“Carrie is awesome! She responded to our request right away, and communicated well with us. I love that we can trust her with our animals and that she takes such great care. Thank you Carrie! :)”

About: I have several years of experience caring for dogs and cats. I’m responsible for feeding, walking dogs, cleaning litter boxes, and making sure pets are safe and comfortable. I’m familiar with different temperaments and can handle both energetic and shy animals. I’m reliable, patient, and pay close attention to each pet’s needs. I am a teacher full time so in the summer I am fully open to watch your animals! I can do walking, staying overnight, check ins! I do not have a fenced in yard at my house so I am well versed in always having a leash on my dogs! I have watched a variety of dogs and cats as well!
About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I currently have a cat and a 3 year old pit/cattle dog mix. I have owned multiple dogs over the years, including reactive dogs, which gave me hands on experience with different personalities, behaviors, and needs. I worked closely with a professional trainer in the past and gained a lot of confidence in handling and understanding dogs of all kinds. Because my entire family has dogs, I’m constantly around animals and genuinely love spending time caring for them. I understand that every pet is different and that some are energetic and social, while others need patience, structure, and a calm approach. Whether your pet loves playtime, walks, cuddles, or just having a comforting presence around, I’ll make sure they feel safe, cared for, and loved while you’re away! I currently work full time Monday-Friday from 7-4, however I am fully remote and my job is relatively flexible. Working from home makes life easy as I can bring my laptop anywhere, (with your permission) and work while attending to your fur babies ☺️. I am fully available on weekends and most holidays as well! While I’d love to welcome every pet into my home, I have a reactive dog of my own, so I currently only offer care in clients’ homes through drop ins, walks, and house sitting. The safety and comfort of your pets and mine will always come first 💕
About: I have taken care of many kinds of dogs for friends, family, and animal shelters for many years. I am a reliable and caring dog walker and sitter. And I love cats too!! I am currently in between jobs and have a lot of free time to walk, play with, and care for your dogs and cats during the week! I also have availability during weekends! I am dependable, calm and caring when it comes to your pets! When pet sitting for friends and family, I always work to keep their fur babies on their schedule and regular routine.
About: I’ve cared for many types of animals of different shapes and sizes in various animal shelter, grooming, and veterinary settings. From pets, to livestock, and exotic reptiles. I’m currently a veterinary technician student as well. Your Companion deserves Time, Love, and Care and my purpose in life is to provide them that. I’m very passionate about this line of work. As a current full time Remote Veterinary student, I have plenty of time to spend with your pets. I’m available 5 days week in the mornings and afternoons. When I care for your pet in your home my routine is to treat them like family and your home like a sacred space. I am more than willing to respect all boundaries put in place in order to do my job properly. I am a helicopter pet parent so your little guy or gal is safe with me.

“My dog, Maze, and I worked with Amber for several months with walks twice a week, she was always on time and left detailed information about how the walk went. I really appreciated Amber’s help and I know Maze loved her time with her.”

