Availability
I currently work full time Monday-Friday from 7-4, however I am fully remote and my job is relatively flexible. Working from home makes life easy as I can take time on my lunch break to do a quick walk or drop in with your fur babies. I’m also available before 7am and after 4pm on weekdays and available on the weekends. I do get bank holidays off and a decent amount of PTO which allows even more flexibility 🙂

Let me know if your pet has any special needs including dietary restrictions or if they are slow to warm up to new people and the best approach to gain their trust. If your dog is reactive and needs a little extra space from other dogs or people while on walks just let me know and I’ll be sure to accommodate them however necessary. Being sure your pet feels safe and comfortable while you’re away is my top priority.
A typical day
I love anything from going on long walks, playing fetch, doing basic training, to even just sitting on the couch soaking in all the cuddles 💕

Pet care experience
Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I currently have a cat and a 3 year old pit/cattle dog mix. I have owned multiple dogs over the years, including reactive dogs, which gave me hands on experience with different personalities, behaviors, and needs. I worked closely with a professional trainer in the past and gained a lot of confidence in handling and understanding dogs of all kinds. Because my entire family has dogs, I’m constantly around animals and genuinely love spending time caring for them. I understand that every pet is different and that some are energetic and social, while others need patience, structure, and a calm approach. Whether your pet loves playtime, walks, cuddles, or just having a comforting presence around, I’ll make sure they feel safe, cared for, and loved while you’re away!

I have known Mary for several years now. We started as coworkers and turned into friends. A few years back, I was going on a vacation and was struggling to find someone to watch my dog and cat, who are like family to me. Mary offered to help, and has been caring for my animals ever since, whenever I need her. She truly treated my animals like they were her own. She sent photo updates, took my dog on daily walks, and overall was a compassionate, caring pet sitter. I cannot think of a better person to trust with the care of those you hold closest to you, quite like Mary. She will make an awesome Rover.
I’ve know Mary for close to five years. I’ve helped train a couple of her personal dogs, and not only is she an incredible dog guardian, she also has a good understanding of dog behavior and how to work through particular situations. I think she would make a wonderful Rover. She is compassionate, patient and loves working with dogs.
