About: I’ve grown up with dogs. I got my dog in college and have been dedicated to his care no matter what. Through moves and full time jobs, he has always been #1. He is a senior now and needs a little extra attention in regards to mobility, so I am comfortable with that. When he was younger he had BOUNDLESS energy as well and was eager to please. I’ve seen both sides and love them and all the traits in between Pet care is a 24/7 deal. They give us unconditional love so we should always be dedicating ourselves to the same. Daily walks, exercise and for sniffing are both beneficial and also just someone to sit by and patrol the neighborhood I care for pets how their owners would because that’s what will make the dog the most comfortable with a new person in their environment. About: I spent 24+ hours volunteering at Cache Valley pet Hotel as a kennel technician and receptionist ensuring every client was up to date and comfortable. I am available for daycares Monday through Friday at 9a-5p, as well as overnight from 5p-9a. I can do Saturday and Sunday for drop-in from 12p-5p. I always follow a routine whether it’s the client’s or my own: potty breaks every 3 hours, feeding 2-3 times a day, playtime 1-2 a day for an hour (depending on client preference).

I worked with dogs on leash training, housebreaking, and socialization. I am retired. I have nothing but time on my hands! I volunteer Thursday mornings at an equine therapy barn. But I will still have time to take care of animals on Thursdays. I am open to caring for dogs in my home. But! They have to be dog and cat friendly. I would prefer not to have younger dogs, only because my dogs are older and don’t like young dogs, jumping all over them. My dogs are very dog friendly though. My cats are very dog friendly. In fact, they prefer dogs over our cats!

About: I have always loved animals and aspired to be a veterinarian. I will genuinely care for your dogs and treat them as if they were my own. I am a full time school psychologist with a husband and two young children. I will be available to care for pets on weekends and evenings. If close enough to my work, I can let dogs out on my lunch break. I have a fenced yard with two dogs. A lab and golden retriever mix and a bichon/maltese. I also have two cats. We have structured feeding and time outside for the dogs. The cats are indoor and regularly have food out and balance their feeding over time. I can also do basic grooming.

During the school year, I’m at work weekdays from 8:00 AM to 3:45 PM, but I’m available for early mornings, late afternoons, evenings, and overnight stays. Weekends are more flexible, though I do work a short 4-hour shift every other Saturday and every Sunday. I treat your home with the utmost respect because I know I’m not just caring for a pet—I’m caring for a member of your family. As a fellow pet parent, I understand how important trust, safety, and consistency are. I grew up with animals and currently have a dog of my own, so I’m confident in handling daily routines, providing comfort, and creating a calm, loving environment for your pet while you’re away.

About: I've had pets all my life and have been pet sitting since I was 12. I have experience walking, bathing, feeding, and cleaning up after various pets. I'll be in college this upcoming semester and only taking 4 courses so I'll have time to give plenty of love and attention to your pets! I have a cat named Donut. I clean his litter box every couple of days, make sure he has plenty of dry food and water, and feed him wet food 4 to 5 times a day because he is old and hungry.
About: I've been caring for animals for nearly 10 years- cats, guinea pigs, dogs, and other exotics, I've cared for it all! I am also a proud cat mom to 2 cheeky furballs! I work full time 8:30-4:30 Monday through Friday, and my weekends are usually very if not completely free! I typically go on an hour walk every day during the evening (weather permitting) to end my day! When caring for a client's pet I try to keep things simple and stick to whatever their routine is to ensure the furbabes are comfortable and feel safe with a new face popping in and taking care of them.

“With the right sitter, I think having our dogs stay in a person's home is significantly less stressful than staying in a standard boarding kennel. This was definitely the case with Amanda and her family. Our boys, Mack (a doberman) and Luke (a Miniature Schnauzer), did very well there and got along well with their family dog and cats. Mack had some intestinal problems while we were out of town and Amanda went the extra mile to make sure he was well cared for and recovered without issue. She also provided regular updates on our boys even though we had no expectation of this, which was great. When I came to pick the dogs up, I saw them lounging in the front room before they knew I was there. They looked right at home. We wouldn't hesitate to have Amanda take care of our boys in the future.”