About: I grew up having dogs and cats. Ever since I was 6-7 I have had multiple pets and have helped take care of them. Whether that be giving them baths, feeding them, or going for walks. I absolutely LOVE animals and would love to take care of yours! I have a remote job that I am able to do anytime, anywhere. This is what makes pet care so easy and attainable for me because I am home all day and can provide care. I provide attentive, loving care for both cats and dogs, whether in my home or in the client’s home. I make sure pets have a safe, clean, and comfortable environment with fresh water, nutritious food, and, for cats, a clean litter box. Dogs get plenty of walks, playtime, and attention, while cats enjoy affection, toys, and cozy spaces to relax.
About: I live with a poodle and am experienced in daily pet care, including walking, feeding, and companionship. I have also cared for dogs, cats, and birds, and take pride in providing reliable, loving care. I am currently flexible at the moment. This is because I am currently an Independent Contractor Full time. Monday - Sunday works great for me. I am willing to offer service at the pet parents home. I am open to dogs, cats and birds. Any other animal I would be willing to discuss
About: Thank you for visiting my profile. I was born and raised on a farm in Ohio with many animals to care for and had my first pony at 5 years old. Living in Vail, Colorado for 20 years, I had a pet/house sitting business, and worked for a property mgmt company. I own a vacation resort in Northern Michigan also. Currently self-employed and work from home, only needing hi speed internet. Working from home, allows me to be with your fur babies more, and give them lots of exercise and love. Athletic, active and I love being outdoors. Smoke, alcohol, and drug free with excellent references & reviews. I am also very in tune with your pet's health and have good instincts to help detect when they are not feeling well. My Healthcare & nutritional background is another asset for A+ animal care I provide. In advance, thank you for the opportunity to love and take care of your 4 legged family members. I look forward to hearing from you soon. Best Regards, JB I am self employed and can work from anywhere. All I need is high speed internet. I make my own schedule and have the freedom to take care of your pet(s). In my clients home. Blessed to work from anywhere remotely. This allows me the freedom to play with your pets and give them lots of affection and attention. I'm very intuitive with your pet and have a good sense for your pet's health. My references are stellar, and I am very responsible and trusting. .
About: I absolutely adore animals and have never lived a life without them. I adopted my very own sweet dog Sage at 18 (as soon as I was old enough) and she has been the light of my life. She has taught me a lot of patience and responsibility at a young age. She is definitely a wild girl but I wouldn’t trade her for the world! Since I have a dog I am pretty used to all of the craziness that comes with them like leash pulling, weird eating habits, mess, and of course slobber! I currently nanny from 9:00-5:00 Tuesday through Thursday so I am try to find something to fill that Friday-Monday gap! As I spend those days walking and caring for my own pup I figured I might as well look to see if I can help others! I am a very alert person when it comes to my dog as she is very shy and scared around certain things so I would have course be the same with anyone else’s dog! I would never want to put someone else’s baby in harms way so I am very cautious.
About: I'm a freelance animation writer and dog lover who has had dogs his entire life and enjoys walking and sitting his friend's dogs. Now I'm looking to walk and sit even more dogs to supplement my writing income while also taking advantage of my extremely flexible schedule. I'm very patient, attentive and affectionate with dogs. When I walk, my attention is on the dogs (not my phone) and when I dog sit, I treat your home how I'd like my home to be treated if someone was staying there (i.e. not really wandering around and/or touching stuff, ha) and again, all attention is on the dog. Otherwise, I'll just be writing away on my scripts. I absolutely love dogs and have raise several from puppies. This is also an outlet for me after the passing of a beloved elderly dog that I had since she was a puppy. I'd be happy to take excellent care of your dogs.
About: My name is ebony and I have always loved dogs my whole life. Before working for Rover, I would travel from Toledo, Ohio to Hamilton/Fairfield which is estimately a 3 hour drive without a problem to dog sit for my sister and I absolutely enjoyed doing it. According to relocating, now I live in Middletown Ohio and working toward starting a dog sitting businesss. My sister introduced me to rover and I am excited to be doing business with different types of dogs and people. I am willing to walk, feed, play and keep your dog company. Not only those services but I am offering a free dog grooming service the first time i watch your pup. If you give me a chance at watching your dog I can prove to you how much I enjoy them and I’m pretty sure they will enjoy me being around just as much, maybe even more. Please no unruly dogs, Soon i will be able and certified in training dogs. Thank you for reading my introduction and I hope you have a delightful day!! I am still new to Rover but I definitely have an open schedule for any dog service needed. I am flexible with any day of the week as well as time. I have a unfenced backyard, so prefer dog to have a leash. I do not mind taking the dog to a park either. I don't mind taking the dog for a walk. It is not required but highly recommended as your dog is house trained due to the fact I have no pets at all and I am in process of learning how to train thanks to rover but not yet certified.

I’m an early bird and love to stay busy! I work as a bartender so I have plenty of time on my hands and have a flexible schedule to take great care of your loved ones I have two wonderful fur babies that I walk regularly. About: I've had a love for animals my entire life and have years of hands-on pet care experience. Growing up with two family dogs taught me the responsibilities of daily pet care, from feeding and walking to playtime, exercise, grooming, and making sure they always felt loved and cared for. In addition to caring for my own pets, I volunteered as a foster with Cincinnati Animal CARE, where I provided a safe and nurturing home for a foster cat. Through fostering, I gained experience helping a pet adjust to a new environment, establishing routines, monitoring their well-being, and giving them the patience and attention they needed to thrive before finding their forever home. These experiences have helped me become a compassionate, dependable caregiver who understands that every pet has their own personality and deserves individualized care. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, happy, and loved while their family is away. In addition to caring for dogs throughout my life, I also had the rewarding experience of fostering a cat through Cincinnati Animal CARE. Fostering taught me the importance of patience, creating a calm and safe environment, and helping an animal adjust to a new home and routine. I provided daily care, including feeding, cleaning the litter box, playtime, and plenty of affection while monitoring the cat's comfort and well-being. This experience strengthened my understanding that every pet has a unique personality and needs individualized care. Whether I'm caring for a playful kitten, a relaxed senior cat, or an energetic dog, I'm committed to making them feel safe, loved, and comfortable! My schedule allows for flexibility throughout most of the week. I attend classes on Tuesday and Thursday mornings, so I have limited availability during those times. Outside of those class hours, I am available for pet care services, including weekdays, evenings, and weekends. I strive to be reliable and accommodating when scheduling visits, walks, or overnight care, and I will communicate promptly to ensure your pet receives the attention and care they deserve. At my house I have a fenced in yard so my dog is protected from any of the animals around. Your dog’s safety and happiness always come first. I provide dependable care, constant supervision, and secure walks so you can feel completely at ease.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
