About: Doggies have been a fascination of mine for as long as I can remember. You could say I’m Dogs’ Best Friend! I’ve cared for pups as small as Yorkies and as big as Golden-doodles. Not only do I love dogs, I’ve been told that all dogs love me! Currently, I’m a Stay-at-Home Fur Mama. I own an in-house Wedding Planning Business so I have a plethora of time during the 9-5 to devote to your babies! We have a fenced in yard and a sweet 15-month doggo that loves making friends! Our neighborhood is perfect for walking our baby. I’d love to walk your dog in your neighborhood, at a park, or wherever your preference may be.

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I currently have a cat and a 3 year old pit/cattle dog mix. I have owned multiple dogs over the years, including reactive dogs, which gave me hands on experience with different personalities, behaviors, and needs. I worked closely with a professional trainer in the past and gained a lot of confidence in handling and understanding dogs of all kinds. Because my entire family has dogs, I’m constantly around animals and genuinely love spending time caring for them. I understand that every pet is different and that some are energetic and social, while others need patience, structure, and a calm approach. Whether your pet loves playtime, walks, cuddles, or just having a comforting presence around, I’ll make sure they feel safe, cared for, and loved while you’re away! I currently work full time Monday-Friday from 7-4, however I am fully remote and my job is relatively flexible. Working from home makes life easy as I can take time on my lunch break to do a quick walk or drop in with your fur babies. I’m also available before 7am and after 4pm on weekdays and available on the weekends. I do get bank holidays off and a decent amount of PTO which allows even more flexibility 🙂 While I’d love to welcome every pet into my home, I have a reactive dog of my own, so I currently only offer care in clients’ homes through drop ins, walks, and house sitting. The safety and comfort of your pets and mine will always come first 💕

I’m currently a veterinary technician student as well. Your Companion deserves Time, Love, and Care and my purpose in life is to provide them that. I’m very passionate about this line of work. As a current full time Remote Veterinary student, I have plenty of time to spend with your pets. I’m available 5 days week in the mornings and afternoons. When I care for your pet in your home my routine is to treat them like family and your home like a sacred space. I am more than willing to respect all boundaries put in place in order to do my job properly. I am a helicopter pet parent so your little guy or gal is safe with me.

About: I have several years of experience caring for dogs and cats. I’m responsible for feeding, walking dogs, cleaning litter boxes, and making sure pets are safe and comfortable. I’m familiar with different temperaments and can handle both energetic and shy animals. I’m reliable, patient, and pay close attention to each pet’s needs. I am a teacher full time so in the summer I am fully open to watch your animals! I can do walking, staying overnight, check ins! I do not have a fenced in yard at my house so I am well versed in always having a leash on my dogs! I have watched a variety of dogs and cats as well!

About: I absolutely adore animals and have never lived a life without them. I adopted my very own sweet dog Sage at 18 (as soon as I was old enough) and she has been the light of my life. She has taught me a lot of patience and responsibility at a young age. She is definitely a wild girl but I wouldn’t trade her for the world! Since I have a dog I am pretty used to all of the craziness that comes with them like leash pulling, weird eating habits, mess, and of course slobber! I currently nanny from 9:00-5:00 Tuesday through Thursday so I am try to find something to fill that Friday-Monday gap! As I spend those days walking and caring for my own pup I figured I might as well look to see if I can help others! I am a very alert person when it comes to my dog as she is very shy and scared around certain things so I would have course be the same with anyone else’s dog! I would never want to put someone else’s baby in harms way so I am very cautious.

About: I have grown up having cats and dogs my whole life. I absolutely love taking care of them and giving them as much love as I can all the time. I have experience with walking mine and my friends dogs, and I've also volunteered with dogs and walked dogs from shelters. I currently work part time as a pet counselor at Petland where some of my responsibilities include helping take care of small animals and assisting the kennel technicians with the care of our puppies. I am newly married and am wanting to make some side money while working part time. I couldn't think of a better way to spend my free time than with dogs and cats and loving and caring for them. I am extremely flexible to help out, I was a previous college athlete and I'm very active throughout my day, I can help with dog walking, as well as looking after your pets. I am trustworthy and can guarantee I'll give your dogs/ cats plenty of kisses and cuddles. I love walks myself and love to take dogs on long walks. I can bathe them, brush them, feed them, and overall just play with them and give your dogs and cats lots of attention.

