“Julie and Barry are wonderful! If we lived closer I’d always use them to care for my dog, and I’d want to have them as my personal friends! Having traveled to Portland from San Diego to visit our toddler granddaughter, we were in a bind. Our mixed-breed dog is reactive to the toddler and to the two cats who also live in the house, and that makes for a stressful visit. I wanted to get a dog sitter, but I was worried about finding someone so far from home on short notice. Our dog has a lot of separation anxiety and is rather high-strung. I started a search on Google, and Julie and Barry popped up. Trust me, you should do what I did—look no further! I knew right away that I had found a gem! Julie and Barry have a beautiful, peaceful home. They were so kind to my dog that she jumped out of our car each morning when we dropped her off and ran up to their front door because she was so excited to see them again! In short, we didn’t have any worries at all about our dog during this visit. Julie and Barry only take care of one dog at a time, and they will give your dog individualized attention and lots of love! They do this out of their love for dogs, and I can’t imagine a more perfect situation. Thank you so much, Julie and Barry!”

I foster dogs and cats regularly from the shelter (familiar with rescue angels) and I have experience and am comfortable will all dog breeds and administering medications if needed. They went above and beyond expectations for Artemis even if he is a prissy eater. Both Jenn and Makana treated Artemis like their own while he spent time with them. About: I've taken care of dogs and cats since I was a child, whether my own or checking in on friend's pets. Many of my friends and family have relied on me as they have trusted I would take meticulous care of their fur babies and make them feel comfortable and loved. I'm comfortable handling senior care as well as puppies and kittens and am happy to follow directions for any special care needed, including administering oral medications. I just retired from Nursing in October 23 and moved to my kids place, lower house half, in Gresham. I take care of their 2 year old Blue Heeler... Bluebell. Since I myself, being a jogger these past 40 years, need daily movement and fresh air, my kids introduced me to "Rover". I love animals! What a better way to spend my free time by taking great care of animals, having a purpose and doing what I love the most! At the moment, I have almost all the time in the world! I have a large, fenced in backyard. Bluebell, the Blue Heeler would love a companion to play with. I can also easily take a crate if you prefer. If my home or yours, after writing down all your directions/our agreement and will take great care of your furry family member.
