About: Doggies have been a fascination of mine for as long as I can remember. You could say I’m Dogs’ Best Friend! I’ve cared for pups as small as Yorkies and as big as Golden-doodles. Not only do I love dogs, I’ve been told that all dogs love me! Currently, I’m a Stay-at-Home Fur Mama. I own an in-house Wedding Planning Business so I have a plethora of time during the 9-5 to devote to your babies! We have a fenced in yard and a sweet 15-month doggo that loves making friends! Our neighborhood is perfect for walking our baby. I’d love to walk your dog in your neighborhood, at a park, or wherever your preference may be.

About: I currently work as a veterinary technician and have been in the veterinary medicine field for six years. Growing up, I had a feisty miniature dachshund and a goofy golden retriever. When I moved out, I got my own dynamic duo over the years- a chihuahua mix (Brulee- like the dessert crème Brulee) and three years later an Australian shepherd mix (muffin). Brulee was a very opinionated and particular girl while muffin is a gentle soul and afraid of her own shadow. I am fear free certified and have been since I entered the vet med field, it is something that is very important to me and I practice it with every animal I interact with. I am comfortable with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and ages. If they have special needs, behaviors, or quirks please tell me everything- I want to know all about your pet! Their comfort as well as yours is of the upmost importance to me. I love taking dogs on walks and hikes, allowing them to set the tone and pace- if they want to speed walk, we can do that or if they want to take a leisurely stroll sniffing every blade of grass that is fine too. I will keep your dog leashed the entire time we are out of the house, unless we are in an enclosed backyard. I do not take dogs to dog parks, unless have a well-established recall and if you request me to. However your pet wants to play, I am game- we can play ball, tug of war, hide and seek, or treat puzzles- whatever gets them excited! I am happy to medicate and feed your pet as needed. I prefer to meet you and your fur baby beforehand to ensure safety and it is a good fit! I currently work from home full time and pick up shifts at clinics when I can. My schedule hours vary so I can be available at normal or obscure hours. As long as we can find a window to make it work, I am happy to be flexible for you and your fur baby! I will care for your pets and home like I care for my own. If your pet has specific needs or if you have special requests, I will do my best to fulfill them to keep you and your pup happy, safe, and comfortable!

About: Animals have always liked me, even the ones that "don't like people" have magically liked me and I take that as the highest compliment! I've taken care of a wide variety of pets my whole life, so I'd feel comfortable caring for your furry, scaled or feathered friends like they were my own! My day job is taking care of people as a Physician, so I promise to be kind, trustworthy, loving and patient with your fur babies so they get the care they deserve while you're away. I work remotely with plenty of flexibility in my schedule for drop-in visits or walks in the Fairfield area so your pets can be comfortable and well taken care of while you're away. I am happy to follow any specific instructions for your pets to make sure they have exactly what they need to thrive. Beware, I have been known to give too much love, attention and treats to cute pets...so yours may be spoiled if you choose me to take care of them. I will do whatever is needed for your fur babies while you're away. Whether it's walks, playtime, meals, cuddles or trips to the park, I'll make sure they are well taken care of. I will make sure your home is left exactly the way I find it and will treat your space with respect while I'm there.

I immediately felt at ease with him. He carried some heavy cat litter down my steps into my basement and did the litter boxes. He's very kind and although my cats really didn't meet him today I feel very comfortable in leaving him his care.”

About: My family loves animals and we would love to take in your pet for the day! We have a dog park and love to go on walks during the evening. Cats are also welcome as we love to snuggle them ❤️. Your pets will be safe and loved in our care and I am able to communicate with you over phone as much as you need during their stay. We currently just moved from an apartment to a townhome so we have a bit more space now for the animals to lounge around and play! I’m a full time at home mom! Taking care of animals makes me so happy. I always hoped to go into Veterinary medicine one day. Right now I have all the free time in the world to take care of your pets when needed ❤️ Pets will be able to run and play in our home. Feeding will depend on how often you need me to feed. Potty breaks often. Dog park on days with nice weather or walks through the trails in our neighborhood!

About: I have a little over 3 years of experience caring for my friends and family’s dogs. They have entrusted me in walking their furbabies when they are unable to, feed and bathe them while they are away, and watch them for extended periods of time. I am currently available Monday-Friday after 4 pm to walk your dogs, or check in on them and feed them if you are away. Weekends I have an open Availability. And for extended stays I am available whenever. I do have a full time job however, I work 10 mins up the road and can check in on the dogs while on break. I live in a gated community and we have plenty of outdoor space to walk your dogs or let them out for some freedom. I do have a 7 yr old son who loves to play and entertain dogs.& I have a cage available if need be however they are free to roam the house.

About: We both grew up with dogs and have always loved them. We are proud owners of 2 rescue dogs and love socializing our pups with new dogs and new experiences. Rachel previously volunteer trained service dogs for 4 Paws for Ability. When your pup stays with us, we will spend time playing, walking, running, visiting a local dog park, or cuddling on the couch. We use positive reinforcement to train dogs and correct behavioral issues. We are happy to provide baths if the dog gets dirty with us. Dogs must be up to date on shots. We are mostly available on weekends, since Rachel works as a school counselor during the week and Nick works in finance. We hope you choose us to watch over your precious pups!

About: I have had at least one pet from the day I was born. I’ve also dog sat for my family many times. I helped train my own and others dogs the basic commands. I am a college student, with a very flexible schedule when I am home for breaks. So, I have plenty of time to play with, watch, and care for your pet(s). I am attentive and active when caring for pets. I can easily follow any care instructions and build a bond with the animal. I make sure to pay attention to how they are responding to me / things to avoid any incidents.

About: I have decades of animal care experience, but I am also passionate about animal care and behavior. I've taken care of dogs and cats of all ages, from newborn animals to senior animals at the end of their life, and in many different contexts, including shelter animals, farm animals, and housepets. I also have extensive experience with farm animals such as horses, and have also cared for birds, insects, fish, and reptiles. I love getting to know each animal: their personality, likes and dislikes, and how they interact with the world. I treat each animal like the individual they are and get to know their particular care and routine. I do the best I can to help the animals I care for to feel comfortable and safe. What I am particularly experienced in: -Caring for senior dogs, including those who need meds or need aid in mobility -Caring for multi-animal households I am currently in-between jobs, so my schedule is completely open. I do not currently have any commitments, so I am able to dedicate my time to pet care. I make it a point to be safe and communicative throughout anytime I care for or petsit an animal: -Before I take care of any animal, I make sure to meet them and their owner together. This allows the pet to meet me, a new person, while having an already familiar person with them. This helps pet be more at ease and helps me to see how the pet feels when they are more comfortable. Meeting the pet beforehand allows us both to get to know each other, which will make for a more safe and pleasant experience when I go to care for that animal for the first time. At this same meeting, I can talk with the owners to learn about the animal, such as their background and any medical concerns. -While petsitting, I update the owners at least once a day as to how their pet is doing. If there is an issue, I make sure to immediately contact the owners with my concerns. -While caring for the animal, I always carefully watch their body language and behavior. I act in a calm manner and try to help animal feel at ease. I make sure to ask the owners about sources for anxiety for their pet, such any fears the animal may have or any areas the animal does not like being touched, so that I am aware. -Before leaving, I always check that the animal is safe and secure, such as crating an animal in needed, putting harmful things out of reach, and double checking doors are locked.
