“Teah and Eric were great with my puppy, a 13 week old golden doodle named Ozzy. I’ve never had a dog before, let alone a puppy, and I was of course more than anxious about leaving Ozzy overnight somewhere he’s never been! Teah assured me he’d be fine, and he was! He made buds right away with Teah’s two pups, and had a grand old time playing in the huge fenced-in backyard. Many pictures were sent to me during Ozzy’s stay and I really appreciated that constant communication assuring me he was having fun. She approached them on their terms (because cats don’t always warm up immediately!!) and I was rewarded with many pictures and videos of both my cats enjoying her company. I have two boys, and those are known to get urinary problems as they are older. About: I’ve been involved with dog rescue for many years. I worked with virtually every type of dog there is. From shy, timid to very high energy. I’ve had dogs that had aggression issues. I worked with dogs on leash training, housebreaking, and socialization. I am retired. I have nothing but time on my hands! I volunteer Thursday mornings at an equine therapy barn. But I will still have time to take care of animals on Thursdays. I am open to caring for dogs in my home. But! They have to be dog and cat friendly. I would prefer not to have younger dogs, only because my dogs are older and don’t like young dogs, jumping all over them. My dogs are very dog friendly though. My cats are very dog friendly. In fact, they prefer dogs over our cats!

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I currently have a cat and a 3 year old pit/cattle dog mix. I have owned multiple dogs over the years, including reactive dogs, which gave me hands on experience with different personalities, behaviors, and needs. I worked closely with a professional trainer in the past and gained a lot of confidence in handling and understanding dogs of all kinds. Because my entire family has dogs, I’m constantly around animals and genuinely love spending time caring for them. I understand that every pet is different and that some are energetic and social, while others need patience, structure, and a calm approach. Whether your pet loves playtime, walks, cuddles, or just having a comforting presence around, I’ll make sure they feel safe, cared for, and loved while you’re away! I currently work full time Monday-Friday from 7-4, however I am fully remote and my job is relatively flexible. Working from home makes life easy as I can take time on my lunch break to do a quick walk or drop in with your fur babies. I’m also available before 7am and after 4pm on weekdays and available on the weekends. I do get bank holidays off and a decent amount of PTO which allows even more flexibility 🙂 While I’d love to welcome every pet into my home, I have a reactive dog of my own, so I currently only offer care in clients’ homes through drop ins, walks, and house sitting.
