I work remotely so as long as I bring my laptop, I can work anywhere! This gives me A LOT of freedom to chill with your animal throughout the day ☺️ We can go on mid day walks! Or cuddle on the couch! Whatever vibe your animal wants is the vibe we will have. On days that I am off work, I may have more open availability. So please feel free to message me and ask!

I like to spend as much time as possible with the fur baby I am sitting for. While house sitting, I visit in the mornings, afternoons, and nights. If you would like me to spend the night at your home with your pet I am willing to do that also! Please feel free to request! Every time I visit, we will go on a walk, play, cuddle, and follow whatever feeding schedule you have planned for them. During walks, I try to stay out for at least 30 minutes-1 hour. The more exercise the better! I try to run with the dog for a few minutes if they want to go fast! Dogs are happiest when they are sleepy from a fun day when bedtime comes!

No breed preferences! If your dog is friendly, they are the perfect companion for me! I am willing to housesit for families with cats too! I love kitties and have two of my own at home.
A typical day
I love to play fetch or teach tricks like "sit" or "turn around." I love to go on walks! Especially by the water! My favorite places to walk are parks with lakes or big ponds with enough shadey areas to cool off if it's hot outside. While house sitting, I tend to adopt the dog as my own for a little while. I love to cuddle and hope to have your dog with me every moment of the day! Whatever activities your dog enjoys, I enjoy too! We will have a blast together and send you pictures to give you peace of mind while your dog is having fun with me.

Hello! My name is Alexa. I have TONS of animal experience! Most recently I was a Doggie Daycare Manager. I was responsible for caring for all of the animals and catering to their specific feeding/ behavioral needs. I would help them integrate into big play groups and learn better socialization skills. I would introduce new training tactics and positive reinforcement through playing. It was a blast! After my job at the doggie daycare, I would volunteer at the cat rescue near me. This is where I realized I had a love for many animals not just dogs! After growing attached to the kitties, I rescued two and brought them home. I have been the happiest and proudest cat mama ever since! After college, I gained experience in behavioral therapy. I gained my certification to be a Registered Behavior Technician. I specialized in providing behavioral therapy to children and teenagers. This is when I noticed my love for analyzing behavior! So I decided to give a job in animal behavior a try and I LOVED it! Now I am looking to have my own animal caretaking buisness that is more relaxed so I joined rover! I am pretty new to this app but I still hope you will give me a chance! I am very experienced in all animal needs including giving medication, following a feeding schedule, and any thing else your animals may need! I have been a dog owner since childhood. Personally, my dog is my best friend! I would adopt your dog into my family and provide them with endless love for as long as they are with me! I have two kitties as well that are my little angels. I love them so much! I have experience in overnight care with dogs, cats, turtles, fish, birds, and bunnies. I am able to provide bathing, house sitting, walking, and fun! Your furry friend will be able to go outside at least once per hour while we are together. A exercised dog is a happy dog! Thank you for your consideration! I look forward to hearing from you!

Alexa house sat for our almost 16 year old dog named Elvis. We were concerned about the stress of him being boarded away from home at such an old age. She was wonderful! She came over and met Elvis and us prior to our booking her services. She kept in contact as the date came closer and sent daily pictures of our pup with status while we were away. She contacted us the day we were coming home to make sure our flight was on time and that Elvis would be ok if she left at the time we had designated. Alexa even helped get our mail and brought in some packages that were delivered while we were gone. We would definitely use Alexa again.
We used Alexa twice within the first week we met her and we are very happy to have found her! Lexi enjoys her visits and we feel very comfortable knowing that Alexa is taking good care of her!
Alexa is the BEST! Kiko had a very hard life before we adopted her last June, and is very fearful. I don't know what it is, but Alexa brings out something in her, and she just loves having Alexa around. I say that we didn't pick Alexa, Kiko did, and that is 100% true. It is very comforting to us that we have found someone so tuned in with Kiko. Thank you Alexa
