Your dog's new best friend
I have multiple years experience working in a doggy daycare, kennel, and shelter environment. I don't have a dog of my own quite yet, but I am working towards obtaining a certification in dog training. I worked for 5 years at a kennel, and my work there ranged from being a part of the doggy daycare in the back to customer service up front. In my time there I have become fairly knowledgeable on dog behavior, body language, etc. I have been lucky enough to care for more dogs than I could ever count, with personalities to match! They all hold a special place in my heart, and any dog under my care is treated how I would want my own pet treated. I am also working towards a certification in dog training, please message me if you'd like to discuss. I focus on compassion and understanding to build a relationship with the dogs I meet. I am happy to move at their pace and respect their boundaries if they are on the shyer side, snuggle up on the couch, or go for an adventure at a nearby park- whatever your pup loves, I would love to be their new best friend!

I do not care for pets in my own home, as my two cats are shy and take some time to adjust to new animals. But I dedicate myself to taking care of animals in their homes or if I have a dog out on a walk! I do my best to replicate the schedule and environment that pets are used to to keep them as comfortable as possible. I like to hear of any quirks that may be helpful in making your pet more comfortable.

Abby good great care of Murphy and Sam. We got lots of photos and communication. It is so comforting to know they were in such good hands.
I had a last minute emergency surgery for my dog that required him needing extra care and attention. Abby was so gracious in accommodating everything Nitro needed. She is very knowledgeable with animals in so many ways.
Abby did a wonderful job house-sitting/pet-sitting for Rosie and Maverick. She also watered a few plants - helping to keep them alive and ready for outdoor planting. We highly recommend her for caring for large-breed dogs!

Abby does great with animals! My hyper active puppy has a great time walking with Abby! I highly recommend booking with her to watch your fur babies!
Abby is amazing! She took great care of my dogs - one huge and unsocialized, the other elderly. She is caring and responsible. She made me feel very comfortable that all was well while I was away. She also straightened up and left the light on for me the night of my return. I definitely recommend Abby and will hire her again!

Programa
Pet care is always my top priority, both for my own and any pets I’m watching or caring for. I schedule my hours at work to be able to accommodate the animals I’m caring for. I tend to work mornings/ afternoons, and am able to stop in for a mid day potty break if needed.

- I would like to know energy level, size, temperament, and how much attention they like. I also love to hear little fun facts about the personality of the dog. Anything that could be helpful in making sure they get all the attention they deserve! I don’t have any breed preferences, I love mixes and purebreds alike :)
