I need a puppy sitter. You will simply love her and so will your furry best friend!
