“Another amazing stay with Kathleen and her family! She went out of her way to accommodate my last minute schedule changes and most importantly took amazing care of and loved my Penelope like her own!!!”

“My basset hound Rosie had a greak week playing with Joe's dogs and came back cleaner than when she left (thanks for the bath!). Great communication and lots of pictures are a big help for not worrying about my sweet pup while on vacation. I booked with Joe last year, and I'll probably choose him again next year as well.”

“Always feel comfortable leaving Fezzie with Sara and Craig. They take such good care of her. She has other dogs and the kids to play with. I received pictures of her having fun each day I was away.”

“Teah and Eric were great. I received many photo updates while we were gone. No doubt Tootsie was being well cared for and getting lots of love and attention. Thank you Teah and Eric!!”

I have a flexible hybrid work schedule that enables me to give attention to pets! My weekends are generally freed up for playtime at a park, plenty of walks, or just lounging if thats whats requested. I just had to say goodbye to my loving 9 year old Border Collie / Golden Retriever mix. I made his health, happiness, and comfort my top priority.
“This is the first time we have ever boarded a fur baby in someone’s home. We were very nervous. Our dog has stitches and needed meds during his stay and Karin was able to accommodate his needs! She was also awesome at sending us pictures and updates. It was great seeing him having fun! We will definitely be using her again! We will even do some doggy daycare since our dogs are besties now!”

“My 2 dogs had a great overnight stay with Cora and her family! She has a great yard for play, and she let my dogs live at her house like they would have at home. I would definitely use Cora again!”
“Sarah and Matthew are a DREAM for dog sitters and their beautiful farm is just paradise for any pup. They took such great care of our dog for eight days. They’d send pictures daily and communicated with us each day. Absolutely five star rating!”

“Kanika and Jan were great! They sent updates frequently and have been so understanding and accommodating with my schedule. Will continue booking with them in the future, I highly recommend them! They also administered medication to my dog when he was sick. They are awesome!!”

“Simba had a great first night stay with Kiersten! He got along well with her 2 dogs and came hope nice and tired! Kiersten is super! She asked lots of questions and made sure she knew how Simba was and made sure I was comfortable with what she had planned while Simba was there. She sent pics throughout the day and treated him like her own! Simba will be going back next week for a longer stay as I know he will be happy at Kiersten’s!”

“Nicole and her family were amazing with our dog, Maverick. He has some separation anxiety and he did so well in their care. They will be our go-to dog sitters from this point forward.”

“Benji has been boarded with Krystal and Ryan about 4 times. He so loves them that as soon as he gets out of the car, he dashes in, not looking back at all. He comes home clean and happy. I get a lot of pictures and videos and regular updates. I wish that Krystal and Ryan will always be available when I need Benji boarded. Send your beloved pets here and enjoy a carefree vacation. You will not regret it.”

About: I have extensive experience caring for a wide variety of animals, including both large and small dogs, cats, rabbits, snakes, turtles, and fish. My professional background includes working at a veterinary clinic for several months, followed by a year and a half at an animal humane society, where I gained valuable experience caring for animals with diverse needs. I currently work at a doggy daycare, where I continue to build my knowledge of canine behavior, safety, and care. In addition to my professional experience, I have provided dog and house sitting services for family friends. I am experienced in caring for senior dogs and pets with special needs, ensuring they receive the patience, attention, and specialized care they require. My hands-on experience with animals of all ages, sizes, and temperaments allows me to provide dependable, compassionate, and attentive care for every pet as if they were my own. I work Monday through Friday, typically from 6:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., which gives me plenty of time each afternoon and evening to provide attentive care, walks, playtime, and companionship for your pets. I also have weekends completely free, allowing me to dedicate full days to giving your furry family members the love, attention, and care they deserve. I am committed to ensuring every pet feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you're away. I tailor my care to each pet's individual needs and always follow the owner's instructions and routine. I strive to provide at least 30 minutes of playtime and enrichment activities during each visit. For pets without access to a fenced yard, I also provide approximately 30 minutes of neighborhood walks, depending on the pet's age, size, energy level, and overall health. Afterward, I continue engaging them with indoor play or enrichment activities to keep them mentally and physically stimulated.
“Michelle is a wonderful pet sitter! Her house is meticulous and she has a large fenced yard. She treated our pup lke she was her own. She played with her, took her for walks and even let her sleep with her. She sent me lots of pictures and videos which was much appreciated. We’ve been using Rover for a couple of years and this was by far our best experience yet!.”

Bonnie is a second mom to our pup. We trust her completely. She takes every care to make sure that Bailey gets the care that she needs. This time she needed a special diet and had special instructions. Bonnie made sure to connect with us every day to let us know how Bailey was doing. We appreciate Bonnie so much and can’t thank her enough for all the love she shows our baby!

Michelle took the absolute best care of my sweet boy while I was away for vacation!! I typically board him but the first weeks in July are usually full and she was able to accommodate in a short time frame, she took tons of pictures and videos of my boy which was great relief miles away in another country. First time on Rover and first time leaving Ace (my dog) with another family and I couldn’t be happier, we will definitely be seeing her in the future for any pet sitting needs. Also, she has a dog named Roman and he’s quite adorable and was a great little buddy for Ace. I feel they were attached at the hip in most of his photos lol

Beka was awesome with my senior dog, Lilly. Lilly required a little bit of extra care and she was very well taken care of. Lilly seemed to be very comfortable and I felt very much at ease leaving her with Beka and her family. I also appreciated the pictures that were sent throughout the week letting me know that all was well.

Gilbert was an outstanding dog care partner while my family was away. He met Ripley before we left to get a chance to get introduced to each other and let Ripley explore their backyard. Their home is in a great community with a perfect fenced in backyard. Our family enjoyed receiving pictures and updates during our travel. I highly recommend Gilbert for anyone that needs overnight dog care!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Many sitters in OH ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