About: I am a responsible mom of kids and animals. I currently have 3 dogs and 2 cats. From a young age, I have had many pets, worked in a vet office and volunteered at an animal shelter. We have fostered many dogs and cats. I love animals, and I will love your animals as if they were my own. I can give medication, walk them or even take them to dog parks. We take our dogs camping, hiking, and kayaking and they love it. I am a homeschool mom of teenagers. This means I am flexible on my time and availability. We are home a lot, so your pets are not left alone long. I have a fenced-in yard, and I can attend to almost anything your pets would need or the client would like me to do to care for their pet.

About: Thank you for visiting my profile. I was born and raised on a farm in Ohio with many animals to care for and had my first pony at 5 years old. Living in Vail, Colorado for 20 years, I had a pet/house sitting business, and worked for a property mgmt company. I own a vacation resort in Northern Michigan also. Currently self-employed and work from home, only needing hi speed internet. Working from home, allows me to be with your fur babies more, and give them lots of exercise and love. Athletic, active and I love being outdoors. Smoke, alcohol, and drug free with excellent references & reviews. I am also very in tune with your pet's health and have good instincts to help detect when they are not feeling well. My Healthcare & nutritional background is another asset for A+ animal care I provide. In advance, thank you for the opportunity to love and take care of your 4 legged family members. I look forward to hearing from you soon. Best Regards, JB I am self employed and can work from anywhere. All I need is high speed internet. I make my own schedule and have the freedom to take care of your pet(s). In my clients home. Blessed to work from anywhere remotely. This allows me the freedom to play with your pets and give them lots of affection and attention. I'm very intuitive with your pet and have a good sense for your pet's health. About: I’ve taken care of dogs my entire life, and not only that, but I work at a doggy daycare and boarding place, so I feel I have alot of experience. I also once majored in biological sciences pre veterinary, so I have a lot of prior animal knowledge. My highschool was also a career tech school for animals. I currently am working a second job, but only part time so I have a lot of free time. I am fully free during the week, and weekends I work 7-3 usually, but I also live in a home where we all love to take care of animals, so if they were to board there is always someone at home to look out for them. I don’t have a fenced in yard, however I do have a very safe neighborhood, so I am willing to take animals outside on a leash, on a walk, etc. I also have alot of open space in my home for play/ exercise. I have one dog who is a Japanese chin, very tiny very sweet dog, she gets along with anyone and is the most loving girl. I have a cat also, the sweetest cat you will ever encounter. She loves to play with my dog and greet new people who come in our home.

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. In college, my sister and I rescued a dog together and shared custody, which was such a special experience. Loona had been taken from her mom at just a couple weeks old, so I learned early on how important patience, consistency, and lots of love really are. I’ve been around dogs with all kinds of personalities and backgrounds, and I love getting to know each one and learning what makes them unique. I’ve volunteered at animal shelters, been dog sitting since I could drive, and grew up in a family that always had at least one dog in the house. Caring for dogs doesn’t feel like work to me, it’s something I genuinely love doing! I work 8–4:30 during the week, but since I work from home, I have plenty of flexibility to take short breaks for visits. Evenings are preferred, but I’m happy to work around schedules if needed. I care for pets in their own home, where they’re most comfortable and safe. I’m very respectful of your space and routines — having worked as a nanny for many years, I understand the importance of keeping a home tidy, following instructions, and leaving everything in great shape. My goal is always to make sure your pets are happy, cared for, and that your home is exactly as you left it… or even better!

About: Hello I’m James! I’ve always loved dogs, and I know that they’re more than pets… they’re family. As a dog owner myself, I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your best friend. My dog Auggie, has taught me the value of patience, consistency, and making every dog feel safe and loved. Pet care is a big part of my life as I love walking my dog Auggie and playing with him as much as possible. Looking after a dog is something I enjoy and not just a job! I have a flexible schedule this summer which allows me to provide reliable walks, drop ins, and visits throughout the week. When caring for pets, I always try to keep their routine as consistent as possible so they feel comfortable and secure. Whether I’m in your home or taking your dog for a walk, I treat every pet as if they were my own. I know how important communication is, so I’ll send regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for.

  • 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 97% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
